sis, she just had her 2nd miscarriage last Thursday eh.  Yun yung findings ng doctor kaya sa susunod, aagapan na nila.

to be exact, July 17 of last year ako nakunan, nagkaruon ako ng period after 1.5 months, that was mid September, then my OB advised me to take duphaston to regulate my period since naging irreg siya nun nakunan ako, Nov 4, 2009 was my LMP and took pregnancy test by Decmber which came out positive...

Eto, 28 weeks na...

Sana nga tayong lahat eh magtuloy tuloy na.. I will pray for all of us here.

i'm nearing my 2nd trimester already. I slipped the other day and though i didn't hit the floor, i had abdominal spasms after. A US the following day showed i am having contractions already. I'm on duvadilan now but i'm just afraid i'll have a miscarriage

^ sis, do complete bed rest.  and take all the precautions.  im prone to contractions myself while preggy and was never off from duvadilan.   meds, bed rest and prayers would take care of you and baby. take care!

^thanks sis! no negative effects naman on the baby? did you give birth via CS or normal? my doctor is extending my duvadilan for another week. yesterday i thought i was ok already for a quick lunch next door (as in go down the condo, then cross the street. 5 mins walking tops). we had to cut our lunch short cause i couldnt sit for a long time. i kept having tightening of the abdomen.

^ Hi Ally!  I suggest you do complete bed rest, which means stay away from the computer too.  Refrain from walking or standing up.  Has your OB given you toilet privileges?  In some cases, even that is bawal.

Duvadilan has no adverse side effects naman on the baby.

^i didn't get to see my ob, only his reliever. Per the doc i should get some rest but not strict bed rest. Try to avoid getting tired daw. Di ako mapakali just staying in bed so i'd sometimes get up and walk around the condo. I noticed though over the weekend, my abdomen would really tighten up when i start walking around. I'm seeing my ob tom. Hirap kc if reliever lang. Oh with the computer, i use a laptop in bed but most of the time i access the net thru my phone

^ Okay, avoid muna accessing your laptop.  My OB forbade me even to access the net before.  My problem naman was sub-chorionic hemorrhage and not premature contractions.  I dealt with 7 months of boredom.

^ sis ally, i suggest you take a complete bed rest like what our sis' told u...

contractions just nearing 2nd trimester is already a sign of pre-term labour, meaning in any way pwede ka duguin...

i suggest ihiga mo lang and put a pillow under your hips, para elevated siya... wag mo na intayin na duguin or magspotting ka..

sis, im telling you this di dahil sa tinatakot kita- ang hirap ng feeling na makunan and mawalan ng baby lalu at kun ini-expect mo...

sabi nga nila- laging nasa huli ang pagsisisi..

yun ob ko when i had those cramps di na niya ako pinapunta for check up instead my OB told me to take 1 week of bed rest and duvadilan, after 1 week of bed rest- di ko na nararamdaman yung contractions..

mas mabuti na yun nag iingat kaysa magsisi sa huli...

sis, hope youre better.  no negative effects naman sa baby with contractions and duvadilan.  im prone to premature contractions.  not just the tightening of the lower abdomen, may pain pa ko sa perenium on about 6mos of pregnancy.  im so scared.  i gave birth via CS due to other considerations.  but then, i followed OBs instructions na full bed rest, but w/ bathroom priveledges.  bear the boredom.  it would do yo well to lie down.  better put pillow on your butt then raise your leg once in a while. ingat!

Mga sis,
question lang:
1) gaano ba dapat ka-taas yung pillow na ilalagay under the hips when lying down?
my doctor said kasi 2pillows, parang ang taas! saka depende ata sa kapal ng pillow... para daw mawala yung mild funneling ng cervix ko, in addition sa duvadilan.
ang hirap ng may unan sa hips! nangangalay ang legs, dapat naka-angat din ang legs! tapos nung nag wiwi ako, parang may hapdi... baka related sa elevated hips ko recently.
2) ano ba yung dangerous na contractions sa tummy?
eto ba yung parang ang tigas ng tummy. kahit walang pain?  for some reasons, naramdaman ko eto the other day.  wala namang pain pero ang wierd na parang ang tigas ng tyan ko bigla... yun ba yun?
what i did is humiga ako ng maayos. naka half seating-lying down lang kasi ako bago ako tumayo then na feel ko yung matigas ang tummy ko.  actually, i am in bedrest fr 1st tri to present 20wks.

naiyak naman ako sa mga stories na nandito..

there was a time na i thought makukunan na ako kase i had spotting for 3 consecutive days nung 8 weeks na.. nakakatakot talaga.. nagpa check up kami ni hubby tapos magpa tvu/s daw ako kase baka daw ectopic.

natakot ako kase parang ang sa isip ko, hindi pwedeng ectopic si baby.
pagka-insert ng transducer, gulat yung sonologist kase buntis daw talaga ako.. pinakita nya pa yung heart activity ni baby pati heart rate.

gusto ko na maiyak sa sobrang tuwa, kala ko kase hindi sya totoo dahil unexpected si baby..

yes. and sobrang painful. kaya kong tiisin ang sakit ng needles, ng anti-biotics na nilalagay sa akin, ang anesthesia, and D&C, and mabilis ang recovery agad after ng operation... PERO--hindi ko kayang matiis ang pain na nawala ang baby ko, na 3months lang siya nasa tummy ko... hindi ko alam kung ano ang mangyayari sa akin sa mga susunod na araw.. iyak ako ng iyak.. natutulala.. ang hirap..

my first pregnancy and my first d&c.

march 19- first tvs. no heartbeat detected. est. 5 weeks ad 3 days.
                pinainom ako ng duphaston for 5 days 3X a day.
                suggested after 2 weeks tvs uli. baka maliit pa daw c bb kya wlng heartbeat.

then april 4- drops of brown spots... called my ob on april 5 may spotting p din kc. pero drops lang din. she suggested to have tvs asap.

april 6- 2nd tvs. no heatbeat pa din,  bb is smaller than expected. 6 weeks and 2 day. dapat 7-8 weeks na.. and bb is not in the right place. nasa lower part n ng uterus. conclusion nila, early embryo demise.

april 7-the next day sched na ako d&c.

hay~ this is fast! parang dumaan lang c bb sa tyan ko.. sad tlaga.

yes! first baby ko pa. sobrang depress sa una kasi di ko expected na makukunan ko kasi excited na kami magkababy. 6weeks - no heartbeat after 2 weeks inulit ko ulit yung TVS sa iba na ko nagpaultrasound para sure na hindi machine yung mali, pero same result. di ko lam kung paano ko napigilan luha ko nung kausap ko OB ko hanggang sa makauwi ako. 2 days after ko malaman saka lang ko nag pa d&c.

pero di naman ko ganun katagal nalungkot, siguro after a month ok na ko. inisip ko lang baka di pa right time, in His time siguro. 3 months after d&c preggy na ko ulit, super kaba ko hanggang sa mailabas ko siya, kung pwede nga lang maga ultrasound lagi para makita ko lagay niya sa loob.
