ask ko lang po sa inyo.. do you also teach or converse in Tagalog with your children? Or you all exclusively prefer everyone to speak to them in English?
I speak to them in English and Tagalog. Isa pa, mas madaling mag-transition from Tagalog to English than from English to Tagalog.
yetzkie, he's turning 3 diba? ok naman ba ang speech development ng baby mo? was he a delayed talker? wala ka ba naeencounter dyan sa US na mga pinoy moms who discourage their children to speak in Tagalog?
hi.. im a newbie here... my baby is 2 and 6 mos nah... delayed talker [textspeak!] [textspeak!]...may mga bby talks nman but not words... iv been very worried with his speech since there's no speech therap[ist here samin.. advice nman [textspeak!] to do or ano mga things na dapat gawin... btw... my baby has hydrocephalus and was operated [textspeak!] he was still 1.5 mos old... then later after a yr.. operated nman for meningo encephalucele... maybe that is y his dvlpment is slow... he's very active nman.... super hyper active nga eh... but that's my problem [textspeak!] speech nya nd he don't listen [textspeak!] i talked to him but i still talk though parang [textspeak!] akong kausap..
i think better go back to your pedia and ask them ano ba yung developmental delays you can/should expect... and which ones should get you concerned... mahirap kasi nagkaron ng medical conditon ang anak mo ehbut do continue talking to him lang... hold a running commentary always
