Pixiedust: Sana you can do it regularly ulit, sayang yung effort mo dati!!!  :o

I really committed this time, as in I gave up on a lot of things so I can train kasi I need to lose 20-30lbs more kasi super fat talaga ako. I used to weigh 180lbs. I just hit plateau pero I din't mind the numbers kasi lumiliit parin ako. i guess I am at the point where all my fats are melting and turning into muscles. Lahat kasi ng damit ko pinaalter ko na  ;)

I also don't do diet, not the strict kind pero I steer clear from fatty and oily food, eat more veggies and less rice if kaya (although mahirap and impossible) hehe.

babykara: Your arms will tone for sure, esp if you tell your trainer and he'll make you do some strengthening exercise or circuit training. Ganyan kasi pinagawa niya sakin. Meron sa arms, legs, thighs, balance etc.

^oo nga eh. nanghihinayang din ako sa progress ko dati. but i'm also a little scared to go back full force. so i'm trying to do it by increments. mostly, work out at home ako ngayon.

I was inspired in this thread to take Muay Thai classes.
It's a very good work out regime and hindi kaw ma-bored while working out.
Thanks to this thread and you girls, I won't take slimming pills na and get that mental guilt and banter if mag-ggym ba me na super boring,  just lifting weights or doing forever cardios. :)

Anyway, I still have extra vouchers for that Ensogo promo on Muay Thai Class in Makati.
So, to girls who wants to join Muay Thai in Makati, please PM me for details.
Masasayang lang kasi to, I know malapit na mag-expire ( March 16 ), and madami pa to , so if you are interested PM me.

I can't make my own topic pa kasi in MarketPlace. Still newbie mode po :(

Tip lang for after boxing sessions, para ma-lessen yung pain / burn and "ngawit" feeling, try a vitamin with CoQ10 - it's an antioxidant that helps muscle recovery. Very effective for me is Immuvit - lalo na pag ab workouts time, kala ko hindi ko na kaya tumayo the next day!

^^^Muay thai is more difficult than boxing, super challenging yang sport na yan. I've been training for a year now and I've come to live with constant body pain, parang normal na sakin ang may bruise  ;) Super sulit lahat ng hard work, it taught me to be humble and simple. Super taas pa ng respect ko sa kru ko and other nak muays.  If only I'd come to love this sport, i would have learned this a long time ago pa.

For me muay is five times more challenging than boxing. I dunno about the cramps kasi with proper stretching, it should do the trick. Malaki difference kasi with muay, you use your elbows, and knees aside from hands and feet, that's why it's called the art of 8 limbs. You will also train barefoot. Give it a try sis, coz it's fun  8)

Depende. The first few months I had blisters on my feet pero immune na after that. Syempre if mali execution mo ng kick, tatama sa pads, masakit yun. Pero I haven't gotten any sugat bec I kicked incorrectly. Bruises from sparring, yes, because it's part of the sport. Pero if you train for fitness, wala naman damage  ;)
