I'm planning to take my first shot within the year. Nirecommend kasi ng ob ko altho di pa namin napag-usapan, she just mentioned na it costs 4500 daw. I'm assuming gardasil na yun.

Ang price ba is depende sa ob or sa hospital/clinic mismo? And do you know of clinics na ang price range nasa 3-3500? Meron kasi akong mga nababasa na ganun ang price.

Ang HPV sis is a sexually transmitted infection. And usually depends on how strong the virus it will cause genital infections which leads to cervical cancer.

expensive yung sa OB mo. Sa OB ko mas cheaper. hindi tataas ng 5k per shot.

Ang mahal sis! Yung saking 5k lang, 3 shots na. Kaso inoffer kasi ng company namin kaya tingin ko discounted na to.

I finished my 3 shots this july lang, p2.5k/shot. Good thing pwede na sa mga bata na 9-11yrs old pero 2 shot lang ibibigay sa kanila kaya sinaman ko na anak ko.

Yung cervical vaccine ko, 2013 pa ata yun. Tapos ngayon nga nalaman ko hindi pwede magpa-vaccine pag nag-ttc. So pass ako sa Flu, Hepa Vaccines na inooffer ng company namin.

I don't know if this thread is still active or if anyone is still following on this topic. But I had a long talk with my OB about cervical cancer. Sabi ko nagbabalak ako magpa-vaccine, and she told me na wag ko daw balakin, I have to make it happen.

So I'm looking into January of next year to get vaccinated pero ang offer kasi niya sakin is 4,500/shot. May sinabi siya saakin na mas mura pero wala daw silang stock at "less effective" daw. Since pwede naman 3 shots in a span of 6 months, pwede na siguro yung 4.500php.

But do you, girls, know if meron mas mura around Makati area? Would really appreciate any recommendations. Thank you!

^hanap ka ng ibang OB na nag ooffer ng mas murang Gardasil. I had mine in 2008 kasi mas effective daw ang protection kapag no sexual experience ka pa and less than 27yrs old..i only paid 12,000 that time and the price then was around 16k kung di ka bibili in bulk. my then "future sis-in-law" is an ob and she gets cheaper prices 'cause of bulk purchases. by this time mas mura na siya dapat.

Last November, I was advised by my OB na magpa cervical cancer vaccine. I asked if it's important ba talaga, and she said yes, required daw sa kin lalo na at may endometriosis ako. For protection daw. PhP 3,500 per shot yung sa kin as per my OB.

Bago ako bumalik sa OB ko, I asked first my doctor cousin if it's ok for me to have, and yung amount kung ok lang. She said yes, required talaga and super mura na daw yun so di na ko nag-atubili pa.

So finally after 2 months, bumalik ako sa OB ko for my regular check up and there I was given also my first shot of Gardasil.
I also told my OB na hindi ko na din mahintay kasi yung annual offer sa office ng mga vaccine. My OB told me na mura yung ino offer sa mga companies kasi mas mababang strains daw yun. Mine was Gardasil-4 (she was talking about Strains na hindi ko naman maintindihan. lols!)

Next shot will be after 2 months pa. Then 3rd after 4 months naman, i think.
