I have an important question. My fiance and I are getting married this October, everything is booked, we are both born again Christian. My question is, we are planning to get married in civil next month kasi kailangan sa papers. We already have a house, we have been paying for it for a year pero plano namin wag munang magsama until we get married in church. Sa ibang nag civil muna, tapos nag Christian wedding, may process or blessing lang talaga? Sa Catholic church alam ko may certificate silang binibigay. Sa Christian kaya? may requirements pa kahit you are already married?  TIA

I just got married last July 8. Christian wedding kami and we had it at Glass garden. Our pastor just texted us na may kailangan daw palang permit from the civil registrar if hindi kayo sa church ikinasal? In our case kasi,garden wedding siya. parang ngayon ko lang yun nalaman.When I was reading about Christian weddings kasi, wala naman ganung requirement can someone enlighten me? Meron na ba sa inyong hinanapan ng ganitong requirement? Tia!

Hi arowen, I think ha, dapat nung mismong wedding day nyo e naka handa na lahat ng documents para dun na nagka pirmahan tapos isubmit na lang yun dapat after the wedding day, kinukuha yun sa munisipyo or city hall I think. so baka hindi na prepared? usually yung mga church administrators nag hahandle nyan. Sila na mag assist sayo pano iderecho documents mo to be registered. Better ask kung sino pwede makatulong sayo within your church, unless you are not really their member, ikaw talaga mag asikaso nyan. Like punta ka na ng city hall, munisipyo, etc.. You need to know yung details like license nung nag officiate sa inyo, etc. @Andy2014 , kasal na kami civil and now we are planning for christian wedding rites, if nakaka request ka na ng marriage certificate na NSO authenticated, I think blessing na lang talaga.

Yung contracts and certificate, na ready naman. Parang first time lang din namin nalaman na Kailangan ng permit if you're gonna wed outside the church. Actually, pati yung pastor namin Nagulat nung hiningian siya ng ganung requirement kasi s ibang weddings na ginawa niya, hindi naman Yung hinanap

^^ should come from the venue san ka kinasal, sis. simple lang yan. state lang na kinasal kayo on that day sa venue nila. use their letterhead tapos may sign nila dun. ganun lang.

^^ hi sis arowen, Christian Wedding din kami sa San Juan. Sa Marikina kami nagapply ng marriage license. Upon release nung marriage license, inadvisan din kami na kailangan namin ng notarized letter of request sa solemnizing officer requesting na isolemnize yung kasal outside church. parang ganun.. tinulungan naman kami ni pastor na magdraft ng letter, then pina notarize. we also requested for a parang certification/acknowledgement from the our venue na talagang dun kami kinasal. lahat yun inattach namin upon submission ng marriage cert. I'm not sure kung ito bang mga documents na to ang hinihingi din sayo.. I hope nakatulong.

^same tayo sis ystariray although hindi saken dumaan yan sister in law ko umasikaso nyan pina asikaso sakanya ng church, pina pirma lang kami sa letter na ginawa nya tapos pina notarize nya. Ang alam ko dapat alam yan ng church/pastor na mag kakasal sainyo sis.

Thanks mga sis! Na ayos ko na. Actually, our pastor advised us to get a form daw sa civil reg. pero pagpunta namin sa civil reg, [textspeak!] daw ganung form. Kailangan nga lang daw ng letter from the venue with their letterhead as proof that you were or will get married there, and notarized letter of request to celebrate marriage outside the church. Kung nabasa ko agad mga replies niyo, hindi na pala ako na hassle pa pupunta sa city hall. Hehe

Mga sis, I just called Union Church and said that at the moment the fee is 31,100 which includes the AC, grand piano/organ and PA system. No flowers and can accommodate 700 people. =)

Hi sisses! We are having a Christian wedding too. Our venue for ceremony and reception will be on the same place, just different function hall though. As for the entourage, we have 12 pairs of principal sponsors,  1 moh, 1 bm, 1 brM, 1gm, 6 pairs secondary sponsors,  4 bearers and 4 flower girls. Our flowers girls will be our girl cousins who are teenagers. Our wedding will be next year in June so I am scouting fot suppliers now with the help of my coordinator.

^^I also wanted UCM for my wedding. Located near the Makati hotels so it was on top of our list. Eventually went with Holy Trinity Church in Forbes, kasi gusto namin may dramatic door opening photos, in case that's also part of your considerations

H2B is a christian and I'm a catholic. We already booked almost everything and will have a christian wedding in Antipolo. We are both from La Union and currently working in Manila. Unfortunately, H2B's Pastor in La Union can't officiate our wedding in Antipolo since his license is only within Region I. 
Meron po bang may kilala na pastor that can officiate our wedding in antipolo?

jklenz may "branch" ba yung church ni h2b mo dito sa ncr? or baka pwede kayong humingi din ng referral dun sa kakilala nyang pastor sa la union ng tagadito at pwede ding mag-officiate ng wedding.

if you're thinking of getting a pastor na hindi ka-same denomination ni h2b mo, may mahahanap naman kayo. you can ask for referrals kung may coordinator ka na. check mo lang kay h2b at sa family na din nya siguro kung ok lang na ganun. meron kase na dapat galing sa same denomination talaga yung officiant. mejo general kase yung term na "christian wedding" dahil maraming christian churches pero they go by different names pa rin.

just a question. diba sa Catholic may missalette which contains the programme proper of the church.. sa Christian din ba meron or may counterpart ba sya? or is it okay kung wala namang programme of sort during the ceremony?

hi mga sis. I just called Holy Trinity church and asked how much sa kanila 50k daw then refundable yung 5k good for 3 hours. Di na namin sisilipin yung church kasi una mahal, pangalawa ang taray agad ng secretary sa amin via phone. Gusto ko sana kasi parang chapel lang siya good for 250 people
