for those na December ang events, bongga or simple, as long as di-depend pa rin kayo sa mga suppliers or events planner/organizer, we strongly suggest you book yours na as early as possible kasi po nagkakaroon po ng mga rates/price adjustment ang mga items and/or services during December... yung iba nga po, October pa lang, nagtataas na... then January or February na ulit babalik sa regular rates.

yung iba naman pong mga establishments or organizers, nagli-limit ng bookings to accept pag December to avoid some risks...

Mga sis I need some feedback kasi my Baby is turning 1 this coming Sept and I'm thinking of celebrating it with Host like Jen Belen and medyo Bongga kasi syempre 1st Birthday and kahit di pa nya alam paglaki nya me ikukuwento ako sa kanya and me makikita syang picx nya nung 1st bday nya. But then hubby is thinking if simple nalang daw sa house nalang with Close friends and relatives. What do you think? I am more of di na kasi maibabalik yung 1st Birthday nya so I want to celebrate it talaga ng maganda. Please help. Thanks!

Sis, I think if there's unlimited budget, go and do as you please! Hehe. Seriously, kahit sinasabi nilang mahirap ang buhay ngayon, we opted to celebrate our son's 1st bday party in a slightly bongga way. Not too grandiose, kasi actually I sought for friends' help (especially for the unique invites and AVP) and resorted to buying prizes at Divisoria although I bought most of the items at the mall. I believe kaya mo naman mapaganda at gawing mukhang bongga ang party ng baby mo. Tama ka naman, it just comes ONCE in your baby's lifetime. Mas maganda kung gagawin mong memorable. I just want to share some tips lang:

- As much as possible, involve yourself not only in the planning but also in the dirty work. What I mean is, yung mga stuff na pwedeng ikaw ang gumawa, gawin mo. For instance, sa ticket invites, I searched the Net for a layout na pwedeng i-modify sa photoshop. I had my officemate assist me with the editing. Then I painstakingly cut all 50 of them, then made some little "cut marks" for a perforated effect at the bottom kasi parang admission ticket yung style ng invites. The visitors thought I had it made somewhere, na nagpa-print pa ako. But NO. I spent only for the paper.

- Try to barter. Example, yung sa balloons, I bought some sa Divisoria and had the people in Max's Resto (where my son's bday was held) make it to 2 balloon pillars. Nakatipid pa ako kasi the balloons costed around P200, hindi na nila ako siningil ng labor fee kasi I willingly gave them all the balloons eh marami-rami rin yon, konti lang naman nagamit sa pillars. 

-Do everything ahead of time para maiwasan ang cramming. This way, mas marami kang magiging options. You will be surprised that you will have plenty of choices-- kailangan mo na lang magdecide which suits your needs. Just make sure yung less expensive but quality ones ang pipiliin mo.

In my case, pinaghandaan ko talaga yung 1st bday party ng baby ko, kasi nung binyag niya hindi ako nakapagplano. Mahal nga rin ang nagastos namin don, around P45K, wala pang program yun ha, food pa lang, at konting decor sa venue. Konti lang rin ang nagpunta sa reception. Basta i-finalize lang maigi ang guest list para ma-monitor mo ang head count. Malaki rin kasi effect non sa pagbabudget for a party. Ang dami ko nang sinabi. Hehe. Hope this helps, sis.

sis same venue kami, sa prestige. naisip ko din nga fastfood party kami kaso di pwede kasi kulang ang time kung isasabay pa dedication. what we did, for godparents and immediate family yung dedication before the party proper started. okay naman kinalabasan:)

my baby girl's bday is on august na.. however, wala pa kaming definite plan kung san ang party.

since she's young pa and around 10 kids lang ang guests, i'm planning a party na more of for adults. any venue in mind?

my husband and i are eyeing some bars or resto like don henrico's, dencio's, gerry's but we like kamayan megamall the most. kaya lang i'm still hoping to find other venues that offers the same service for less...

prob kasi yung big family ni hubby and visitors nila na umaabot to the nth degree. i have a gut feel that they will go there though uninvited by us kasi for sure, my in-laws will invite a lot of peeps but i told my husband to talk to them kasi ayoko na [textspeak!] nangyari like nun baptism ni baby na super dami ng tao na nun ko lang nakita.. i want her party to be a fun one because it will be spent with our close friends and workmates..

as for the babies not knowing what is happening, this is true BUT everytime my eldest looks at her album super happy talaga sya! it made all the hard work pay off

^^naku totoo yan, dapat even lang sa parties. kanina naguusap kami husband ko, he was asking if our 2nd daughter will also have a party just like her ate's and talagang i said yes. ganoon din sa baptism ngayon na pine-prepare namin for her. para walang selosan and we love them equally naman talaga.

i think naman what we spent for joehna's bday was all worth it because she had a great time in her party. nakipag-mingle siya and she was awake and smiling the whole time. ang bday avp nya super gasgas na kasi not only 10x a day nya i-watch. kanina i got her 1st bday video and we watched it together, very behave siya sa bed sitting lang and laughing lang. katuwa  i really have to choose pictures for her album already para magawa na and matignan din nya.

hi! my daughter will turn 1 on september 27. syempre super excited lahat kasi first baby eh. first apo pa! i'm already booked at Tom's World Robinsons Galleria. Sa tingin ko mas fair ang price dun compared to Active Fun sa Tiendesitas. They also offer ride all you can tags. and what's nice is they already have a host and magician with ballon twisting sa package. may option ka pang kumuha ng food sa affilliates nila such as: mcdonalds, chef d angelo, shakeys, kfc. but the food is not included in the package. i just hope na maging ok party ni baby. meron na ba dito nakapag party na sa Toms World? feedbacks/comments naman po. thanks!

good afternoon, please also help me to decide my baby is turning 1  this coming September 8, I still thinking kung ok ba sya sa Fixie Forest, SM Storyland or sa clubhouse, taga Calamba kami, parehong nasa Manila ang aming mga partidos, plan naming gawing Saturday Sep. 12, gusto ko talaga sa Clubhouse sa amin problema di pa tapos ang construction and even the administrator have no idea when it will be finished mukha kasing one year in the making. Isa din sa worry ko baka umulan that time kung sa clubhouse kami sayang naman di rin makakapag enjoy. kung sa Storyland or FixieForest limited lang ang oras ng party the rest Rides na gusto ko kasi mas mahaba ang party. ang hirap mag isip ano. please help.

Sis, depende kasi sa preference mo at sa # of guest mo. Ako mas gusto ko sana sa clubhouse na lang but it seems di kasya. guest list ko nasa 250pax na but will try to trim down to 150.

We also checked pixie forest pero mukhang masikip. Storyland malaki pero 2hrs lang partytime. Gusto kasi ni hubby, medyo mahaba party time. If you want worry free packages. Ok yung packages ng storyland.

You might want to check also Star Mall Alabang. Ito na ang tentative venue namin, naka pencil book na kami for our daughter's party on Jan. May mga packages din sila pero meron din silang function space for rent na may capacity na 500pax. but u can rent half of the space for 5k.

We choose this place kahit taga cavite kami kasi most of the guests are also coming from QC and Pasig.

my daughter is celebrating her 1st birthday in december and as early as april, i'm already scouting for ideas and suppliers. my mom keeps telling me na simple lang dapat ang party kasi di pa naman naiintindihan ng celebrant. actually, i'm planning to have a simple party lang naman, limited din kasi ang budget kaya lahat ng pwedeng tipirin pinag-iisipan ko. kaya lang feeling ko, mas magiging malaki ang expenses kesa nung 1st bday ng eldest ko because like for  example mas madami ang foodcarts ko kesa dati (cotton candy lang before), mas mahaba ang guestlist ko, two ang cakes (birthday din kasi ng eldest ko is december), plus may kid's activity din sa party na wala nung 1st bday ng eldest ko. but i think and hope that i will be able to stick with my budget. hirap na din kasi ng buhay ngayon eh.
