^sis may nag mention before dito ng Laura Mercier duchess rose, muted red din siya like Dolce Vita lip pencil. you may want to check it out i have to agree sa Dolce Vita lipstick, maganda siya sa tube but ang sheer kasi niya for me, or dahil pigmented lang lips ko kaya hindi ko ma-appreciate ang color. haha.

Will try to swatch and compare the laura mercier duchess rose with my nars dolce vita. Ill let you know if they are almost the same or same. Nakakahinayang kasi yung price dahil ang bilis maubos nung pencil ko...

Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in Honey is a nice, inexpensive mlbb for me too. Ayoko pa nga sana itry as I had reservations on the quality, buti na lang I got it. It's moisturizing and it stays on the lips for hours. Also, smooth, dewy and seemingly walang lip lines when I use this.

My MLBB is MAC Cosmo! It's the first MAC lipstick I ever owned and it's amazing. Great finish too!

I tried layering Mehr over Nars Volga, and I really love the effect.

Tip if you want the sort of shade from Period films, try layering your regular mlbb pink or even a nude pink over a deep berry shade, it will come off as a mauve-y shade that's relatively close to your lip color but darker.

Ok na ako with LM duchess rose and burberry pink amber for my period film lippie.

I swatched duchess rose and nars dolce vita velvet matte, and mas rosier and slightly brighter si duchess rose, kaya mas ok din for me. Another option is laura mercier Audrey, which is slightly darker and browner than duchess rose.

^ napag laroan ko lang kanina when I was supposed to wear Volga pero nagbago isip ko. Haha! But now that you mention it, parang interesting yung Duchess Rose! Yung Pink Amber naalala ko before di ko masyado nagustuhan kasi parang may tinge of coral?

When I bought laura mercier cake eye liner two weeks ago I also bought duchess rose ( na enganyo ako Kay sis wicked witch, hehe ) maganda nga yung color pero what I like most about it maganda ang texture hindi nag settle sa lip lines ko at hindi drying. This is my first LM lipstick kasi kaya definitely I want to try their other shades next time.

Glad you liked it sis! I feel na underrated and LM lipsticks, marami silang magaganda na shades leaning towards MLBB, it's just a matter of finding the right fit. Hehe. Wouldn't have discovered duchess rose kung hindi dahil sa SA na nagpumilit sa akin na perfect shade yon
