mine was st.jude, kasi that time siya lang talaga ang alam ko.  nagprapray ako na sana magkabalikan na kami ulit ni bf after namin magkahiwalay for a year.  that time may gf siya na kilalang kilala ko at alam ko na mas mabait sa akin kaya imposible niyang hiwalayan.  pero binigyan ako ng sign thru dream.  nakita ko daw sila magkakasama ng barkada ng gf niya at yung gf niya.  tapos sa tapat mismo ng pwesto nila kumuha daw ako ng stool at umupo dun, tapos bigla daw akong nalaglag sa upuan.  tapos may nangyari something sa paa ko.  bigla daw lumapit sa akin yung ex ko at tinulungan ako.  tapos hanggang umalis na kami dalawa at iniwan niya na yung gf niyang umiiyak kasama mga barkada niya.  how cheezy ng dreams ko pero super na touch ako sa sign.  and eventually naging kami na ulit ni bf til now for 7 years.

and i forgot tried tested na rin namin si st. claire when it comes to pag hingi ng magandang panahon for birthdays.

Hi sissies! Me, I pray to St. Therese. Super effective. All my prayers were answered and granted. Sobrang lakas ng faith ko sa kanya. I would also like to try St. Jude again. When i was in college, pumupunta ako lagi kay st. jude with my friends. Now, if time permits, i go to baclaran with my mom.
super light ng feeling after ng novena and the fact na na-grant yung prayers mo, super fulfilling.

Ang dami pala nagnonovena dito ky st. jude and st. therese.. super favorite and love ko sila dalwa.. college pa lang ako nagnonovena na ko sa kanila and lahat ng wishes ko grant nila.. sad lang kc nung nagwork na ko at nagkaasawa nakakalimutan ko na. now im trying ulit sa magnovena sa kanila..

i always go to baclaran every wednesday.. panata ko na yung pagnonovena sa baclaran, kay mother of erpetual help... marami na rin kasi akong answered prayers pag nagnonovena ko..

another one is yung st.philomena? anyone tried having novena with her...marami rin testimonials about st philomena kaso i havent tried it pa..

i've been lurking in this thread for some time and last week, i've dreamt of praying kay St Therese of lisieux.. i dont know how pero i ended up praying her novena (im on my 3rd day now) tapos nag browse ako sa net about her, nakita ko yung picture nya, naalalal ko nung nakita ko sya sa book of saints when i was still in grade school.. sobrang pretty nya.. i remembered how much i adore her.. she is known diba for sending roses.. last week, i was with my boyfriend.. his mom gave me roses, tapos the next day, nag mall kame ni bf to buy some stuff.. we encountered this lamp and i've decided to get one.. i originally wanted the one with butterflies on it pero he insisted na yung may roses ang kunin ko.. narealize ko lang na napapaligiran ako ng roses the moment i started praying the novena.. sabihin nalang natin na coincidence yung sa bf ko at the same day na binigay ng mum nya yung roses eh yung same night na napanaginipan ko si St Therese pero simula nung nag novena ako, i've been encountering a lot of things connected with roses

the only novena that i have for the past 5 years is the novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, nag start ako mag try ng novena during my annual leave, feeling ko it was meant to be given to me, i prayed with all my heart, i went to the church everyday for 9 consecutive days and leave 9 copies of the novena, prayed 6 times a day (as much as possible sana walang disturbance para makapag pray ng maayos), after each novena din pala, nag light ako ng candles then say again a little prayer.  I did this by September 2005, i prayed na sana dumating na ang magiging lifetime partner ko, ayoko ng bf lang, i prayed na sana kung sino man maging bf ko hopefully sya na maging husband ko.  After few months my wish was finally granted.  Now we are 4 years together and 3 wonderful years of blissful marriage.

Thank you so much Sacred Heart of Jesus.... Just keep the faith and your prayers will be answered in His time

--does it really work? you ask for something and is it really answered?

--i read some of the post about praying to st therese...my question--do you have to ask for a rose or sign after the prayer or novena?

--and do you have to pray the novena in church? or can you pray anywhere?like at the comforts of our house or room?

--do you have to pray the novena at the same time each day? or anytime that you're available as long as you complete the 9 days?

--can you pray two novenas at the same time, i mean simultaneously?

--after the end of every novena you have to leave copies of the prayer in church? or is it ok not to leave any copies?

--what if i want to pray the novena to st theres and st jude, but i'm here in baguio, is it ok if i'll be praying the novena in any church? say for ex at cathedral or pink sisters? do i have to pray the novena in one church only? or can i pray it  for example day 1 at cathedral then day 2 at pink sisters?

--then what if for example for 3 days you've been praying the novena in church, then suddenly for some reason you can't drop by the church, is it okay to continue the novena at home?

--and for the 54 day novena---what do you mean by 5 decades of the rosary?

hi sis  its good to know that you want to start praying novenas. actually, there are no hard or strict rules when it comes to prayer. i also pray the novena to st therese and i pray it every month, from the 9th of the month for 9 days. i dont necessarily ask or wait for a rose. nagppray lang ako and sometimes when i see a rose, i just know that she listens and she's there. wala namang specific time or place to pray novenas. its all up to you. ako, i just pray at home every night. though ive encountered other versions ng novena before na meron ding time. but sis, in summary, the other things are of little importance. whats really important is our intention and sincerity in praying. :-)

and no, you're not required to leave prayers sa church. siguro kung gusto mo lang naman. like ako for example, because i know how st therese has helped me, i give other people copies of her prayer or kaya i leave copies sa church. but not necessary after the novena.
