Yes sis miming, maraming call center staff na hindi related ang work sa course na tinapos. Like ako, sa call center ako, pero BS Communication Arts ako graduate. Meron din ako mga staff ang ang degree - Engineering, NUrsing, Dentistry, Political Science, Biology.

Pero advise lang, usually, last option ang call centers kasi ang bilis makapasok. So, try mo muna iyun normal na job tapos pag hindi ka pa ri happy, saka ka mag call center. Although, kung gusto mo lang din ng work ngayon, ito ang madali. Pero most probably, night shift, variable rest day (meaning pwedeng split/weekday, etc).

1.)Suppose you see a coworker not following a safety procedure to save time, how would you handle this? What would you do?

2.S)uppose a passenger has had a too many drinks, he is inebriated and is offending other passengers. He asks you for another drink and you decline. He becomes irate and angry and tells you that he is a frequent business passenger and knows your senior management. He threatens to have you fired if you refuse to serve him. How would you handle this?

3.)Cabin crew are required to work weekends, holidays and evenings. Are you able to meet this requirement?

4.)What measures do you take to ensure passenger comfort and an overall positive passenger experience?

^ maliit may be relative.

do you know the industry average for the kind of work you do? if yes and it is low compared to that, you can be honest in saying that the pay is too low. it is one of your motivational factors so you're looking for another opportunity that is fulfilling and rewarding.

but make sure you know the industry average so you have basis when you say maliit ang sweldo.

hi sis! thanks sa response! my answer is yes and the reason as to why i said so is because in my present job, we have new hired fresh grads and the salary that our company offered to them is almost the same as what i am getting right now.

and another reason din is the salary i am getting is not enough to sustain my needs because i am supporting my 2 siblings' college education. im just not sure if it's to tell that to the interviewer.

sis clueless gusto ko lang mag kawork at alam naman natin na ang call center ang isa sa mga madali dali na job na mataas mag pa sweldo.  marami naman siguro din sa call center na hindi related yung course nila dun and yet dun sila nag aapply at luckily natatanggap at ngayon eh dun na sila nagwowork.  hindi pa kasi ako prepared mag work sa mga hotel at airports where in alam ko na dun naman talaga ako dapat.   

Sis - call center din ako and Communication Arts din ako graduate. The only difference is, I worked in an advertising agency before I entered this field. Anyway, going back to your question, pwede mo sabihin, "I think that if you look at the bigger picture, there are a lot of promise in the call center industry. I've heard a lot of positive feedback from my friends who entered this industry and I have been convinced that it is worth exploring. I have also been given feedback on the challenges in terms of work schedule and rest days but I think it's something that I can handle and adjust to, provided that it is one of the basic needs of the job."

You need to show them kasi that you are willing to take the good and the bad of the work. Hope this helped.

ask ko lang sana if ok ba na isagot ko na ang reason lang kung bakit ako aalis sa present company ko is because maliit yung salary? yan lang naman kase ang reason ko talaga. i've been in my present company for almost 4 yrs pero ang liit pa din kase ng salary. i've been promoted twice pero maliit lang din yung increase nung 2 promotions na yun. thanks!

hi sis... here's my experience on that... internal promotions are usually just small... usually mga 20% increase sa amin nga may mga nappromote na walang increase kasi daw 6 months after pa ng "trial" period nya on the new position... you usually get the high increase when you transfer to another company... ask around about increases within your company if you can para may comparison ka...

although that's your only reason, you have to give other reasons so that you'll leave a good impression on your boss... or just rephrase like the compensation im getting is low for my responsibilities and the amount of effort im putting in.

so the company is willing to pay sa rate mo sa fresh grads.  it is either bilib sila sa mga fresh grads na ni-hire nila or they think you are not qualified for a rais.

on the other reason na not enough to sustain your needs, unless minimum wage earner ka, para sakin ha, pag ako ang interviewer, di ko masyado gusto itong sagot na ito.

hi mga sis. i hope someone could help me. i don't know where to ask this and i've reading this thread at feeling ko magagaling kayo sa ganito.

i received a letter saying i do not have enough experience for the job i'm applying for. they are asking me to send a letter of appeal in 30 days. naku di ako marunong sa mga ganun, how should i explain that i sent the wrong application form coz nagkaron ng printing problem dito sa bahay so first page lang na-print. i signed it and asked my brother to print the rest sa office nya. he also mailed the application form that day so hindi ko na nakita yung iba.

so what happened was kulang yung work experience ko sa form. they are removing me from the eligibility list so hindi na ko makaka-receive ng job inquiries. haaay. please help me. thanks!

hi girls... questions, what would be the best answer if you resign your previous job in just 3 months? the true reason... maliit ang sweldo,overloaded sa work.of course you can't just reason that out on an interview parang bad pakinggan..any suggestions?

^think about from your previous job or current, it should be job related po nothing else well of course if u don't have any working experience at all, tell them something that "can or will" relate on the position that you're applying Good Luck

I didn't like hypothetical questions. I was dreading questions like "how would you describe a particular color to a blind person?"

Unfortunately/fortunately, I was asked that question more than a year ago and I answered: " My favorite color is purple. I would get a very soft pillow, give it to the blind man, ask him to embrace its softness and whatever good feeling he gets form that, that's purple."

Thanks to that question, I got the job and have just been recently promoted.

@glacy_rein - "why should we hire you?" is an opportunity for you to highlight your skills, show what you can bring in to the company, and present whatever value proposition you have.  Do not be afraid of this question, treat it as a window of opportunity.

A sample answer for this is: I have xx numbers of experience from _____ industry that strengthen my skill set. 

If you are a newly grad, cite an achievement during your academic years that you think can be valuable to the position you're applying for.
