ano po use nyo to grease the muffin tin before placing the paper/cupcake liner? or di na po ba yun need?

and follow up question po, san po ba ilalagay ang tin? sa yung parang grill or yung parang black pan?

sorry po ulit sa noob questions  :(

Sis, I don't grease my pans for cupcakes, I use teflon pans kasi kaya hindi dumidikit yung cupcake liners sa cupcake pan ko. I don't grease din the above surface. Just put 3/4 batter to you cupcake liner para di umapaw.

Kung dalawa yun cupcake pan mo, you can put sa above at sa lower area. Para sabay na silang naluluto. In that way nakasave kana sa time at electric mo. Mas mabilis maluto yung sa above surface, direct kasi siya sa heat so after 15mins pagpalitin mo yung pans.

Don't forget to preheat the oven =)

NOTE: Muffin is different from cupcake. Muffin is kinda dry, heavy and bread like while cupcake must be moist and soft.

but bukas pa ako magbbuy ng muffin tin kc walang regular-sized na muffin tin with 6 cups nakabenta, yung meron lang ay 6-cups muffin tin but texas size -- ang laki!

pag cupcake, i use paper liners. pag muffin, just grease the muffin tins (i brush them with butter) para the muffin won't stick when done at para mabilis mo rin matanggal. :)

Salamat po sa mga sagot, mga sis!  ;D

Sa mga nag uuse ng the same oven po, normal po ba yung pag binuksan saglit yung oven para mag poke ng toothpick to check if okish na, parang di na bumabaga ang rods?

And wala na po bang ibang paraan para i-activate ang power ng oven aside from turning the timer dial?

^ The rods turns on and off to maintain a certain level of temperature. And when you open it, make sure you turn the fan off so as not to blow hot air out. Just turn it on when you close it again. HTH! :)

thanks sis maika14, it helps a lot!  :)

i'm happy to share na success yung muffins na bake ko last night and my father is demanding that i bake more kasi bitin daw yung 6 per batch of baking lang and mag wait na naman sa next hahaha and to think na akala ko ako lang kakain nun or mamimigay ako sa classmates ko just so that i could bake again and again  ;D

sis maika14, would you please share how ginawang 'double decker' ng hubby mo ang two muffin pans/tins and what materials use nya? i'm planning to do the same  :)

we were able to buy a mini oven na pala :D same principle lang naman kasi sila with the turbo at mas versatile pa.  ang dami ko na pwede ma-bake nito.  ang saya! :D  convection oven with rotisserie ito, 19 liters lang.  temperature settings at baking time, same lang sa turbo, you lessen the temperature by about 50 degrees Fahrenheit and cut cooking time by half.  at first, palpak yung cupcakes ko kasi linagay ko ang baking pan nearest the lower heating rod kaya sunog yung ilalim. ;D ngayon, alam ko na how to adjust the temperature.  i tried the chocolate cupcakes recipe that was posted by ponkan sa cupcakes thread.  success naman.  naka-on ang convection fan at lower heating rod. maganda yung shape at moist ang chocolate cupcakes.  sa turbo kasi, nasisira ang shape dahil siguro sa convection fan sa itaas.

@ sis lakwatsa: yung la germania mo sis, malakas ba sa kuryente? i'm torn if i'm going to buy the gas one, or the electric one. pati nakoconfuse ako. ang iba sabi mas even ang baking pag gas, yung iba naman mas even daw pag electric. haha. don't know which is which. i'm planning to use it for business kaya di pwede ang mini oven as much as i want one. hay. hirap mag isip! haha! thanks po in advance. :)

hi! am a newbie (in forums, sa baking, and here sa FN.) first off, thanks for this thread. am planning to buy a mini-oven, mixer and baking tools this weekend, and all 10 pages have helped me a lot to decide kung ano ang bibilhin ko at kung ano ang kailangan ko. :)

nandito na lang din ako, i have a question na din. i've recently seen some silicone muffin molds in the market. ishtupeed question siguro, pero safe ba gamitin ang mga ito? di ba sila masusunog? :))

thanks sis! isipin ko muna mabuti. plan ko kasi gawin sideline/biz ang baking kaya mapapadalas talaga ang gamit. the gas oven looks good to me, am just worried whether the temp will be consistent.

If you girls plan to use it for business, I suggest you buy the conventional gas oven since it has more oven space. With regards to consistent temp, I'd go for an oven that has fan inside. I'm lemming to buy one too since our gas type is so old na.

Sis jnpsamonte: Welcome to gt! :) Silicon cups are safe to use. Just remember to check the max. temp it can withstand which is usually stamped on the bottom of the silicon cups/molders. :)
