I'm a newbee here. i'm on my last day in using flagystatin. 3 days lang prescribed ng doc ko, but i had my 1st day of period today.  i think, di na naman remarkable ang infection ko, i hope so. can someone tell me if what is best, will I use the last supp today  or wait until i finish my period, for about 3-4 days of mens?  i had no time na din kase to check with my doc.

thanks Lei_Glee.  I read your reply late. Apparently, I took the chance to have my last supp last night, since nabasa  ko din sa medications na should continue the use even with period.  unfortunately, this morning, nagkaroon ako ng mga pantal around my butt, stomach & arms. 

Now I don't know if it is because of Flagystatin which nagka-allergy ako after 3 days. Is it possible?  o there could be other factors which nagka-allergy ako? Possible ba na late ang allergy reaction sa gamot?  Meron din kase akong antibacterial cream na ginagamit pa but been using it for more than 1 week already. Kung kelan last night I changed the bed sheet.  That is why, I don't know what could be the cause of my allergy.  I used to take Celestamine pag may allergy ako, kaya bumili ako at uminom na ng 1 kanina.  Then, I researched, di pla pwde ang Celestamine if ever may fungal infection.  My OB did not directly told me naman na fungal infection yung sa akin, pero sa mga nireseta sa akin, I assume, ganon na din yon kaya di na sana ko inom ng Celestamine. Hay, ano bang nangyayari?  Does someone had the same occurence?

Hello! My question lang ako mga sissies.. Last week i had my first pap smear (i took advantage sa health card ko). During the check-up may nakitang traces of blood un OB ko. Although wala nman ako discharge, or anything na abnormal na nararamdaman niresetahan nya ako ng Albothyl supporsitory (7 supp every other night). On my first 2 supp ok naman, parang normal lang. Pero on my 3 supp mahapdi sya and my burning sensation. Is it normal or kailangan ko na i-stop? Wala pa pap smear result ko and im a bit scared. Please enlighten me kung mayroon sa inyo with the same experience. Thanks!

From what I read yung mga vag supp, side effects talaga ang burning sensation, it is advisable to continue the medication from your doctor.  May mga meds din kase na di pwde basta basta tinitigil.  But if the side effects are not tolerable, better ask your OB and inform on how you feel.  Actually, i've finished a 3-day Flagystatin supp ( buti na lang 3 days lang reseta) and after 2 days iba ang feeling down there, di ko madescribe, siguro nga prang may hapdi, burning sensation o parang nag ti-tighthen. after 2 weeks naman ako pinapabalik ng OB ko, may be because from my last check up ok na yung condition ko, whatever it is that arose.

Try to search yung supp na nireseta sa yo if you can't check with your OB asap.

May I ask kung may side effects ka naexperience with flagystatin?  Di ko kase maexplain yung sa akin, recently lang ako nag supp and until now iba ang feeling sa V ko. Weird pa nga yung paglalagay ko for 3 days na reseta kase parang cream lang yung flagystatin pag open ko kaya ayun di ko alam pano ipush o insert.  Basta pahid ko lang sa loob, medyo gang labas nga natunaw

^ sis may instruction ang OB ko to freeze the flagystatin 20 minutes before insertion kaya matigas siya and push it in as far as you can ako hindi ko na siya nakikita, pwede ka maglagay ng pillow sa ilalim ng balakang mo if pakiramdam mo na bumababa yung supp. sa umaga pag wiwi ko saka ko siya nakikita na lumalabas na tunaw na nakahalo sa wiwi ko. sis parang may discomfort ng kaunti yung pakiramdam down there parang mahapdi na naiihi pero very mild discomfort lang naman.

ano ba yon, walang instruct OB ko to freeze, as in nung describe nya clueless ako ako kaya nagtaka ako bakit ganon yung v. supp, iba sa describe nya pati sa nababasa ko, buti na lang for 3 nights lang.  kung di ba nainsert yon the farthest, d naging ganon ka effective?  pero, so far naman feeling ko wala ng infection. next week pa ulit visit ko sa OB to confirm na ok na ok na talaga.

Hi sis! I went to my OB last day to get the results of my test and she prescribed me to use Neo-Penotran at night for 5 days. I was not advised na di pala pwede ang contact while under medication. Good thing i researched about Vag.supp first.

When my OB told me that I have to use a suppository, I was clueless kung ano yun. I ask her how to use it. She advised me na use the meds before bedtime and make sure na matutulog ka na. She even told me na it is better to use the middle finger to push the suppository inside and make sure that you inserted the whole finger  para ma-secure na hindi lalabas ulit yung suppository and masayang kasi mahal nga sya. then the next day, normal lang daw na may white na lalabas and residue nga yun ng gamot.

I will be using the meds after my period. She told me na pwede na gamitin yung gamot sa 3rd or 4th day ng menstruation basta mahina na lang or spotting na lang.

Good luck to me. Sana di ganong irritating yung feeling pag naglagay ng suppository.

Niresetahan din ako ne neo penotran forte l... And my concern is pagnaipasok ko na sya, tapos nararamdaman ko nagmemelt sya after ilang minutes...tas nagleleak sya, okay lang kaya yun? I have short vaginal canal din kasi. Kaya I'm worried baka di umepek ng todo yung gamot kasi mamaya nasasayang lang kasi nagleleak sya. tia po sa magrreply.

Ang haba na ng topic na toh. kaka stop ko lang mag breastfeed last month. my husband and i didnt make love for almost a month na. dahil umiiwas talaga ako kasi last time super masakit. sabi nila vaginal dryness daw ata dahil sa pag breastfeed. meron po ba nakakaalam kung anung pwedeng solusyon nito? aside from drinking lots of water. meron kasi ako nabasa na estrogen cream daw. pero di ko sure kung meron dito sa philippines.

ask lang po ako kung meron kayong alam na cream na pwede mabili sa pharmacy. hehe aside lang din sa lubricant.

i was advised by my OB to use also Albothyl (7 times every other night) the last time she interpreted my papsmear result. It was my 1st night to use it last night.
i searched about albothyl and i found this site. this site is very interesting and informative.
i forgot to ask my OB some questions but luckily i found answers by reading through the previous posts here.

Hi sis i suggest na i ref mo muna for a few minutes para firm bago ipasok..kasi kung melted na sya na parang cream hindi na sya papasok hanggang loob. Just push it until ma feel mo na automatic na syang pumasok sa loob ng vagina...don't stand up yet to wash your hands or else lalabas yung suppository.

I went to the OB yesterday to have myself checked. Kasi I have this small warts isang flat at isang parang pimple. I am familiar with this and I was so sure na warts ito kasi napag-aralan na namin 'to before. The OB asked me kung anong klaseng discharge, sabi ko YELLOWISH SYA TAPOS MINSAN WHITE LANG NA FISHY ANG AMOY. Then minsan naman super kati ng labia ko, and I started scratching it the next morning bigla nalang magbabalat yung area. The OB asked to be IE'd, ayun IE lang diba dapat PAPSMEAR? Then niresetahan nya ako ng ALDARA CREAM for my warts (every other day) and ALBOTHYL vag supp (1 supp/night) Yun lang. Di ba dapat Paps? Para maidentify kung anong klaseng STD sya.

Hello. I'm new here. Dami ko natutunan dito regarding V supps. Niresetahan ako ng OB ko ng neopenotran for 6 days kaya lang, nagt-TTC kami ni hubby before ako mabigyan ng reseta so my question is if this is safe if ever maging pregnant ako, di ba siya makaka-apekto kay baby or sa chance ko to become pregnant?

Help please. I have bv for the 3rd time and priniscribe ni doc neopenotran kasi dati oral flagyl tinake ko pero parang temporary relief lang sya sakin. It's to be used 7days and im sad kasi bf and i have planned for months and months na mag out of town which is this weekend. It will be sa 6th day ko of the vag. Sup. kung sakali. Pwede ba gamitin ang vag. Sup. in conjunction with oral flagyl? Pwede din kayang istop after 4days then resume na lang pagtapos if i were to also drink flagyl orally? We've booked the hotel and everything na...
