hi sissies!  would you know kung saan makakapagawa ng murang kitchen and closet cabinets?  ang mamahal talaga ng hpl modulars!  matibay ba pag made of plywood ang doors? thanks!

Hiya! For tipid-mode, you may hire any good carpenter  for the basic body of your cabinets, then just buy pre-fabricated kitchen doors usually available in Wilcon or MC Home. Kasi mas pantay ang gawa ng prefab doors. Pls. note of available sizes first para maicoordinate mo with the carpenter. Also, plyboard ( not plywood ) ang ginagamit for cabinets.

For modern themes (glossy solid color finish), meron din nagsesell ng customized prefab doors (accdg to ur required sizes). Hope it helps!

hi mga sis ano po bang wall color pwede imatch with pink carpet?yung darker color po sana for the music room.
ano rin po kayang color pwede for the built in closet if the wall is painted with light green?what about light blue?ayoko po sana ng another pastel color kasi baka magmukhang girly or nursery.

good thing i stumbled upon this thread! hub and i are moving in to our new house next week. But until now wala pa rin ako idea kung anong color ang i-paint namin sa wall sa living room. Sisses help naman, kasi right now all white ang color ng living room wall, then yung floor tiles is white na may stained gray. Then yung wedding portrait kasi namin na iha-hang sa wall is gold yung frame. Now, we're planning to buy a leather sofa na choco brown ang color. Ano kaya magandang paint namin sa wall, yung babagay sa choco brown na sofa and yung hindi naman magiging off yung pagka-gold nung portrait namin?

Should be tempered glass, not just ordinary glass for safety reasons.

If it is just a partition -- you can get estimates from home depot or glass supply stores.  That gives you a better understanding of how you will negotiate with your contractor for the installation thereof.

See how that glass partition is to be installed.  After you get an idea of how much your required panel will cost --  magka ka idea ka if  your contractor is overcharging you.  For a plain partition kasi --  you have to provide ridges/"canals" in the wall and the floor ledge that will make ipit and hold the panel upright (tapos, sealant is applied).

cousin ko yung arch kaya sabi nya kung anong gusto ko daw na floor plan imomodify na lang niya...

baka u have idea kung san ako pwedeng gumaya nga floor plans sa mga websites?

Would anybody know who did the interiors of Icon condos at The Fort?

The interiors were done by C/S Design Consultants, architecture by Recio Casas. I think C/S is the company of Anna Sy and her Korean/American partner.

good as bedroom partition? i dont want to put kasi permanent wall in between my bedroom and my daughter's bedroom. ok lang kaya yun? any pros and cons? appreciate anyones feedback. thanks

ask ko lang opinion nyo mga Sis. mas ok ba na pareho ang color ng mga furniture? so kung black yung tv stand and coffee table, mas ok ba na black din the rest like computer table, study table etc? plan ko kase repaint ng black yung iba na cream ang color baka mas ok tignan at mas classy. thanks

i have a sage green accent wall...anong magandang color ng kitchen cabinets?  i'm thinking white then countertop na dark.
pwede ding magkaiba yung color ng cabinet sa taas and sa baba ng countertop.

then yung kitchen cabinets ko kasi and closet cabinets e magakalinya lang yung locations...so i'm thinking na parang isang continuous space lang siya...na gagawin ko is same color for both...di ba masyadong pangit or overwhelming naman pag ganito? pwede ring masyadong plain and boring.

btw, my space is jut 30sqm.
i have chocolate brown curtains and my sofa is also brown.

plan ko rin to, sis si_ako. have seen in a lot of elegant pics of home interiors, maganda nga at malinis tingnan pag pare-pareho color ng furniture. eye-friendly.

^thanks Sis Frothe! that's the reason why i'm planning to change the color of my furnitures from birch/cream to all black. ang problem ko na lang is how to paint them na magiging maganda ang outcome at di obvious na sinadyang pinturahan. plan ko repaint na lang agad, wag ng i-sand mas matrabaho.

mga sis, i've seen couches sa our home. i just don't know which 1 to choose. black and the other 1 is dirty white. alin kaya mas ok? gusto ko kase sana "cozy-effect".. yun maganda ternuhan ng accent throw pillows and earth-toned curtains.. tia

^Black can be quite masculine specially if the couch is made of leather. Good thing about it is it can hide dirt better. The dirty white color is also good if you want to have that airy light atmosphere but requires much care. With the two color naman kasi, any accent will do, and will still arrive at your desired ambiance of "cozy effect" depending on how you accessorize.

If my personal condition will not apply though, I will go for the off white color since I like it clean looking and refreshing.

I have been to model houses where there is either black/light colored sofa and it evoked such timeless classic warmth. Talagang it all boils down to how you put the other pieces of furniture and accessories together.

thanks for your opinion sis. most of the black nga na nakikita ko is leather hence masculine nga ang dating. considering na pareho kami girl ng sister ko, medyo ironic siya. hehe... anyways, will still think about it. house will be finish in about 3 weeks so i better decide soon.

sanding it first is worth the effort. possible kasi magbukol or parang magmukhang plastic pag papatungan mo lang ulit ng paint. if necessary, apply putty to patch holes or uneven sections of the furniture before re-painting.

need help mga IDs... how do i make color/material board? where would i get color samples? pati yung material or texture sample na ididikit sa board? kung hindi naman ako gagawa ng board prior to scouting furnitures, appliances, tiles and paint, what would be the tips para maganda pa din tingnan yung mga pieces pag pinagsama-sama? tia

hi mga sis,inaayos kase namin yun kitchen ng lilipatan namin..naka tiles kase yun kitchen top..papalitan namin ng granite..would an ordinary carpenter know how to install it?i'm thinking kase it might need a special tool para sa pag install nun?kase kelangan sha butasan para sa sink..baka may maka recommend na rin po ng pwede gumawa..help pls.tia.

^ There are things to be considered when installing granite counter tops, the entire frame of the counter should be able to support the weight of this stone, if it is not properly installed it could crack during regular use.

You can get insights from your granite supplier. Maybe they offer the service since you definitely need professional installers for this matter.

mga sisses, ok [textspeak!] ba mag paint ng plain color sa isang wall, other exixting walls had textured wall (multiflecks). since multiflecks is phase out na, nanghinayang [textspeak!] ako ipatanggal [textspeak!] ok pa nman, one wall lang ang needed to be painted [textspeak!] pinaclose ko ang isang window opening, Any inputs on this?
