^^ if okay lang sa iyo, bake only half the recipe.  for example, if the ingredients require 3 cups flour, use only 1.5 cups, and so on...  that's what i always do :D

among the cheap(er) ones, ano ok? american heritage, kyowa, union? halos pare-pareho [textspeak!] mga price range ng mga yan eh...mga almost 2k for a 20-liter capacity ata, if i am not mistaken...

may nakita ako "wimpex" brand, rotisserie, toaster, bake pwede rin. not sure if convection type of oven though.

yung meron po mini oven ask ko lang kamusta ang electric bill nyo? hindi ba malakas sa kuryente? how often do you use it sa isang buwan?

sisses please help me, i tried roasting a whole chix and it turned out perfectly fine, pero when i bake choco cake, yung simple lang, di ko alam kung io on ko ba yung fan, sa rotisserie kasi dapat naka on sya, yung full blast talaga. sa pag bake di ko sya ON,

then ayun, sobrang palpak ang cake ko, mapait sya because of too much bakig soda then sunog yung ibabaw then yung gitna eh di luto,

hay!  eh napaka mahal pa mandin  ng mga gamit sa pag bake ng cake..kakainis, pano ba gagawin ko dun?  need pa i pre heat muna ang oven before ko isalang ang pan?

TIA!

please give me a simple recipe of choco cake, dami ko pa mandin kisses dun.

sabi kasi sa recipe , need ng self rising flour, wala pala nun dito, nag try ako sa sweetcrafts, sabi wala daw nun dito sa pinas, so nag gawa ako ng sariling akin, ayun mapait sya.

^ sis, may nabibili namang self rising flour. although it's rare din na makakita ako sa grocery. anyway, you can use this as substitute for every cup of self rising flour.

1 cup flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
mix everything lang and use just like SRF.

and yes, you have to preheat the oven. its best that you have an oven thermometer. baking is like science. we use certain elements kasi for it to rise (and sometimes fall hehe) so follow the recipe. one teaspoon is way different from one tablespoon. we cannot undo it. don't estimate the ingredients. use measuring cups and spoons. ;) you'll get the hang of it. doncha worry. ;)

:-/ so i can't answer that one. :)

^ ako kasi, i put the fan on. then yung first half ng baking, off yung upper rods. halfway through, both rods ON na. pag nag crust na kasi yung top part ng cake, hindi na cya magra-rise. i dont know with other convection owners ha? that usually works for me. ;)

sis maika:

Anyway, ganito sya. (This works for me ok?)

1st Half ng baking time: Naka ON ang FAN and naka ON and lower HOT RODS, OFF upper hot rods (yung bakal na umiinit).

2nd Half ng baking time: Naka ON and FAN and naka ON BOTH LOWER and UPPER RODS.

The fan just helps in making the hot air circulate. Kasi ibubuga nya palabas yung hot air. Kung hindi mapigilan na buksan; lets say, you need to check doneness by inserting a toothpick, off mo muna yung fan before mo buksan yung oven then pagsara mo, ON mo na lang ulit.

Make a small batch muna para hindi sayang. Dont forget, wag mag estimate ng ingredients. ;)

^ Yikes, sorry sis, walang nakasagot sa inquiry mo asap. :( Pero I haven't tried making lasagna using the instant version. If so, I think you should've put foil muna then kung luto na, tangalin mo na para mag brown yung cheese sa ibabaw. Na-preheat mo ba yung oven kahit sandali? How was it ba? Naluto naman?

Hi.  I bet the lasagna remained uncooked and makunat.  Am I right?  Hay, ganyan din nangyari sa akin, it was my second time cooking lasagna, I used the instant.  Lumambot ng konti but it remained uncooked.  Makunat.  Sayang tuloy yun ingredients for meat sauce and white.  Di biro ang magluto ng sauces ah.  It's a lesson for us not to use instant the next time around. :)

We have a baking oven here at home the size of a microwave oven (I'm not sure if you consider it mini).  It is an electric oven and the bill shoots up when it is used.  I wish there was something as small as that one that runs on gas.  I would want one to start my baking career heheh!
