@ maika14 I start baking kanina. It was a success I don't have parchment paper kaya brownies ang ginawa ko.  I made 2 kinds of brownies yung 1st is peanut butter with chocolate sobrang tamis kasi I followed the recipe. [textspeak!] 2nd naman, I altered the recipe and since naubos na yung chocolate ko naging peanut butter brownies na lang siya.  Mas gusto ko yung 2nd kasi it reminds me of the peanut butter cookies of good shepherd kaya lang pagkinakain siya kumakalat and medyo tuyo.  Do I need to put extra egg para maging mas moist or do I just need to shorten the cooking time or temp of the oven. For my both brownies medyo nagbrobrown yung sides niya.  Ano kaya solution dito? Sis kapag sa cookies paano ba kapag walang parchment paper?  Gusto ko magbake ng cookies eh.  ;D

Wow I've been looking for this kind of thread. I saw La Germania costs 10k at Abenson's but figured out that it's too much to shed off 10k for starters. Good thing, I know what brands are being used by our fellow Gtalkers/Gbakers hehe...

I got a 3D mini oven in 2002 for about P2000. It's only now that it broke, so for nearly a decade of service, I think it's done its job. I'm thinking of getting another 3D oven to replace it soon. :)

mga sis kakabili ko lang ng imarflex 3 in 1 convection oven! grabe sobra na ang minahal ngayon, P4575 ang bili ko sa sm appliance store! eto medyo excited, gumawa na agad ako ng cookies & cream brownies. nasarapan naman sila lahat sa bahay kaso parang di ako happy. ang ginamit ko na pan is 8x8 non-stick, ok yung sides nung brownies kaso yung gitna malambot at umalsa sya ng husto. di ko alam ano mali ko. in-on ko pala yung upper and lower rods then i set the temp to 160 degrees celsius, sabi kasi sa recipe 325 degress farenheit kaya ni-convert ko na lang. pag mas maliit na oven ba kelangan bawasan yung temp pati yung baking time? anyway, yung ready mix pala muna yung ginawa ko, yung betty crocker's fudge brownies pati yung ready made frosting dun ko din binili. sobrang tamis! next time ako na gagawa ng mix, hahanap na lang ako sa youtube ng madaling recipe.

hi sis! when i was using the same imarflex, ang ginagawa  ko when i was baking cupcakes, i turn the lower rods on for the first 10 mins, and then the remaining, both rods on. baking time would depend on what you're baking, and yung temp ko is at 160-170. hth!

hi!

mas mabilis ba ang cooking/baking time pag mini oven?
like if the recipe calls for a baking time of 30 mins in a regular oven, mas mabilis kapag mini oven?
parang may nabasa kasi ako na ganun but can't seem to find it.

thanks!

Hi! This is a very interesting topic. Been reding a about electric ovens, may pinamana kasi saakin but it was never used. It was given to me just a few days ago and I tried it just this afternood to see if it still works. my question is, are the rods suppose to shut off after a while? o baka may sira na yun? nung una sinet lang sa 10mins ( para nga lang makita kung gumagana). uminit naman kaso namatay din after a few mins pero malapit na din naman matapos yung time. so sinubukan ko lang ulit. sinet ko sa 15 mins pero umilaw lang ulit yung rods mga 5mins bago matapos yung time. confused lang if that was supposed to happen or it's broken. any idea?

I used to bake lecheflan sa mini oven at mas ok ang outcome compared sa steamer, low setting lang at 15-20mins luto na siyaa, kasya naman yun regular size na aluminum tray sa oven kya mas ok pra sakin, at sa mga nag be-bake ng cupcakes, dapat may measuring spoon din while putting it on the baking pan to make it sure na even ang height ng mga muffins at hindi dapat naka level sa height ng pan, it's better to make it half way. Try nyo [textspeak!]. :))

^ Hahaha! SOrry naman sis.. Naka phone kasi ako kagabi.. Nakasanayan na pag hawak ang phone eh napapa text-linggo ako. ;D

Anyway, ganito sya. (This works for me ok?)

1st Half ng baking time: Naka ON ang FAN and naka ON and lower HOT RODS, OFF upper hot rods (yung bakal na umiinit).

2nd Half ng baking time: Naka ON and FAN and naka ON BOTH LOWER and UPPER RODS.

The fan just helps in making the hot air circulate. Para walang hot spots sa loob ng oven mo. Iwasan mo lang na magbukas ng magbukas ng oven habang nagluluto while FAN is ON. Kasi ibubuga nya palabas yung hot air. Kung hindi mapigilan na buksan; lets say, you need to check doneness by inserting a toothpick, off mo muna yung fan before mo buksan yung oven then pagsara mo, ON mo na lang ulit.

Make a small batch muna para hindi sayang. Dont forget, wag mag estimate ng ingredients. ;)

hi maika14. my mini oven is a kyowa 35L not an imarflex so i don't have a fan. i followed however your tips on when to turn on the upper and lower rods and they worked perfectly when i baked my crinkles last night! thanks so much!

my first attempt was with macaroons pero nabake agad yung top ng macaroons pero hilaw pa yung loob so i thought yung style mo might solve my problem. true enough nagwork. thanks for sharing your tips.  ;D
