i was only grade 3 when i started this hobby.  it all started when i had a home eco cross stitch project. from then on, nakahiligan ko na. naalala ko when i was in 2nd year hs we had cross stitch project. since i love the project, i was so ahead of my classmates when i finished it and i even worked on the pattern of my crush.
currently, im still finishing a pattern that i started when i was still pregnant with my eldest. my eldest is now 3 years old. hopefully i can finish it before this year ends. i already have 2 kids and i still enjoy doing this. there are so many patterns to choose from and the idea of having all of this in our house excites me!

sa wakas natapos ko din after 13 yrs yung rose na nasa vase.
trying to finish what i've started 15yrs ago..a lovely rose garden. i really have to finish this one medyo brownish na yung aida cloth. antique na. pressure pressure...

hi mga sis.. ako talagang medyo impatient sa mga matagal-matapos na mga projects. hihi.. baka naman meron sa inyo gustong magbenta na lang ng mga gawa nyo sakin.  when i read your posts, i realized maganda ang framed cross stitch sa bedroom. i'm having mine renovated; ganda siguro pag meron ako kahit isang very nice na piece.

namiscalculate ko kasi yung pattern ko, feeling ko sobrang naigilid ko sya. mga 2 inches lang yata yung border. 
im doing last supper pattern ng dmc.

  -- pwede na yan sis, ako din sa hulo kong pattern namiscalculate ko, eh nasa kalahati na ako. mga 1 inch na naiwan. pero na frame pa rin.

Pag ipapa-frame po yung mga pattern dapat mag allot ng 3 inches space sa lahat ng sides. Pero ako mga 2 inches each side kasi sayang hehe...

Meron pa palang nagxxstitch! Naaddict din ako dito. Gusto ko malaki at paintings. Hindi kasi ako marunong magdrawing. Pero wala na akong makitang magandang pattern. Love ko mga works ni Gustav Klimt. May ginawa MIL ko, The Kiss. Kahit yun lang ipamana niya sa akin, okay na ako. Isa pang type ko, yung Picasso's Weeping Woman. Anybody here who has patterns of well-known paintings except Mona Lisa? PM me please...

yung mga gawa ko dati 1 inch lang ang iniwan kong border pero naipa-frame ko pa din.

tungkol naman sa pattern na painting, meron akong nakitang pattern from dmc na hango sa painting ng isa sa mga national artist natin. bumili nga ako ng isa at idedisplay ko sa dining room ng bahay na pinapagawa namin.

^Sis, is that the Amorsolo painting about mango harvests? We have that na. Hehe. Gustung-gusto ko kasi siya talaga. Para kasing may painting ka na sa bahay if ever kahit cross-stitch. Tapos pag nakita nila mabibigla silang cross-stitch pala. Sorry, wala po ako sa city pero if I go there, I'll try to check Megamall out. Aling store po yun?

^hindi ata about mango harvest yung nabili kong pattern pero tungkol din yun sa bounty harvest kasi madaming mga fruits at palay grains.

sa dmc creative world ko nabili yung pattern. sa building A ata yun at nasa basement malapit sa food court.

minsan din akong na-addict sa cross stitch na yan, so far i have 6 na pero wala pa akong time magpa-frame. fave ko yung last supper! sobrang tagal ko ginawa, 250 colors. malaki sya.
