how long would it take for the passport processing kung 1st time kang kumuha nito?

to expedite or speed up the process of your application, you should pay P750, but if you can wait for 2 weeks, just pay P500.. ^^

^wow mabilis na ang 2 weeks. i remember when i got my daughter's passport in 2007, inaabot ng 3-4 weeks. that was the time when they first introduced the machine-readable passport and they were having problems with the surge of applications. good thing though we know people from DFA so the processing was cut to 2 weeks plus we didnt have to fall in line.

@ hunny_ally: oo sis.. the system is so much better now with the online appointment system.. you don't have to queue at all! for my baby and me, MRP passports lang ang kinuha ko.. di ko naman kasi alam na may e-passport na pala.. haha..

anyway, i have read your previous posts about KLM.. baby-friendly ba sila? and.. hindi ba kayo nawalan ng luggage? sabi kasi ni hubby laging nangyayari yun sa passenger's ng KLM dahil sa sobrang busy ng airline.. the busiest in europe daw kasi mas mura compare to others

machine readable na ba ang nirerelease nila ngayon? i heard that after April 2010, dapat marron colored passport na. I have to get a new one for my todd na nga. sayang lang.

true ba yan na 7 days na lang ang processing kasi yung passport ng eldest ko lapit na mag expire balak ko sana ikuha sya sa pinas pag-uwi namin sa dec.

we didnt have any problems with KLM re our luggages. we took KLM cause: 1) we preferred to do our stopover in Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam; 2) I've been taking Northwest (sister company of KLM) eversince for my US trips and I was able to use my miles; 3) we only need to take 1 stopover as opposed to other airlines.

The FAs are very attentive so no problem with that. One even offered an extra bib instead of me making take the extra effort of opening the overhead bin to get a clean one.

We encountered though a delay when we're about to leave MNL for AMS. But other than that, we didnt have any problems

yes, the worth 750 is the one week processing.. pero ang alam ko, you have to pay a separate amount for that..

we are taking KLM na den siguro kasi nga 1 stopover lang den sya to istanbul from amsterdam.. plus, mas maiksi ang waiting for the boarding time unlike kung gulf air ang sakyan namen, to be convenient for the baby..

hindi pala nagseserve ng baby food sa cebupacific.. singapore to manila.. (kasi budget fare lang kami.. airbus lang).. meron na ba sa inyo naka try na magpa-init ng food ni baby? first time na sasakay sa plane si baby sa december na hindi lang milk ang food intake nya.. nag sosolids na din kasi..

^ Pia since 3 hours lang naman ang byahe di ko rin napakain si hershey nun sa plane. she had her meal before we board. at di ko na din pina init kasi wala ngang option. hehe. tapos during the flight she is asleep and dede sya dun. nakatulong din ang pagdede nya to prevent ear pressure.

hapee I advice na wag na lang ikaw bili nyan kasi baka maging discomfort lang yan sa kanya. puede mo naman sya bigyan ng candy while taking off & landing para mawala yung air pressure nya or feed her.

pia wala po talaga food kapag budget airline. never ko pa na try magpa init ng fud ng baby pero dun sa mga nababasa kong feedback ( di naman sya sa cebupac nangyari) sa mga budget airline di mo daw masyadong mautusan yung mga flightsteward kahit nga daw isang basong tubig di ka mabigyan eh.

^^haps may ganyan si sofia. my dad gave it to her to use for last new year. thats what they use sa plant before when the noise level is beyond the acceptable amount.

i didnt know it's for relieving air pressure din pala. all i know it's for blocking the sound. it never worked for sofia. she kept removing it.

yung pedia naman ng panganay ko nirecommend nung 1 yr old pa sya na painumin ng benadryl yung baby ko para tulog sya during the entire flight from manila to singapore. kaso hindi ko nagawa kaya nag-lalakad sa aisle anak ko. buti na lang napagod din sya at natulog kaya noong bumababa na yung airplane eh tulog sya at pinadede ko kaya hindi ko naging problema yung pagsakit ng tenga nya, while yung ibang baby at mga bata na kasama namin sa flight eh nagsisiiyakan.

my baby doesn't have any problem with flying.. kahit 10-hour ship ride pa yan or 1 1/2 hour trike ride with lots of rain.. she knows how to behave during difficult travels.. lahat na ng babies and kids on board are crying and showing tantrums but not my baby.. i adore her so so much because of that.. hubby would alway say "you are lucky to have such a kind daughter"

di ko nga natry yung benadryl pero safe naman sabi ng pedia para lang tulog yung bata while travelling. atsaka ipapainom lang kapag malapit ng magtake off para makatulog yung bata.

anyway my baby is having her first flight on november she will be 6 months by then i hope maging ok naman i will try to feed her milk na lang for the air pressure

hehe.. mabigat na nga si baby kung 2 yo na.. kelangang mo nga ng stroller lalo pa kung mahaba ang interval between flights..
