naku... mahirap... kasi sort of you need a venue that is willing to have their venue exclusive for you... last week kasi, we tried na mag-ikot sa MOA, (di lang ako sure kung talagang naikot namin ng 10o%) for a client's 1st bday event, marami naman ang willing pero one hour lang po ang ibinibigay na preparation time to decor and they will still accept walk ins... wala namang mga resto na may separate function room...please correct me if i am wrong... ang alam ko po yung bubba gump dati pero nag-close na po yun eh.

sis trendy, 100pax max dun sa clubhouse sa may pool.. dun sa sky lounge naman nila, more on private party.. around 30 guests lang pwede dun...

we didn't ask for in-house catering and decor kung unclusive dahil meron na kaming caterer choice.. for the decors, kasama na sa package namin yun with our party planner... if you're interested with renting tivoli gardens clubhouse, i can ask our agent kung pwede ba ang hindi resident... or kung pwede mo gamitin in behalf of a friend na resident...

hi sisses....we went to Ah Sin resto sa galleria, medyo parfan gmaliit yung space at isang buffet table lang nakalagay...meron pa ba kaung suggestin na place near adsa shrine na pedeng gawing reception...thanx

Yup, it's really for small gatherings lang.  I think max that they can accommodate is 80 pax.  Kami lumampas, 90 yata.  All were able to eat to their heart's content.  But then, if you think it's small baka nga it's small for you...

me i was able to book don henrico's in moa for my son's baptism this coming sept. i think isa sa sila so kokonting venue in moa that accepts events like baptism. ok nman sya kc they will close the store for 2 hrs and mkhang msarap nman ang food ü

ay.. masarap talaga ang food ng don henrico's pero mas feel namin yung outlet nila sa west ave... kasi just like you said, iko-close nila yung venue for 2 hours lang which is during your event na... pero they are not still open to the idea na bibigyan nila kayo ng ample time and chance to decor as they are afraid na ma-turn off yung mga possible walk-in clients nila...

hmmm... a few weeks ago, we had a client na nag-hold ng 7th bday ng son niya sa 2nd floor...4pm ang schedule ng reservation niya... as early as 11am, my team as well as the couple (our client) were already there para pagtulong-tulongan ang pagsi-set up... may mga items kasi na sa kanila manggagaling to incorporate with the decors na sa amin naman manggagaling...

actually, it wasn't my first time sa venue... madalas na ako doon pero first time ko na sa amin ang decor...

i am not just sure kung ganito rin ang experience nung ibang naka-subok na sa kanila... pero heto yung mga nakakalokang experience namin...

1. wala silang manpower na puwedeng ipahiram para tulungan yung client sa pagsasabit man lang ng tarpaulin ng client sa stage area... even yung care taker na ang laki ng katawan, pinanindigan na care taker lang siya at ni ilabas lang yung ladder nila na made of heavy wood material eh ayaw gawin...

2. mababa lang yung wooden ladder nila (though grabe sa bigat)... may scaffolding naman sila na puwedeng ipahiram pero ikaw ang bahalang mag-assemble...

3. sa kanila ang food pero you have to pay for the rental fee... just the same, you also need to pay for the sound system fee kahit hindi mo naman siya gagamitin... 50% lang ng mga ilaw na nakakabit dun ang bubuksan dahil kung bubuksan daw lahat, that will be another fee...

4. white linen lang ang meron sila at kung gusto mo ng colored table topper, you provide it yourself... which my client did... when being asked na i-set up na nang maayos yung mga tables and chairs, the lady crew asked back the client "ano'ng oras ba ang reservation ninyo? di ba 4pm? 1pm pa lang ah?"

5. when given directions ng gustong layout ng client sa arrangement ng mga tables, medyo padabog sa pagmo-move ng mga tables

6. hindi puwedeng baguhin ang puwesto ng buffet table... when asked why, basta daw... gusto kasi sana ng client eh nasa likod sana or nasa left side ng stage para naman hindi yung pagpasok pa lang eh yun na ang nakikita agad ng mga guests niya.

7. when the client asked for the owner or store manager, ang sagot lang sa kanya ay "wala eh"... when asked kung darating ba and what time, ang sagot ay "di lang namin alam"

ayan lang po... when it comes to food... mas type ko ang dad's than cabalen... pero nang malasahan ko yung food dito sa tramway, mas na-appreciate ko yung lasa ng cabalen... just the same, taste is subjective... i suggest you try dining in first kasi yun din naman ang isi-serve nila sa event mo... no difference at all.

again, don't take my words alone... baka na-tiyempo lang kami... wait din natin yung feedback from other sisses natin na naka-subok na dun... i just felt responsible on sharing this one...

just the same, the best thing talaga is for you to be the one checking it for yourself... iba pa rin talaga yung personal experience mo than i-base mo ang judgement mo sa mga nababasa natin dito.... ;-)

i was able to attend a party at rustica.  masarap ang food.  medyo masikip lang ang place (or baka marami lang ang guests ng celebrant) and wala talagang designated area for the games.  basta naglagay lang sa center ng space for the magician and space where the kids could gather around.  That time, umulan so the space outside where the food carts were was not used.  But then again, sa food, masarap.  But like what the others say, you better try dining there first kasi nga taste is subjective   Kung binyag naman yun sa 'yo and kainan lang, i think ok sya.   if you'll have program, ask them to re-lay out na lang kung papayag para ma-maximize ang space

Help naman mga sis kung saan me mura at masarap na  pedeng mag reception gaya ng mga restaurant lang siguro. kasi medyo walang budget talaga. Mahirap kasi sa bahay walang place tska walang mag aasikaso. Actually december pa naman kaso db kailangan pa ng reservation. Para din kasi mahanda na namin yung money at place. Mga 70-100 pax [textspeak!] po. Thanks sa inyo mga sis.

sis, where do you plan to have your baby baptized? if you are catholic, pwede sa malate church. you can opt for aristocrat (daming servings) or max's. before kasi walang function room yung max's near malate church, ngayon meron na. mas mura ang baptismal package ng max's compared to aristocrat.

pwede rin sa by the bay sa mall of asia...they have a lot of paluto restos there. i attended a baptismal reception there once. kaso medyo maliit nga lang ang spaces.

Sa moa by the bay na paluto yung inasikaso ko na dinner para sa BIL ko last may. Simpleng kainan at kaunting games lang. Sa may baywok paluto yun pinareserve ko. Apollo name ng mgr. Si sheila of carmela fe ang nagballoon decor at si emily ng sugarbox yung sa cake.

ok dun pag gabi kasi d na masyado mainit plus pag may happening sa likod na area pwedeng added entertainment. D ko lang alam pag lunch time if mainit kahit pa may aircon kasi last december late lunch yung sa after xmas get together namin.

medyo mahal lang if puro seafoods kasi sa 60 pax umabot ng almost 50T nagastos. May big crabs, sugpo, lapu2x etc yung pinaluto ko. Mahal kasi ang rice /bowl (120pesos) e mga 3pax lang makakain if mga lalaki bisita karamihan

Nagpa-pencil book nako sa kanila for my kids’ party in November. This is an intimate party lang of about 60 pax and we’ll have no games naman so kasyang-kasya lang (maximum capacity daw nila is 80 pax). Their cheapest lunch/dinner buffet is at P280/head + 12% tax. Below is the food selection:

•   Grilled fish with toasted garlic, shallot and bacon
•   Vegetable ham medley
•   Beef casserole
•   Penne with Bolognese sauce
•   Chicken teriyaki
•   Steamed rice
•   Softdrinks and iced tea
•   Fruit salad or pastries

I guess the above menu is good na for its price and from what I’ve heard from others who have dined in there, masarap nga raw food nila.

^masarap dyan sis gusto ko luto nila. Yung ribs ok rin very reasonable pa ang price
