Hello po. Tanong ko lang kung yung sa Bizmates final demo yung material ba na sinabi ng mentor? Yun na ba yon? At iisa lang ba talaga?

I'm new at Bizmates. I'd have to say sobrang strict nila sa recruitment, well at least yung mga na-assign saken for my demo. Pero they were all very nice and very systematic ang hiring process nila. Even the post-final demo process was very systematic, and prompt sila magrespond sa mga queries ng applicant.

Tanong ko lang po sana kung yung final demo sa bizmates iisang material lang? May sinabi na po kasi mentor ko na idedemo ko for finals. Yun na po ba yun? Iisa lang po ba talaga sa final demo? Salamat po

I tried applying for Bizmates kaso sa screening palang failed na ko. I dont know kung saan ako nagkamali but may work experience naman ako, hindi nga lang ESL. Any tips?

I'm looking for an esl company that accepts first timer like me. I work in a corporate set up company and I never had any esl experiences. What esl comp kaya and madaling pasukan for a first timer like me? My experience is not related to esl as in sa corporate set up lang talaga, financing to be specific.

Hi! anyone here still working at 51Talk? Nakakalungkot kasi wala ng students ang nagbbook ngayon kahit sa evening. I don't know what happened. more than 2 years nakong nagwwork dito pero this month ko lang siya naranasan na mawalan ng students at wala talagang nagbbook as in kahit gabi.

hi sissies! im getting interested in online english tutor and i want to do it as part time. i want to apply sana with bizmates. i already went to their website and saw their requirements. my only problem is the internet connection bcoz i use wifi at home and its not cable connection. i checked our net's speed at speedtest and it shows 8mbps download and 1.5 mbps for upload. for thos who works at bizmates, do they really require a cable connected internet? thanks in advance!

I also wanted to become an online English tutor. I used to have Logitech H110 Noise-cancelling Microphone Stereo Headset, unfortunately the volume is too low even at max volume settings.
It's cheap but not durable. It's already broken. What headset are you using? What do you recommend?

  Been reading a lot about online English teaching jobs, until now I'm not yet decided which one to try out. I also read a lot of discouraging stories about certain companies. Which one is really the best for those without teaching experience, like me?

^i highly recommend bizmates, i worked for them for a short wile. Wala din akong experience in online teaching (although i have experience sa classroom teaching). They have rigorous screening process, if they see potential in you imementor ka nila until makapasa ka. I know kasi that's what happened to me, naka 3 times ako sa demo before pumasa. Also the students are polite and friendly. The lessons are easy to conduct lang din since everything is laid out na, ituturo mo na lang.

^thanks a lot @simang. Actually i'm considering bizmates. It is one of my top 3 bests esl companies. Though I dont have online teaching experience, I've done call center jobs a long time ago. More than 6 months experience more or less. So, I'm hoping for the best. I will start applying after the Holy Week. *keeping my fingers crossed*

Hi, I have been eyeing to try teaching online since I don't have permanent work as of the moment. Parang naenjoy ko na kasi magstay as SAHM. Pero I do sidelines, as oncall nurse.

How did you start?
Ano ano mga kailangan before even trying to apply?

^^goodluck RedHotMomma, supportive naman ang mga mentors sa Bizmates, even if wala kang experience.

^Some companies require english certification, so yung iba they work on that first before applying, pero sa experience ko wala akong certification, I just applied directly sa bizmates.

hi sa mga sis natin na nagwork sa bizmates talagang lahat ng students is adults only? mas prefer ko kasi magteach ng adults kaysa kids. TIA sa mga magrereply!

^yes sis adults lang sa bizmates, business english kasi mostly ang tinuturo, so kadalasan mga professionals and college students ang students mo dun.

^yes sis i was hired without experience. They have mentoring naman as part of the screening process and they give you all the resource materials na kelangan to make sure you can conduct a lesson on your own. I was inexperienced with online teaching so 3x ako nag undergo ng mentoring before I finally passed. Hehe. They're quite strict with screening to matetrain ka talaga before they let you start teaching

^minimum of 10 hours per week. They have fixed schedule of classes, as far as i remember 4am-10am, then 5pm-12mn. Since most of their students are working, and class sched nila is usually before and after work hours in Japan
