mga sis and bro ask ko lang yung sa OEC pwede ba dito na kumuha sa embassy bago magbakasyon? paano pala yon kung yung hubby ko galing sya ng saudi dumerecho dito so yung record nya sa poea eh sa dating employer, ano mga requirements na kelangan?pag kumuha na kami dito tapos naabutan ng expiry pwede ba sa pinas irenew yung OEC? confirm ko lang din pag dependents kagaya ko d na kelangan OEC d ba kahit nagwowork ako kasi under husband's sponsorship pa rin naman ako. thanks.

^Puede sis, you can go to the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Philippine Consulate in Dubai. If your hubby has a different employer, kailangan niyang baguhin ang info niya... he will need a company ID pati employment contract. Kung valid pa ang OEC niya, di na siguro kailangan magbayad ng full amount. Kahit saan puede kumuha ng OEC, whether dyan sa UAE or dito sa pinas.

Sa tingin ko sis ms maganda kung kumuha ka rin ng OEC/OWWA membership to avail of the benefits of OWWA members. Tsaka the thing is.. nagtratrabaho ka, so technically you are also an OFW. POEA is not particularly interested on who sponsored you... mas interested sila on who you are working for. If you fill out an OEC application form, mapapansin mo na they won't ask for details about your sponsor.

^Kailangan yung OEC para exempted ka na sa tax. Hindi hahanapin yun sayo, ikaw magpe present non.

Pwede dito kunin or sa POEA mo kunin sa Pinas. I prefer dito kasi sandali lang.

hi ask ko lang ulit pag hinde ba natapos yung contract mo dyan need mo bayaran yung employer mo? kasi yung friend ko hinde maganda yung napuntahan gusto nya na umalis sa employer nya pero magbabayad daw sya mga 80k pesos para sa visa and plane ticket na nagastos sa kanya?

^Kung hindi siya umabot ng one year then yeah, dapat bayaran niya ang employer. Pero kung naka-one year na siya, di na kailangan... unless may company loan siya or other payables not related to visa costs, training, etc.

i just need an advise here....me and my bestfriend is planning to go there before march 2010.

ask ko lang po, if
1.visit visa is the same as tourist visa?
2.visit visa is through sponsorship din dba?
3. madaling po bang makapagapply sa call center jan?
4. usually po magkano ang salary ng BPO/ callcenter jan for just an overview lang.
5. any idea how much po ang 2 mos visit visa?

eto lang po kasi ang may edge ako to get an ok salary ( i guess)
i've been in the call center industry for 5 yrs now.
though willing naman ako to go in retail or sales jobs bsta good ang pay. That is enough for me to save and save before i settle down

help po. sana may sumagot

Yes... though only hotels and tour operators can sponsor tourist visas. Residence visa holders can sponsor visit visas as long as they meet the requirements.

2.visit visa is through sponsorship din dba?
Yes... dapat resident sila ng UAE.

3. madaling po bang makapagapply sa call center jan?
Madali mag-apply but the question is kung matatanggap. As far as i know, there are about 17 call center companies sa buong UAE... so limited lang ang choices mo. You definitely need a back-up plan kung sakaling hindi ka matanggap.

4. usually po magkano ang salary ng BPO/ callcenter jan for just an overview lang.
Depends on the company. Some agents get 1500dhs (roughly Php19K - tax free) + commission. Executives can get 4500dhs (Php57K - tax free). Companies can also provide accommodations and transpo to and from the office but this again depends on the company.

5. any idea how much po ang 2 mos visit visa?
Sis wala actually visa visa for two months... but you get a 1 month visit visa, then renew mo nalang to get another month extension. But... medyo malabo ito dahil everything that is Dubai depends on who you are, where you come from, and who you are talking to. In short... paiba-iba ang rules. Officially, only residents of GCC countries or residents of countries listed here can renew their visas... but some will say that even if you are not a resident of those countries, puede pa rin magrenew ng visa.

In any case, a 1 month visa costs around 100dhs plus insurance. To renew for one more month, a fee of around 620dhs is paid.

^^^in addition, para sa question # 3 mo, although merong mga call centers or offices that require customer service operators, isa rin na pwedeng magbigay ng edge ay knowledge in the arabic language.

meron po ba dito na nasa alhabtoor nagwowork?dyan kasi ako... i'm praying na tuloy-tuloy na toh... kasi last year naudlotdahil sa recession. i am just so hapi kasi kapag this would push through, hindi na ako magtourist visa,,, ito naman talaga first choice ko eh para wala masyado gastos... ayoko muna masyado isipin... saka na kapag may visa and flight schedule na ako. i really pray hard na matuloy tuloy na to.

I heard about Dubai not having any money to pay its loans anymore. Pati na rin ang Abu Dhabi, mas malala pa daw ang problema kesa Dubai. May immediate effect na ba sa mga foreigners dyan mga sis and bros?
