^^^^sis mai, mas ok angpao atleast magagamit nila sa kung ano talaga kelangan ni baby. ng 1st bday ng eldest namin karamihan damit kasi alam nila na aalis din kami. yung ibang bulky gifts medyo hassle at mahirap dalhin.

My son's 1st bday will be on Oct 16. Theme will be airlines/airplane theme.

Already preparing for it, dami ko nga natutunan na gimiks here in GT eh...and MORE to come.

Kulang ko is a balloon plane or something like that para ikabit ko sa ceiling ng venue. hehe

hi! update ko lang. earlier in my post i said that i am getting a clown and a magician for my son's birthday on october. kaso his pedia advised against it. sabi ni doc para di ma spoil ang party dont go for clowns daw kasi kahit toddlers they get scared of clowns daw. good thing i found a supplier here in cebu who have professional hosts in costume. next time na lang siguro yung clowns..

actually sis maia_iane, takot nga ang eldeast son ko sa clown. Ayaw talaga niya until siguro 5 na sya. And you are right, pag malaki na ang mga kids sila na talaga pipili ng theme nila, kahit gaano pa kahirap hanapin ang mga items.

theme ng son ko mickey mouse. Dami kasi sa bahay mickey mouse items kaya siguro naging gusto rin nya kasi lagi nya nakikita. Eldest son ko gusto kung fu panda, favorite nya. hays, ang hirap maghanap ng mga items kaya bahala na si batman. pero may mga nakita rin ako.

^talaga sis jan. buti nga sayo na overcome na ng baby mo ang fear of clowns by 5 yrs old. i have a friend na until now takot kay jollibee, and she's 23 yrs old na! OT na yata. but back to the topic, im now thinking of getting big coloring books and crayons as giveaways. but im still looking for a supplier that can help me make the packaging according to the sesame street theme. hay, kaka paranoid..2 months to go na lang!

my 2nd daughter's 1st birthday will be next jan, 2010.. as early as May this year nag start na ako mag prepare. for me, gusto ko yung semi-bongga pero hindi naman ganun kalaki ang expense... you can always make a party bonga sa mga affordable ways.. ako so far both of my 1st party sa daughters ko ay sa clubhouse lang, iba kasi talaga pag chinese resto (we are chinese) at lauriat eh, mahal talaga.. pag clubhouse, i get to enjoy pa the planning sa decors, enterntainment, food carts, etc 2nd party naman ng eldest ko fast food lang kami the favorite -- jolibee hehe

Hi mommies! im not new to GirlTalk (I just cant use my old username anymore) but Im new to this thread. Ang dami kong natututunan dito! I'm overwhelmed with ideas. We're two months shy from our daughter's first birthday. Dami kong gusto pero sobrang hirap i-execute since we live abroad. Inggit nga ako sa inyo diyan sa Pinas because you have all the available resources/suppliers. Dito, DIY talaga.

Anyhoo, our theme is Tinkerbell. my father-in-law's going to the Philippines in September and gusto ko sana magpakagawa ng tarpaulin and invitations. Any recommendations?
