christmas decors, anyone started home decorating?

Yes, nagkabit na kami last Monday.  Our little Xmas tree!  Plan to add decors pa.  May possibility kasi na baka nasa US si hubby sa Xmas so hanggang andito pa siya, paparamdam na namin sa kiddo namin ang Pasko

sis sobrang dami dun kahit malapit sa tutuban mall sa kabilang building sa baba marami na rin, also walk ka sa divisoria mall sobrang dami dun sa labas kung saan may maraming nagbebenta ng raw materials for souvenirs. if you're preggy ingat ka lang kasi sobrang daming tao dun.

as early as september i was planning to put up our
xmas tree na right after i bought some supplies at
national bookstore. lam nyo naman dun, sept.1 pa
lang ata christmas-y na ang motif.

i usually start decorating when dec steps in, but
i'd like to try/make it a little different this year
sana, except that i can't decorate yet, our xmas
furnishings were mostly ruined by the recent flood.

sa office namin, old cds ang ginawa namin christmas tree. dinikit dikit lang din dun sa mga holes, nilagyan namin namin ng flower decors then christmas light

bought a small and very shiny gold tree and used the old decors i bought years ago.
bought moss trees din and some moss balls (rustan's)

Nov. 11 -- our labor force that annually puts the lights on the trees and garden plants will  start on this day.   LAst year, it took them 6 days to finish it all;  should take another day longer this year coz the trees are taller

Nov. 15 -- the crew that annually decorates our biggest Xmas tree;  and puts lights on the other smaller indoor/artificial trees -- will start at 3PM; and should be done by 10PM.

For unique/ interesting christmas decors you may try Dapitan Arcade. I went there last week and I bought a very cheap Xmas Tree lol, will eventually move it to our 3rd floor and will replaced it ofcourse with a better one.

Here's my entry on my Dapitan Arcade experience, too bad it was raining then and i failed to take a shot of their fab items, will definitely come back before the month ends

This week pa lang kame nagstart mag-decorate cus we had our house renovated. Finally it looks like xmas na in our house!

i don't know what's gotten to me,but this year i wasn't really excited about "christmas countdown" but yeah! because of the kids i was forced to decorate our living room kahit medyo tamad pa you know naman how they love chritmas holidays, chrismas decors, christmas trees and the like.my daughter has this notion that if we don't put our christmas tree then santa will not leave the presents just beacause he wouldn't know where to put them.hay..kids!so imaginative

I put up the christmas tree around end of September. Every week I'd put new decors on it. Before the end of October it looked ok already. Kaya lang it's almost bare na now. My two-year old niece loves to remove the decors (esp. the balls) from the "mas-mas tree" and throw it around. I'll have to arrange it all again and probably buy some more decors. Marami kasi ang nawala.

^Haha, my 2yr old daughter din, natumba pa nga niya ang Christmas tree namin, then all what she said was "Sowee". My baby likes to see her reflection sa decoration balls, kaya ang ilalim ng Christmas tree namin, instead of gifts, plastic na cockroach at spider para di niya lapitan.

we already have the belen, the angels, parol and christmas tree out and set up already last Saturday.  we were excited kasi last yearr we didn't have a christmas tree as we were just in an apartment while waiting for the house construction to finish.  as early as september my hubby, my son and i were already looking out for christmas decors.  my hubby mistakenly asked my son to pick out the christmas balls - lahat blue (thomas blue daw!), so i picked out silver balls to to complement the blue.

my son was so excited in setting up the christmas tree and in decorating it, you'd know it was him who 'helped' in decorating kasi lahat halos ng blue balls near the bottom of the tree (he's 3 btw).  when the maid and hubby tried to fix it, ibinabalik ni son sa dati niyang pwesto.

buti naman nun na decorate na hindi na niya ginagalaw, content na sya na nakatingin lang sya.

funny kasi yung tree naka cover ng plastic lahat ng (stems ba yun? yung individual thing na me pins?) tumulong talaga si son magtanggal isa isa dun sa plastic, tapos he picked all the plastic up and dumped it in the box the tree came in and then told the maid to put hers there too, 'don't make a mess' daw kasi.

still looking for additional things to add to those i already have, though.

Same here. Ilang beses na rin natumba ang "mas-mas tree" and she just says "o-wee tita". Planning to buy more decors this weekend.
