potty training kasi at the age of 2 dry by day and age of 4 dry by night naman.

for my baby at 1 year old binili ko na siya ng potty, before siya mag turn  ng 2 years old hindi ko na siya nilalagyan ng diapers hinahayaan ko lang na magkalat siya ng wewee. and nung 4 years old na hindi ko na din nilalagyan ng diaper sa gabi then kapag nagwewee siya nagigising siya so alam nya na nawewee siya minsan ginigising pa niya ako to tell me na nawewee siya.

according sa nabasa ko mas nagkakaroon sila ng awareness if nararamdaman nila na wet sila they know the feeling then kapag naramdaman ulit nila yun sila na mismo and pupunta sa potty, or kahit na pee na sila carry mo pa din sila sa potty paupuin pa din. so they know what to do.

may times pa nga na naglalakad siya papunta sa potty na tumutulo na yung wewee niya atleast shes trying. and thats postive thing

and also dont forget the token economy, everytime they pee on the potty or they woke up dry, praise them or give them price.

^ sis puyatan talaga for night time... tiyagaan lang. always check if nagwewee siya para hindi matuyuan. then pipilitin mo gisingin para mag pee muna or yung iba binubuhat tapos pinauupo kahit tulog.

Since working mom ako.. and night shift pa.. so mostly sa morning yaya kasama ni Reese and at night naman dad nya..

When she wakes up in the morning hindi na cya nappies.. She tells me "wee-wee" when tapos na.. so wee-wee hunting kami ni yaya.. kasi she wont tell us where.. Same with poop.. She tells me "Mommy poopies" pro meron na..

She is turning 2 next month..

Iam hoping soon ma train ko siya since she knows the idea na.. Actually yung yaya nya before magaling.. CYa nagturo k Reese ng wee-wee and poopies and since umalis na siya nahirapan na ako sanayin siya ngyn..

I started a thread before about potty training my son pero baka na close na...And I am proud to say that he is fully potty trained but I am still open to accidents as they are normal.

My son is 3yo and 8mos. I started to potty train him when after he turned 2, mahirap kasi iba yung sa lalaki..

Important point is watching signs of readiness... May nakikita na ako nun so we decided to buy the Cushy Tushy, yung liner sa toilet seat. At first hindi na work parang naninibago pa then we purchased a potty seat for him. Naka help din eto for me son as his step stool for washing his hands and foot rest pag poopoo na sa big potty(toilet seat). Mas ma relax daw yung muscles pag nagpoo pag may foot rest keysa naka hang lang yung legs.

Full time mom din kasi ako kaya I can observe his actions in a day. I also borrowed DVDs for him and I got one for free din from Pull-Ups training pants. Tapos I talk to my son din about potty na big boy na siya. Then  I read books to him din.

Ask din "daddy" to help kasi pag boy mas maka relate sila.

At dun ako nakapag decide to buy for him real under wears, yung mga prints na gusto niya. (Cars, Wall-e, Buzz Lightyear etc ) Tapos I eliminated the training pants na except for travel and when he's sick.

Yung real underpants, bed wetting siya talaga simula then I resorted to waking him after 3hours after siya makatulog., Mahirap but eventually masanay din yung bladder niya. If he gets cranky, I will just stay patient and gently tell him and explain na para hindi mabasa yung bed.
Later na masanay na siya, if he feels he needs to go pag gabi he wakes me up.

My son sleeps in his own bed and pag training talaga as much as possible meron liner yung bed niya para sheets lang ang palitan mo.

pasensya na kung mahaba yung post ko, but I hope this helped

I started potty training my son at 2.5 yrs pero hindi successful. So I stopped then continued again after a couple of month, still with no success, so i stopped again since I dont think he is ready. He is 3yrs now and we started potty training again. Sometimes he tells me he wants to pee, sometimes he doesnt, so very inconsistent. I dont put on pull-ups on him in the morning, sa gabi na lang. But when he wakes up, tuyo naman. Poop is a different story since even if he likes to sit on the potty, walang poop. If i put him on diapers, doon sa nag po-poop. I have to constantly ask him if he wants to pee otherwise he tells me kung tapos na.

Its very hard to potty train. My SIL tells me to just let it be since kahit hindi mo turuan, eventually they will have bladder control and will want to pee in the washroom since mahihiya na yan sa tao.

Nagtya-tyaga na lang talaga ako since I want him to be fully potty trained before the middle of this year, before he goes to pre-school.

@my_syd:  try ko  open ang faucet. ngek ayaw niya! siguro natakot kasi sobrang lakas ng pressure ng water.  pero she likes playing with the flush. flush sya ng flush kahit wala pang lumabas. pero siyempre di ko hinayaan. sayang naman the water. sa pagpoop lang talaga ang problem ko ngayon. she doesnt sleep with nappies na sa gabi. so ok na sa wee-wee. haay naku more patience pa.  :) iba-iba talaga mga kiddos. ang ate kasi  1 palang  wala ng nappy and at 2 potty-trained na. thanks to her yaya but she left na eh....

joshua was potty-trained ng 2.5y/o.

I started potty training my son before he reached his 2nd birthday. Puro wee-wee lang. I asked his Dad to teach him how to wee-wee the guy way. At 2 years and 8 months, wee-wee trained na sya.

Yung sa poo-poo naman, nahirapan ako dun kasi pag nagpopoo-poo siya at di nakaabot sa toilet, tinutukso siya sa bahay which is hindi dapat. Kaya it came a time na ayaw na niyang magsabi sa amin na gusto niyang mag poo-poo. What I did, kung nasa bahay ako, I closely observe him. Pag may time na nagstop sya at parang humihinga ng malalim, sinasabihan ko na syang - lets go sa CR (may potty chair sya pero ayaw niyang gamitin). Sa una, ayaw niya. Di ko pinipilit. Later on, nasanay siyang dinadala sa CR to poo-poo, kaya ngayon, siya na mismo nag tatanggal ng shorts niya tapos sasabihin na go to CR.

May accidents pa rin na nangyayari but very seldom nalang. What I want to train now is yung bedtime wetting naman. Sana completely diaper free na kami by age 3.

I have just successfully toilet-trained my 2-year-old son during the day.  He only wears his cloth diapers at nap times and at bedtime now.  Sometimes when he wakes up his diapers are still dry.  So I just take him to the toilet when he wakes up.

I practiced Elimination Communication, which is basically reading the signs that they have to go and encouraging them to do it in the toilet.

You can read about how I did it here:

My sons can regularly pee and poo in the toilet na.  Laki ng savings ko sa diapers.  Pag nap time and overnight and when we go out na lang.

To reward them, I got them cute briefs from Mothercare.

@Jai, may cute panties for girls sa Mothercare.  May Dora the Explorer pa nga.  Naka 40% off ngayon.  Try mo, baka ma-encourage ang daughter mo. ;)

^ Walang Mothercare diyan? The 7-pc pack costs P500.  Not bad, eh?

Cute ang designs and colors (okay lang naman siguro kasi little boys pa lang sila).  May safari animals, Thomas & Friends, Ice Age, Spiderman, cars and buses, balls, etc.

Hay, not fun ang potty training lalo na pag may accidents!  I should've bought those training pants at Mothercare. So after the accident this morning, bibilhin ko na talaga yun.

Nung tiningnan ko kasi yung training pants sa Mothercare may garter yung leg openings para tight siguro like diapers at walang "spills."  Hehe.  Tapos meron ring version na waterproof yung outer pero soft/cottony yung inner lining.  Yung panties kasi ng baby ko medyo loose yung leg openings kaya may natapon.  Ngi.  ;D
