swimming party

hi mga sis! need your help, insights about this. my child will be celebrating her 7th bday this may 27. i'm planning to have a swimming party since she loves water so much! we are expecting around 150 guests.
i have several questions lang:
1. any suggested venues around pasig, antipolo, greenhills or makati area? please include the price and contact info.
2. do you run any activities or games? did you hire any party host or magician?
3. what give aways did you provide to the kids?

^ i provided a host with my son's swimming party last year.  there were games and a magic show as well.

as for the souvenirs, i gave away water guns, inflatables, and other stuff that are pool related.

sis ako din naghahanap ng venue para sa pool party ng daughter ko pero sa august pa naman birthday niya. qc and manila area kasi ang target namin. try mo sis mag search sa google kasi last time may mga nakita ako sa antipolo area. so far kasi ang may mga contact info ako na places are here in manila in qc.

with regards to activities balak ko maghire ng magbaballoon twisting tapos glitter tattoo. mostly ang games ko baka sa pool na. sis nagsasale ang toy's r us trinoma ng beach ball tsaka salbabida. nakabili ako last time 20php lang medyo namakyaw na ako hehe

why don't u try patio jose... yung kay jose manalo... it's located at #8 matahimik st v. luna quezon city... may multiply site din sila...

^dun ko din nga balak kaso 'nung napuntahan namin sis mukhang magkakaproblem sa parking kasi wala talaga silang mai alot na parking for guests. although kung family bonding/get together lang i would recommend the place.

hi sis. eto complete turn around ang party. decided to do it in kids at work na lang. yung bday celebrant pabago bago ng isip. nagsawa na ata sa swimming pano these past weeks nagkasunod sunod swimming namin. so para maiba naman we will do it in kids at work.

our venue (indoor pool) is good for 5 hours.  which should i do first and gano katagal ang time na i-allot ko for each if i want na may:

1. cake blowing
2. song number by my little sister (mga 3 songs?)
3. eating time (complete meal buffet--not merienda buffet)
4. free time (swimming & videoke for adults)

wala naman akong iha-hire na magicians and such kasi 1st bday pa lang naman so hindi pa maapreciate ni baby yun.  ano kayang time ang magandang i-set for the party?

hi, sis wkt! may i ask saan ang venue niyo? i was thinking of giving that kind of party for my turning 3 year old son. and his birthday is 2 weeks away na lang....thanks...

^dun ko din nga balak kaso 'nung napuntahan namin sis mukhang magkakaproblem sa parking kasi wala talaga silang mai alot na parking for guests. although kung family bonding/get together lang i would recommend the place.

my daughter is turning five on the sixteenth... ok sana kasi sa 17th pa naman ang first day of school nila.

we got no plans of celebrating it sana kasi we are really looking forward for her 7th bday... balak namin, prepare na lang ng extra special na merienda on the 16th kaya lang yung mga playmates niya kasi, today ang start ng classes... kaya malamang, gabi na dumating ang mga bisita niya just in case na ituloy namin

he-he... bkit nga ba ako nag-post sa topic na ito... ha-ha... bear with me... he-he...

since we never had the chance na mag-swimming during summer, we thought of having a swimming birthday celebration na lang on the 12th... it's Friday, but it's a non-working holiday naman...

we rented out a private pool within Marikina... we invited yung mga playmates niya na lagi niyang kasama during the summer vacation... hindi na kami lalagpas ng 30 pax... kasama na immediate families namin ni Dada...

no host na... pero we have prepared some parlor games... kami na lang ni Dada ang hosts... he-he... tapos spontaneous lang kasi 8am to 5pm yung reservation namin... we won't be setting a certain time na dedicated for the parlor games alone... basta pasulpot-sulpot lang... he-he...

For breakfast, i am planning to prepare a Pinoy Style Breakfast - fried rice, fried eggs (sunny side up and scrambled), various fried dried fishes, tocino, longganisa, tapa, hot chocolate and suman.

For lunch, since may catering service naman kami, papaluto na lang ako sa chef namin ng Kare-Kare and Chicken Cordon Bleu.  My MIL naman pledged to prepare Bicol Express and Pork Adobo.  Yung isang tita ko naman, pledged for the Steamed Rice, Grilled Eggplant and lots of Indian Mangoes na pipitasin ng mga anak niya sa likod ng bahay nila.  Dada plans to buy Bangus naman from Pixie's Sinugba at mag-on the spot Grilled Liempo.  Another friend pledged naman Tiramisu or Refrigerated Cake, her specialty. 

My mom naman ang bahala sa merienda, Pinoy Style Spag, Cassava Cake, and Maja Blanco.  Gawa rin daw siya ng sago't gulaman.  My younger brother naman and his girlfriend pledged to bring pizza rolls.  Siyempre bring pa rin ako ng cake and cupcakes.  He-he...

excited na kami... wag lang uulan... ha-ha...

sis mga ilan ba ang guests mo? kasi 'yung lugar dun medyo masikip and halos nasa dead end na ng street na 'yun. estimate kasi we'll be having around 150 guests kaya malabo na talaga na dun kami. kasi 'nung time nga na pumunta kami para tignan 'yung place kami mismo walang maparkingan. hehe


wala pa din nga akong mahanap na venue.. i'm planning tivoli royale kaso medyo hindi ko ganon ka gusto ang terms nila. planning to negotiate with them pa. torn din ako if i'll hire a host o hindi na. akala ko mas mabilis iplan ang pool party..but not yet losing hope hehe two months pa naman.

sis, meron indoor pool cum spa where they have a function room...you can call ace water spa its in del monte avenue...hope this helps!

sis, opinion ko lang po ito ha...if your doing a swimming party sa august, try to find an indoor pool. medyo unpredictable kasi ang weather natin sa period na yan.  sayang naman if it rains then outdoor, i know na nasa pool naman at ok sila mabasa, pero just for precautionary measures.

as for the glitter tattoo, sayang naman po kasi if they swim, mawawala din agad

sa ace water spa maganda talaga.  kaso they have a rule na once umahon na 'yung guest hindi na pwedeng bumalik sa pool.. e max 4 hours they can stay sa pool area. 'yung kiddie party ko would be max 3 hours parang hindi siya tugma hehe 

tnx sis sa advice.  yes priority ko indoor kung meron. and with glitter tattoo hindi siya matatangal. basta let it set sa skin for a few minutes then kahit mabasa hindi matatangal hehe

my venue is at my SIL's condo. may indoor pool area sila dun pero weird yung pwedto, nasa lobby -- free for everyone to see haha! kamusta naman!  ok na yun for us, hindi naman kami maselan

walang limit sis  kasi per head ang bayad.. sa adults they have 839php kasama na buffet dun tsaka access sa lahat ng pool. sa kids 250php pero wala pang food 'yun..

the venue we'll be getting won't be enough kapag pool area lang ang kukunin namin kaya we'll be getting the function room beside it as well. hindi ba pangit na may guests sa loob ng function room and meron sa labas? although glass naman 'yung kalahati ng function room tsaka sobrang magkatabi lang sila.

i plan to place na buffet table, gift table and cake sa function room. saan mas ok mag games? sa loob o sa labas? do i need to get sound system pa? i mean 'yung mobile type  naguguluhan na kasi ako hehe and is it ok na hindi na maghire ng host? friend nalang namin ni hubby mag facilitate ng games..
