^^Actually sis medyo malayo sa healing process ang Dubai dahil hindi na nila kayang bayaran mga utang nila.  Dubai is now hoping that Abu Dhabi will bail them out from debt.  Kung noon ang Dubai ang number one emirate sa UAE, ngayon ang Abu Dhabi na ang pinakamalakas.

Recent reports have said na kung hindi tutulungan ng Abu Dhabi ang Dubai... tuluyan nang babagsak ang economy ng Dubai. 

Yung ngang Burj Dubai (World's tallest building) tatapusin lang nila at hindi na yata matutuloy ang Downtown Dubai dahil sa crisis.  Downtown Dubai is a collection of skyscrapers, hotels, malls, offices and flats from which Burj Dubai is the center attraction.   So instead of a "downtown," it will only be a tall building, and a big mall.

As I mentioned in my previous post, many on-going constructions have been put on hold if not abandoned.  And future projects, like Dubai's own Universal Studios and many other attractions have either been canceled, or delayed indefinitely.

Suggestion lang po sa mga magdu-Dubai, better try your luck sa ibang emirates muna like Abu Dhabi.  Sa ngayon kase medyo mahirap makipagsapalaran sa Dubai dahil sa mga nangyayari.

^^Cathay pacific meron at 1,680dhs...excluding travel tax so aabot sa 2,175dhs.  Dapat ngayon palang magpa-book ka na.

Malaysia Airlines has it at 1,675dhs including tax.

Singapore has its cheapest fare (depending on departure and arrival dates) at 2,095dhs including tax.

May naka try na ba sainyo mag Chance Passenger??

I'm booked on the 24th December, pero parang gusto ko to take the earlier flight hindi yung mismong flight ko. Given the chance lets say may available seat.

Do I have to pay extra ba kapag chance passenger?

 For sure kasi kapag nag pa rebook ako they charge 300. Turkish airline ako papunta Turkey.

Gusto ko lang sana itry baka may ideas kayo.

Once lang ako nakakita sa isang Pharmacy dito sa dubai that was 2 years ago.

Sa mga Hypermarket, wala pa ako nakita talaga celeteque.

I usually purchase sa Manila and dinadala ko lang dito. Try mo sa mga Pharmacy baka may matyempuhan ka.

^ sis sa Golden sands  in Bur Dubai kami usually stay if we need to go out of our flat before (like kelangan mag repaint or magpa pest control) kasi yun ang pinakamalapit and hindi masyadong traffic from the house compared sa Deira area.

We book sa www.booking.com kasi super mura pag dun eh. around 275dhs/night lang for a studio apartment (good for 2)...pwede pa kaming magluto dun and have our laundry.

bro earl, kasi ganito yun... yung al habtoor nagconduct ng employer's interview nung nov. 19, tapos nagsubmit na lahat ng requirements last friday and inasikaso na yung sa visa ang flight schedule... siguro naman, ok na to noh? naku talaga natatakot na man ako... yung pinsan ko na nagtourist visa last nov. 5, nakahanap na sila ng work, mag-asawa kasi sila... yung wife, secretary sya tapos yung husband is materials engr. pero not in al habtoor sila.... siguro naman ok na tong sa al habtoor ko noh? anybody who worked for alhabtoor here? ok ba sya? ano status ng company nila? heheeh... pasensya na, napapraning na ako... LOL...

sis' i'm not sure if you remember me. hubby ko sa habtoor nag wo work. buti naman pino process na uli ang visa mo. alam ko me nagbukas na site sila kaya lang yun mga dati na sinara nila e sarado na talaga. medyo apektado din talaga sila sa crisis. dati sahod nila on time lagi. ngayon medyo na le late. mga q week lang naman.

May nakaexperience na ba mag close or cancel ng credit card kung wala ka na sa Dubai? Ang alam ko kasi kailangang isurrender mo ang card mo para macut nila... Paano kaya yun.. babalik pa ako sa Dubai para lang iabot cc ko? kakainis kasi may annual fee kaya gusto ko na pacancel..
