sachism: true sa patience. super saya ko na kung matapos ako magpakain in less than 1hr. minsan inaabot kami ng 2hrs :P

i think you need to get your cue from your baby's pedia already. hindi cya worried so why worry about your baby's weight? and "appetizers"? wala namang appetizer ang baby. snacks meron pa.

happy easternmga fellow moms. huh huh i am also in appetite crisis. my 1.5yr old baby girl nakaka 15 oz lang 24 hrs. then gusto lang cerelac na solid and biskits and jelly ace. pediasure gamit nya till weight remains as ease na 12kg. d na dumagdag. she drinks plenty of water though.

At your baby's age, milk should not be her main source of nutrition. My suggestion is to concentrate on giving her more solid food. Slowly introduce rice and meat to her diet.

^bad po ba ang cerelac sa 1.5yr old?  we started giving cerelac to baby as part of her breakfast from i think 8months old? now she just turned 11months old.

then recently, i want yung brown rice cereal, kaya lang nung natikman ko, hindi masarap kaya siguro konti lang ang eat ni baby nito. kaya what we do is add cerelac to the brown rice cereal para lang magbago [textspeak!] lasa...

^^sis grayce,
about jelly ace at 1.5yrs old, i heard bad daw ang jelly sa baby kasi hindi natutunaw sa tummy?  i'm not sure. aside from that, syempre baby should stay away sa mga sweets.

At 1 year of age, the child should be eating table food na. If at that stage, the child continuously eats cerelac and other easy to swallow food, then baka hindi matuto mag-chew or he would prefer that type of food over food that he needs to "work for" (chew).

taz yung isang tinapay antagal ilang oras bago maubus madalas di pa nga inuubos

Wala naman akong concern pagdating sa bottle feeding with my 16 m/o son. Problem ko is hirap syang pakainin ng rice and hit and miss pagdating sa masabaw na ulam and vegetables. Culprit kaya neto formula nya? Pediasure Complete kasi e.

Doc ano kaya magandang gawin? is there any therapy for like this? thank you.

You have to slowly re-introduce different textured food to his diet up to the time he gets used to the different textures and he learns to chew.
Occupational therapists can help with feeding difficulties.

If your child is not find of eating rice, you can serve other carbs naman, like pasta, mashed potato, whole wheat bread and the like.  Nagsasawa rin ang kids sa paulit-ulit na ulam, just like adults.  When my kids are tired of eating the usual rice + ulam, we serve them pasta which they love.  Pancit miki cooked from scratch ha, not the instant versions like Lucky Me,  is also good kasi you can add chopped carrots, celery, cabbage, plus bits of chicken or pork to the sabaw so complete meal na rin siya.

Yun ang unang goal, ma-train an chewing. Pag nasanay na, pwede nang set yung feeding time--1 hour breakfast, 1 hour lunch, 1 hour dinner. Worked for us.
