I think Cherry Blossoms Hotel in Malate, the one near Robinsons Place mall, offers a lauriat package at 2,200 per table of 10 persons. Well that's for the wedding package.  I dunno for baptism though.

So I called up to clarify.  The rates in the website are not updated.

The new all-in package rates for Cherry Blossom Hotel are:

For Lauriat: P 19,300 for 50 persons and 32,500 for 100 persons

For Buffet: P 20,800 for 50 persons and P 35,500 for 100 persons

Amenities include:  Free use of function room for 4 hrs., free balloons (number depends on package availed), free cake (from Merced Bakeshop), free buffet and guest table centerpieces, free souvenirs (again, number depends on package availed)

if i were to choose, mas gusto ko talaga sa house nalang.. mas practical kasi.. atleast yung ma-save na money pwede pa namin ibili ng gamit ni baby.. pero mukhang hindi pwede sa house, under construction kasi daan samin.. ayoko naman mahirapan mga guests..

hi mommies, were scouting around for restos for binyag.  were looking into somethin' fishy or Dads' Edsa.  we want sana yung merienda buffet sa Dad's mega, but dont want to hassle guests to go to the mall. were looking into christ the king church or sanctuario de san jose.   Anyone who tried requesting the merienda buffet on Dad's edsa?  as per their website, pwede daw request yun. 

we had our baptism before at somethin' fishy and we were contented with the service and the food quality.  we just want to explore other options now.

Sis, nag inquire ako sa something fishy and im pencil booked for their lunch buffet (199/pax), though w/o drinks.  its from 11-1pm, monday to saturday only.  you can use their function rm for P500/hr.  though when i saw the menu, hindi namin gusto ni hubby yung combination.  might not push through with, check it out too.

so, we booked special baptism sa christ the king.  though mas mahal, we got the Dad's megamall merienda buffet too.  mas sulit at p180/pax inclusive of the bottomless drinks. Dad's edsa can offer it upon request but P240.  big difference.   were just hoping that i can get the function rm cause someone is booked ahead of me.  pag hindi, well opt for a reserved open area.  okay din lang kasi kainan lang naman and we dont have program.  di na rin ako nag inquire sanctuario, we liked CTK.

During my daughter's binyag, dun lang kami sa Macapagal.  Sa may Aling Tonya's.  Immediate family lang namin ni hubby.  No ceremonies.  Eat and run lang talaga.

ako 1 month na lang and wala pa akong nafinalize...
though I called ctk sabi naman nila na for baptism, you can go there 30 mins before 10am para magparegister. kaso kasi mas gusto ko hapon yung baptism around 5pm saka solo para diretso dinner na and hindi magtagal yung mga bisita. naisip ko kasi hassle lang sa visitors kung sa mall pa yung reception e... ok lang kaya? baka sa clubhouse na [textspeak!] ng village namin yung reception if ever... mas mura [textspeak!] kasi pag sa dad's megamall compared sa catering and magrent pa ng place db?

^ sis, last weekend ng oct.  sabay ng 3rd bday ng boy ko.  nakuha ko na yung function rm ng Dads megamall.  na book na namin yung special ng CTK.  pwedeng 500 downpayment to book the date you want, if special.  if yung 10am baptism, you can register on the day itself.

naisip namin yung hassle sa mall.  both hassle and hindu rin naman.  we would just be inviting the sponsors and us family lang ang sa church, 1.30 yun.  then sa reception na yung iba at 3-5pm!  sulit talaga yung sa Dads, la sila corkage if we bring cake, then di rin sila strict on other matters.  plus winner pa yung food.  im sure our guests wont find it a hassle.  we opted for a sunday, mas traffic kasi pag saturday.

check your option sis, sulit na talaga yun!

on Dads, panalo talaga diyan.. kaya lang if it would be a weekend, kung afford ninyo na hindi yung merienda buffet ang kunin ninyo, better kasi bago pa makaulit ang guests ninyo eh good luck... plus ang liliit kasi ng plate pag merienda buffet...

sis, Our Lady of Hope Parish ang pinakamalapit na church dun sa peach blossoms, kaso ang daan mo eh sa mismong papasok sa SM north, dun siya located sa likod ng open parking ng SM, katabi ng dating super sale na ngayon ay ginawang parking na. Another alternative is San Nicholas de Tolentino parish, ito naman eh nasa likod ng Cherry Foodarama, along Congressional Avenue. Lay minister father ko dito.

hello! nakavisit nako s peach blossom.. umm.. mukhang ok naman dun.. ang only problem is, possible na may makasabay daw kami.. so ang mangyayari share kami sa lugar.. naicp ko di kasi fix [textspeak!] # of guests namin.. ang plan namin is pareserve lang ng 70-80 guests then magdagdag nalang if kulang.. In case na may kasabay daw kami, mukhang di kakayanin [textspeak!] additional guests.. ska aprang mejo maliit [textspeak!] place.. huhu.. pero ok rin kasi mura dun..

ngaun, ang plano namin is baka sa kamayan west ave nalang... more or less 3k per table.. no drinks pa. cgro babawas nalang kami ng bisita... hehe

sis, thanks for this feedback.  we considered too the sunday crowd at mega, mega talaga.  though we opted for this kasi yung 100 guests namin, is family pa lang.  may additional pa na friends.  kaya ito yung swak sa budget.  ill talk again to the staff there at Dad's and ask for feedback about pag refill nila ng food.  naka attend na ko ng party dun on a saturday, okay naman. do you have any feedback too, pa PM naman if okay lang.  tia!
