^^^naku aquacharly, kakahiya naman to test drive lol! i have seen it in hermes HK last year. ok naman for me yung opening, mejo hassle lang minsan if you are used to carrying a birkin na angdali kunin stuff inside. =)

depends on where you buy it - if it's from the boutique dapat wala.  but if it's from a 2nd hand store (like the 'stations' at HK), meron yung ibang nakita ko, and they say it's auth.... it's to protect daw the handles from darkening further?

If I were you, I would hold out and wait for a Birkin 35.  Specially if you travel for business.  It is roomy enough for docs/netbook/Ipad when you go to your meetings.  And the sindak value of a Birkin is good.. when you attend business meetings.      Unless, LOL -- your meeting is to get aid for our country.  ooopz!

I travel with my Birkins, that is the original function of that style talaga.  For personal and business trips.    But, now that I do not need to always have a stroller, I just ordered a small Jypsiere... nagpapahanap ako abroad too sa sister and cousins too.   That way, my hands are free for the kids, malilikot eh.   I  am trying to figure out how to pack a Birkin in my suitcase though.

No worries!  I got the graphite Evelyne - I really like it because it's messenger style (and reasonable!), but also waitlisted for the Etoupe 35 at the Hermes store in Chicago.  I thought they won't let me waitlist, but was surprised that they did.  Now let's see if I get a call soon...

Oh, Mother's Day came early -- got a call for the small Jypsiere!  Yup, I have it in my greedy hehe hands now.

HEATHERETTE-  the orange box was in fitted plastic - hence, you get your box really smelling fresh.  I always enjoy seeing my name written on the plastic - coz it means talagang sent for you from Paris - and nobody has set  eyes on it yet nor handled it..

The  bag inside - in its dustbag - was cradled on white paper - parang naka pillow pa nga.
No  plastic on the handles, but small blue plastic on some parts of the hardware - not all hardware ha.
There is that soft orange soft fabric too to protect some parts of the bag.
I have the plastic  removed, to be sure na talaga no scratches.  (some don't have it removed, coz they intend to sell it 1 day - pag pinagsawaan or coz it isn't the "it" color of Birkin anymore, for example)

After you inspect and pay for it --  they put the Hermes brown logo ribbon around the box - like a gift!
That is how they always dispatch Hermes products - beribboned. 
So, if pa buy ka brand new abroad - expect those little details.

I so wanted a Birkin haha We were checking Rolex watches kanina, ganun din ang price, sabi ko Birkin nalang ibili sa akin haha

My cousin kasi showed this photo, naka-plastic yung handle. Nagtataka lang ako. Her dad told my dad na fake nga yun pero dun sa photo kasi pinapalabas niya na original yung kanya. Para lang baliw haha

Sis aquacharly, Jypsiere 28 ba sa iyo? how much bili mo?  Hay, i also like jypsiere kaya lang too expensive. My husband told me with that amount of money, better buy jewelry nalang daw, sayang daw pera ko.... =(

Not yet. But it is supposed to come this Fall season.   
When it comes, I will send off 2 of my Birkins to Paris for cleaning.  Even if you drop off the bag in Paris - if you will have it delivered here - you pay the same 2-way transpo fee. Lol

Yes, always 2-way fee.  The cleaning is actually free, so bawi nila sa transpo.

Aquacharly, after seeing the Jypsiere parang mas gusto ko na sya compared to the Birkin. I believe mas magagamit ko kasi ito compared to the B bag. I can use it both here and during my travels. Ayaw ko naman gamitin dito yung B bag at baka ako maholdap!     And mas afford ko pa ngayon yung Jypsiere  But I'll get the bigger version parang the 28cm is small for me.

pano ba makapagorder ng birkin for first time buyers? do i need to go personally sa store or pwede na thru phone ang pag order? Newbie here .. Do they entertain 1st time buyer or not really so what is the best to do para i can place and order?

i saw a lot of lindys in hermes greenbelt last sat. there's rouge, light blue that i like pero goodluck sa price! =) mulberry muna ako for now lols!
