Mahal ang bahay dito...500 sgd for a common room, minsan meron ka pang ka share nyan.. plus utilities pa yan...then you have to think or transpo, utility, phone bills, etc etc......... unless of course sagot ang board and lodging mo...

hi sis i checked out online palm vista and mukang ok naman especially na SGD1,100 lang ang price for a 3 bedroom but i suggest magrent muna kyo ng room for short term basis then if nandito ka na sa sg check out the place. hirap magcommit if you haven't seen the place
but what i can say is malapit sya sa eunos or kembangan mrt pero you still need to take a bus siguro mga a few stops before reaching the mrt.

for me kase nakatira ako sa tabi ng kembangan mrt kya mostly sa east part of sg may alam ako dyan

super tipid mode ka na po for that kind of salary and that's a working permit only. S pass holders are SGD1,800 to 2,200. if magpapadala ka pa sa pinas then a safe number will be SGD1,800 but i suggest you find a room mate. once a month lang ang sweldo so budgeted yan

sis amnesia, $1,100 for masters bedroom lang yun? kung ganun mare, ang mahal! hahaha.. super mahal nyan para sakin kung wala ka ka-share.. kung may ka-share ka, baka pwede na pero makakakuha ka ng 500-650 na solo mo ang masters...

sis LoSiNGGRiP, sa 1.2k a month na sweldo, pakiramdam ko hindi kakayanin sis... para ka lang nagtrabaho dito at papadaanin sa palad ang pera... sa pinas you can earn around 30k pesos din... sa tingin ko lang po un.. pero kung may asawa ka na may work dito at tulungan kayo, 1.2k is fine po..

^^^ Sis alexme it's a 3 bedroom apartment. Pero the S$1100 is para sa Master room lang. Tapos if Palm Vista is about 1.5KM to Kembangan MRT! Waaah! Patay naman ang heels ko nito. Chus!

^^ Sis yapeegurl , the Master room ensuite will be for me and my BF. I think we will take a chance na lang pagdating namin saka na kami maghahanap. Mahirap na madenggoy =) Saka iba talaga yung makikita yung place muna before mag commit.

sis amnesia, ang mahal nga nung 1.1k na master's bedroom. kung 40-30-30 ang sharing, 2750 ang rent ng buong unit. i've seen ads ng palm vista na 2.4k lang ang rent ng 3br
you can also try searching sa propertyguru.com.sg. i like this site kasi may map view. may idea ako gano kalayo sa station at sa work ni hubby. i can also see other condos/hdbs na kalapit and i can compare the prices.

sis rockyroad kaya di marunong yung mga driver kasi biglaan naman kaya yung ginawa ng smrt na puede na ang exlink sa taxi. kami din nangyari yun ayaw gumana ng card reader nya ayun instead na kami ang magreklamo sa driver, yung driver pa ang mas naunang nagreklamo samin.

mahal nga kung 1.1k tapos master's bedroom lang tapos condo unit pa. sa pagkaka-alam ko halos lahat ng master's bedroom ng hdb flat meron ng sariling bathroom. mas makakamura ka kung hdb flat master's bedroom ang kukunin ninyo.

sorry kala ko for the whole unit kung masters yan mahal yan. masters bedroom namin its about SGD1,200++ nasa condo and tabi lang ng mrt as in 10 steps away lang hehe.

i think nagmahal din ng kaunti yung mga hotels coz gss nga.

so i suggest maghanap muna kyo ng short term w/o contract para macheck nyo yung future place ninyo pagnandito na kyo.

i know maraming nagpaparent nun. nung date sa hougang kame then after a month nakahanap narin ng new place.

sis amnesia, suggest ko na itry nyo short-term muna magrent. or kung may time ka pa, e itry mo pumasok ng maaga fr your chosen apartment to office, then itry mo din fr your office to chosen apartment.  dun mo makasabay ang see ano itsura papasok or pauwi kapag rush hour.

as for wearing heels, lagi din kasi ako naka heels, kaya hindi ko talaga gusto magtrain. kahit pa malapit sa mrt ang house, feeling ko, ang hirap parin maglakad sa init/ulan with heels. 

kaya at the end of the day, buses parin ang sakay ko.  just have to make sure na malapit tirahan sa sakayan.

asawa ko sa barcap, GSC dept. sya sa windows server team. iba-iba talaga sila ng shift, may day shift (asia), night shift (US), at london shift. uber sa stress yung work nila dun compared sa ibang team ng GSC. lalo na kapag may issue na na-escalate. naaawa na nga ako kasi wala ng ibang bukambibig kapag nag-uusap kami online kundi, "eto stressed sa work." kaya sabi ko wag na lang nya banggitin na stressed na sya kapag kinakamusta ko dahil alam ko naman yun eh. kaya sila sa team nila "pera-pera lang" daw ang motto kapag start na ng trabaho.
