After having the Naked palette when it first came out yata, di na ko kumuha ng ibang eyeshadows. Well, ito lang naman shadows ko period. :D

^Si Sillage may hawig kay Emerveille (Illusion d'Ombre).

I use Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeshadow Pencils. :) Super easy to apply, and the color lasts all day even without an eyeshadow primer. :) Gusto ko rin ng UD Naked Palette, but the price is kinda steep for me.

^Kung may isa lang na eyeshadow na pwede ako gamitin araw araw, it's either Chanel Sillage or Chanel Safari :) Magandang overall lid color yan.
Thanks sis Heatherette!

^I don't know kung LE siya. Bagay din Sillage and Safari together.

^^Welcome :)

f21 fashion set is nice as well. maraming bridal colors. the browns are on the warm side though, so walang Cork dupe doon

I agree with the comments about those big eyeshadow palettes with all the colors of the rainbow. I used to be a product junkie and when I was college bought all sorts of makeup colors. In the end, hindi ko rin nagamit and ended up giving them away to my college pamangkins. Guess what, di rin nila nagamit. Even now that I do makeup professionally, hindi ganon karami yung products ko.

For my own personal kit, the money that I would spend for a coastal scents palette, I would rather put in 3-4 everyday colors na high quality. For sure gagamitin mo parati. :)

I like the PAC brand, by the way. I don't have it in my professional kit kasi hindi nga ako masyado pala bili ng products unless ubos na yung gamit ko, but i tried it in the store, very nice ang pigmentation niya and it is very well priced.

Also, there's another product I'm curious about that I haven't bought because I don't need it yet... has anyone tried the cream eyeshadows of Shawill? The lady who was selling it at landmark did her own makeup very well that I had to ask her about it and she said she was using cream shadows of Shawill. And even though the palette was cheap, hindi parin ako bumili because I don't like having a stock pile of makeup. Any feedback from those who have tried?

sis, hindi un e/s na try ko but the eyeliner. ok un eyeliner nla.

i use UD and 4u2 if mag make up ako. i rarely use e/s dahil laging on the go.

Meron sa DF both sillage and safari. Syempre tiningnan ko upon sis Heatherette's recommendation. Hehe. Maganda nga yung sillage, but the S/A recommended something similar pero not as "reddish" daw, yung Caprice from the Fall 2012 collection. Maganda rin yun! Will probably purchase the next time I'm in DF. Or yung sillage.  :)

How much ba e/s ng Chanel sa Rustans?

coastal scents e/s palette are just too powdery. i know because i hoarded these before i enrolled in a makeup class. nung ginamit ko na for the first time sa class, ayun! i kept on applying the eyeshadow pero walang pigments na kumakapit sa eyes! even if i use the UD potion or MAC e/s primer! :))

My everyday eyeshadow would be MAC's All That Glitters :) although I don't wear make up everyday, this is my go-to shade for natural looks. I don't have a lot of single eyeshadows kasi mas sulit if palette but this one is kinda worth it naman

Also... what MAC colors are good for contouring? Im not into smokey eyes... just want some neutral controuring to go with highlight colors such as: all that glitters, shroom, phloof, naked lunch etc

Just bought several MAC eyeshadows yesterday: Vex, Shroom, and Satin Taupe. I know Satin Taupe has rave reviews, but I still find it too dark for my chinky eyes.

What brand can I buy thats good and cheap... so I can experiment with the colors, then buy MAC or Bobbi Brown look alikes when I settle on the look I like best?

900 per eyeshadow is too expensive just to experiment with. I kinda regret buying my Satin Taupe... sayang

You can try the revlon colorstay quads, ok naman ang pigmentation niya and colors are nice too. Ok din to invest in palettes if you're just starting out. Those from Too Faced or Urban Decay are very high quality and possibly better than MAC, lumalabas din na mas mura per shade and the colors are meant to go well together.

I got 3-pan from bobbi brown, which contains my most basic e/s must haves for a daily clean look. And then I made a 4-shade shimmer palette from Shu Uemura, which I use as accents together with basic palette. Ayun, solved na! :)

Although ang chakaness lahat ng beauty columnist ng PDI, they are so behind beauty trends. I don't know why PDI still gets them to write.

Paging Philippine Daily Inquirer, get na lang bloggers to write beauty columns.

Back to topic, I think any eyeshadow mas gumaganda with primer. Hindi ako gumagamit ng eyeshadow before kasi kadiri pag nag-cre-crease, natuwa ako when I discovered UDPP years back kasi I realized no need na pala for touch-ups, kahit hanggang gabi ang lakad ko. :)

^Agree re UDPP! : )
Yung udpp sin ko nga sis, also doubles as e/s pag tamad tamaran mode.

tama, advertorials na. He!he!

^I use to buy Allure, then nabored ako after a year. it's a good beauty magazine. In Style kasi mas sulit.he!he!
Ay ako super solve na sa UDPP.
