Answered Prayer! Every Friday nagsisimba ako kay Black Nazarene pinagdarasal ko makapasa ako sa LET board exam.  I passed ang saya!! Sigaw ako ng sigaw nung binalita ng sis ko.  Nagpupunta din ako kay St. Jude.  During the exam, tinawag ko si St. Thomas Aquinas Patron of mental block during exam.

Since I was 14yo I go with my mom every Wednesdays to pray to Our Mother of Perpetual Help. I also pray the novena to St. Philomena kasi yun feast day nya is birthday ko. :) So far, marami na rin akong answered prayers the latest is my passing sa Real Estate Broker's exam.

St. Jude and St. Roque never fails me.  :)

Also came about this on the net:

The Mother Teresa Emergency Novena

In an emergency say the Memorare prayer 9 times in a row.

This is the prayer:

Remember O most loving Virgin Mary that never was it known in any age that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided, inspired by this confidence, therefore I fly to thee O Virgin of Virgins my Mother, to you do I come, before you I stand sinful and sorrowful, do not O Mother of the Word Incarnate despise my prayers but in thy mercy graciously hear and answer them.
Amen.

Sisses,

May question ako  (not sure if this is on or off topic, pero since novena are prayer requests, i might as well write it here kesa creating a new thread hehe) -- when you pray for something and ang tagal before God gives it to you, do you accept na baka it's not in His plans for you or do you pray for it more na baka sakaling ibigay din ni Lord if He sees that you really want it?

Kasi diba, as the saying goes, nothing is impossible with God? So if you pray really hard and really long for something, possible rin talagang ibigay nya sayo yun, right?

Hindi ko kasi alam if sa novena, and I pray for a specific intention, baka nagsasayang lang ako ng oras praying for something na baka hindi rin ibigay ni Lord (or does this show how easy my faith wavers)? Dapat ba hindi ko isipin yun?

And btw, for novenas, can I ask for multiple things or dapat isa isa lang talaga per novena round?

tia sa sasagot! hehe :)

hi sis, honestly, i came to the point wherein naisip ko na im wasting my time.. na baka what im asking for is not really meant for me. that i should just let go and move on. but, its seems like whenever i pray, God keeps on giving me reasons to fight still. my friends would tell me to learn how to stop and accept things as they are, pero deep inside, i know i cant do that because God had showed me so much things to hope for already althroughout my novenas. one time, while praying, i told God that i would keep on fighting hanggang mawala nalang- for whatever the result might be on the end, i trust God's plans for me..

and that's what praying is all about- for me. its about putting all our trust to the Lord. whenever i pray, i would tell Him na "God, lalaban nalang ako, coz that's what my heart really wants.. i would give it my all because i know na one way or another, you will always answer my prayers." my faith led me to places i never knew ill discover and lessons i never knew life would teach me. naisip ko nun, pwede naman na hindi na ko binigyan or pinakitaan ni God ng mga reasons para tumuloy pa, but He did, so maybe i have to keep my hopes high.

everytime i pray/novena, nagkakaroon ako ng enlightenment and i guess, dun mo narerealize ang lahat. i also do pray for many things in mylife and i guess its ok for as long as we also do our part in making ourselves deserving for all those things. :)

Prayer for a Special Request
Pray for 3 days. Publish on the 3rd day. See what will happen on the 4th day.

Oh! Dear Mother of God, Our Lady of Conception Aparecida!

Oh! Saint Rita of Cassia and Saint Jude worker of miracles and
helper of impossible causes pray for me.
Saint Expedite, Saint of urgent causes. Saint Edwiges the Saint of the needy,
you know how desperate I feel, please ask Jesus to help me.
(Here mention your request)

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored and glorified for ever.

Pray 1 Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end, Amen.

Thank you.

Very close to my heart - Prayer to the Holy Spirit. I prayed to the Holy Spirit back in 2008 and it was from there that I started having a special relationship and have gotten to understand the role of the Holy Spirit in a more definite way. The Holy Spirit not only revealed Himself to me but also answered my special prayers.

PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
(pray for 3 days or 3 hours straight)

Holy Spirit, You who make me see everything and showed me the way to reach my ideals, You who gave me the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me and You who are in all instances of my life with me, I want to thank You for everything and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You no matter how great the material desire may be. I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory. Amen

In Jesus Christ, your Son's name, I ask that you grant me (State your specific request or intention here!)

While making the request, you must promise either:

    (a) To publish this prayer or
    (b) To circulate the favor

This prayer should be said for 3 consecutive days. After the 3rd day, the request will be granted, no matter how difficult it may be.

I am praying to Padre Pio for 6 days already.

My intention was to reach my year end sales quota kasi parang ang bagal ng business lately. I did everything na. Fieldwork, telemarketing but its not moving!

I am managing a team but i also have individual quota. For the month of July, over quota na na ko but the team's goal was behind pa. I prayed to Padre Pio and on the 3rd day of my novena, i got a sales of ph700k from a single client for the month of July. Ang galing coz it was almost impossible to pick up that kind of lead in a span of 2 weeks before month end.

I do hope that i get more events aug to dec. Praying really hard!

Longtime non-practicing Catholic here, but a personal crisis (loving BF of 2 years broke up with me because he had enough of my being selosa; nasakal kasi siya and he did not feel enough trust) led me to return to the faith and give some novenas a try. My request is for a last chance with my BF. Siyempre, I'm combining this with what I can do to remedy the situation (e.g. getting counseling for my issues, learning not to be selos when I see him joking around with other girls, especially now that we're technically not together). I took the risk of asking for a very audacious favor: kung pwede sana makipagbalikan kami before my birthday, which is already this week (when we broke up almost a month ago). Sana ma-grant ang requests ko, lalo na't first relationship ko ito and I feel remorseful because I now understand how, despite loving my BF, a major flaw of mine made things unbearable and painful for him.

The novenas that I've been praying:
- St. Jude novena (6x a day for 9 consecutive days): 3rd round na

- St. Therese novena (5 days): 3rd round; I've been seeing a lot of roses since I started praying it. I haven't received a rose personally, pero napansin ko, dumadami ata yung roses na nakikita ko sa simbahang dinadaanan ko. Once, I even asked to see a rose somewhere else (i.e. hindi sana sa simbahan), and - when I least expected it - I did!

- Holy Spirit novena (reposting as I promised to circulate it)

"PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
(pray for 3 days or 3 hours straight)

Holy Spirit, You who make me see everything and showed me the way to reach my ideals, You who gave me the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me and You who are in all instances of my life with me, I want to thank You for everything and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You no matter how great the material desire may be. - Express Memorare: I try to pray it once a day.

So far, my favorites have been the first two novenas that I listed.

The effect so far?

I think the Lord has been softening my ex's stance and restoring the patience he lost. He initially told me to get out of his life and to never contact him again. He blocked me from all his accounts.

2 weeks later (after round 1 of the St. Jude novena), I texted him, asking to talk. He said "No." I asked him a few things, and he responded. He was obviously still very angry, but at least he responded. That weekend, he told me how he really feels (aside from the anger) - that he's not apathetic, but that it hurts too much to talk to me because he remembers all the pain, and that he's not sure if he'll ever be okay with me again.

But then, last Friday, towards the end of the 3rd week, he texted me, saying he could meet me that weekend. When we met, he said that he still wasn't okay with me, and that it still hurt. So I asked why he asked to meet me. He said that he might as well. He also said that it took him a lot of anxiety to text me. I said that I was proud of him and that it was so brave of him to do that. For him to do that... it really was a miracle! I'm still hoping for an even greater miracle. The Lord really seems to be reaching into his heart right now.

Express Memorare Novena
Must say 9x in a row
Must make the sign of the cross before saying the prayer each time.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored to your help and sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgins of Virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the world Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. (Mention petition at the end of prayer each time you say it).

Publication MUST be made immediately and prayer(s) will be answered. The Blessed Virgin Mary is beautiful, powerful and pure!

I also pray to St.Therese and St.Expedite :)

i am interested in that 54 days novena. i have been praying the rosary everyday since july of last year.  although may times na hindi nasusunod, like there are 1 missed day or 2 sometimes 3 or 4 days nga eh, pag talagang busy, but i make up for it, kasi nakakaguilty lang. yun ata ang effect pag everyday ka nagrorosary, kinakalabit ka agad ni God if you missed doing it. :) but so far, when i started praying the rosary everyday, ang gaan  ng buhay ko, i mean, walang problema na you cannot handle. and i must admit, in every decision i make, i consult God. i think that is one effect of praying the rosary, God always want to keep in touch with you. although, hindi lahat ng gusto natin mangyari eh nangyayari, but i think what God wants is things that will bring good to us. take for instance, i really want to apply for that FSW immigrant, but was disheartened because my occupation is no longer in the list. that was this june. but now another opportunity is knocking at the door, and hindi ko pa pinapansin kasi i am praying for a sign from God if this the the right time. so far, wala pa naman akong nakikitang sign. but i know, God has better plans for us. Pray lang ako ng rosary, i know even if i don't express my intention to Him, he knows what i desire.  :) God is really good ALL the time. :)

I started a few more novenas - St. Pio's novena, St. Anthony, the Sacred Heart novena, and the 54-day novena. Patiyagaan talaga yung 54-day novena, but I really want a certain request to be granted, so I decided to start the 54-day novena even though it'll take days. So far, nasusundan ko naman siya. It's just 10 days to go until the 27th day (first half of the novena - yun yung petition half); sana matupad na hiling ko!

Thanks for sharing mga sis. I will pray that all  your intentions will be heard. God bless!
