What esl comp kaya and madaling pasukan for a first timer like me? My experience is not related to esl as in sa corporate set up lang talaga, financing to be specific.

Hi again mga sis.  Currently I'm serving ABC360.  They have a Baguio office but none here in Manila according to the Chinese Manager.  120/hr ang rate nila (17 minutes each class pero counted as 20 minutes).  Very flexible schedule.  You just need to download two more programs beside Skype. May limitations kasi daw ang China sa pag gamit ng Skype and other web services.  Kaya they need the teachers to download their (national) messenger.

For first timers, I suggest working in an office based muna para it would be easier to make reports or handle students. 

At the same time, I'm serving Korean students (parehong home based).  The Korean students were assigned to me by my husband's student in Tennis.  So it's not really a company because parang direct binigay sa akin.  Skype Skype lang.  And so I work around that schedule. Mas mataas bigay nung Koreans kaya gusto ko alagaan   Pero ayaw ko bitawan kasi Chinese company kasi I'm sure stable job na yun eh. 

I think peak season ngayon kasi both Chinese company and the Koreans occupy most of my day. 

Last January, sobrang onti lang.  Siguro vacation.

I have the same background mga sis. No prior ESL experience whatsoever, puro work sa corporate/private companies lang. But I applied and got hired at Bizmates. Actually, ang hinahanap nga nila ay yung may at least 3 years working experience.

But to be honest, strict talaga hiring process nila because they really screen the applicants. That said, mabait naman yung mga assessors/trainers and they give you tips on how to improve your game para makapasa for the next steps.

Working for 51Talk here. So far so good. Well, with regard sa deductions, oo totoo siya. Lol. But! Reasonable naman yung deductions nila since sila rin kasi mags-suffer if they will not impose sanctions sa mga pasaway na teachers. Before kasi, medyo lenient sila sa deductions, pero nag iba na ngayon. Madami na kasing students. And the higher the rating you have, the more students will book your class.

Sobrang laking pasasalamat ko sa company na to kasi nakatulong siya for my personal wants and needs. Actually, more on sa wants. Lol.

I downloaded an app called PalFish T from the app store.  You can download it on your phone and then we can teach... DAW.  Just wanted to try it out.  (I was looking for Duolingo for my own kid and I found Palfish T from the list)

Hi! I tried to apply at Bibo. Medyo mabilis yung process nila. Nag submit ako ng online application form, and then kinabukasan may email na. Nag ask kung kelan ako available for phone interview. I replied July 4, 2pm, pero tumawag sila July 2, 5pm. Medyo naloka ako. Buti nasagot ko. Parang weird lang kasi iaask ka pa nila ng preferred date and time, pero hindi masusunod.

I am scheduled to have my training and final demo on Wednesday sa Makati office nila. Yung friend ko online lang pinag ganun, kaya nag tataka ako bakit ako pinapapunta.

Kinakabahan ako kasi it will be my first time na mag apply as online english teacher. Question pala. Nabasa ko yung basic lesson flow, and nakalagay dun na kailangan makita ko muna daw yung class or lesson na gusto ni student bago iconfirm. Saan ko kaya makikita, wala akong access sa website nila eh. Or ituturo na siya sa training? Impromptu din ba yung lesson na ituturo dun?

Currently located ako sa ibang bansa so ano po kayang magandang company ang pwede ko applayan kahit nasa ibang bansa ako? Gusto ko lang ng extra income since mabilis ang net dito sa ibang bansa Salamat sissies.
