In our company, we undergo training everyday and I like it because I learn a lot about the English subject. The pay is not that high though.

gusto ko sana i-try tong part time pero tuwing nagtatanong ako laging full time hanap nila. ano po bang companies nag-ooffer ng part time? thanks po

sa amin sis, they're accepting part time english teachers but dont expect that the salary is high. super minimum

I've worked for online english schools for more than 2 years.. dun sa company namin dati ok ang pay... sa tektite sa ortigas siya... and super nice ng colleagues ko dun.. i sooo miss them, pati mga students ko..
kaso the biggest challenge is working with koreans... starting dun nung andun pa ako, 13k... with incentives of course...

Winglish - Tycoon building adjacent to tektitle building (low basic but they are very generous in giving incentives)
Gawon - West Tower Tektite (I'm supposed to work for this company but the slot was given to me in a later time than I expected)
Mentorpia - Taipan Place, along former Emerald Ave. (The pay is competitive and the korean bosses are all working in Korea)

sis, I worked in We phone when it was still edunara. I believe it's the second biggest ESL company in Manila... Winglish was founded by the former bosses of Wephone and they just started last year. I also worked in Gawon as a TL and okay siya, masaya ako dun...I never stayed for more than a year sa company dun lang. kaso nga minsan delayed sweldo, pero okay lang. Marami pang ooportunities.. kasi lumalaki na siya.. kaya nagpo-promote sila... hehe baka kilala mo ako ah...or baka kilala kita..

^^ sis cream puffs, yes most on-line english schools accept applicants without teaching experiences. What's important is you can speak English and you have the patience to deal with the students.

hi!!! may pwede ba kayo recommend na website for vocabulary, grammar and pronounciation..i'm teaching koreans din...kaya lang di online...ni rerecommend lang ako ng mga friends kaya di ako connected sa isang academy or korean school...kaya ala ako access na books..nanghihiram lang ako minsan sa mga friends...thanks..

@ cream_puffs - Yes, most online english schools hire people that don't have any experience in online teaching.

Sa batch namin, most of us are fresh graduates and there are even some nursing graduates like me.

@ Mystella - I had the same problem as yours since I'm from Cavite and most online schools are located in Pasig. The only online tutorial company in Alabang that I know of is Duzon. I'm not sure if they are still hiring though since I wasn't able to continue my application there. Its because I was hospitalized on the day of my first screening.

Fortunately, I am now working in another company here in Makati. ^__^ There are a total of 3 accounts here and two are non-voice accounts. First is the regular esl teacher post. For the non-voice accounts, the wm tutor checks essays while the m-tutor evaluates students speaking responses.

I'm assigned as an M-tutor and its great because there are times that the students' answers are really funny and some children impressed me because even if the questions are difficult, they still manage to give good answers.
