mga sisses, i've been looking for a short course on ID. La Salle pa lang natanungan ko, and the fee is 24,500 for 9hrs/6wks.
baka may alam kayo, not sure kung may short course offered and PSID.
nothing Pro naman, i just wanna learn ID.

nako sayang naman if you wanna learn lang. kasi matutu ka lang talaga pag nakatungtong ka ng major subjects. yung minors idedevelop lang yung style and skills mo.

So I have to shop with my ID to be able to use his/her discount?  Cash basis ba dapat or pwede card to avail of the discount?

di ko na gets.. but ummm, we share our designer's discounts to our clients. suppliers doesnt give it basta basta lang kasi. so a normal consumer/ non-id cannot avail them without their respective designers.

Hi sisses--hope you can help me. We are moving to an old townohouse that's been renovated and painted by the landlord. Problem is--yung paint na ginamit sa mga stock cabinets is glossy---sobrang kintab, sobrang old school. We plan sana to change the paint when we move in para naman medyo maayos tignan.

Questions:

1. Do we need to strip the makintab paint?
2. Do we still need to do the putty masilya all over again before we apply the new paint
3. Do we still need to sand the kintab paint
4. We plan to use a matte designer paint this time---any brand and type you can recommend? Where do we buy.

Hey there!  Anybody who can recommend an interior designer we can talk to regarding our new house?  He or she doesn't have to be anybody "famous", we just want some designing assistance.    And we are on a budget din kasi, medyo lost lang konti when it comes to finalizing what we really want with our space.  The house is just a simple and relatively small townhouse.  TIA!

If matagal na yang makintab paint in place ... you have to start all over again.
BUT if bago pa lang yan.. test mo in some discreet corner if kung patungan mo nang another paint eh ... it dries to your satisfaction.  Technically kasi, kung bago bago pa yan -- eh you just need to paint over.

The easiest way to get sound advice on the feasible options  (kasi gotta "see" the existing conditions eh) -- have 2 or 3 painting subcontractors take a  look at it.  Free naman ang pag estimate... that way, you can ask them why their estimate in terms of no. of days, materials and labor is such and such (or why their total charge, if lump sum quote sa yo) is such....  doon mo na ma getz what they will intend to do... then you have a choice if you will DIY.      

Just ask the right questions, kunwari clueless ka -- so you get the info you need to DIY. 

Pero kung yan eh strip and sanding pa and all.. have somebody do it for you. Messy.

If you are on a budget, it is an okay alternative to contact new graduates or those who are doing their pre-grad projects.  Hit the students or graduates of the top ID schools.  These new grads or soon-to-be grads are very eager to put clients on their resumes... so they are more receptive to friendlier prices.

CHERRYS -- there are certain big hardwares where you can even have your colors mixed.  Just hit the bigger hardwares -- they have all kinds of paints.  just be patient in shifting through their paint "
features".  Even within 1 brand, there are different "features"  per paint line.

Thanks, aquacharly!  Husband and I basically have ideas as to what we want for our house, problem is how to excute them and also where to actually source the furnitures and decors we want and need.  Baka kasi there are other alternatives aside from buying sa mga malls especially when it comes to furnitures.

Hiya! Usually basta "glass  and aluminum" stores, they sell those products. You can also check out MC Home Depot or Wilcon Builders. Prices range according to glass thickness, if tempered or not, and etching design if meron. Hope it helps.
