If you want a nice resort in LU, try Big Kahuna.  The rate's kind of expensive compared to the other resorts there but maganda daw.  Plus they have a promo now, 50% off their rates
In Bagasbas, Camarines Norte, we stayed in Bagasbas Lighthouse Hotel.  But we kind of encountered a problem there (as I mentioned in my blog entry).

But read the fine print. I think 1 or 2 hours lang lessons. Parang mas ok to DIY.

yah my hubby and i will be surfing buddy. we are just waiting for the perfect time when to do it since lagi naman may bagyo kasi

mas ok mag surf ng may bagyo. mas malakas ang waves. mas maganda actually before. madumi ang dagat -pag after ng badyo.

i tried surfing a few times in la union, how's aurora for the waves? i still consider myself a newbie at this sport, though without a trainer anymore, i'm still trying to get the groove of catching the waves on my own

Surfing is so much fun! Gusto kong careerin talaga sport na 'to..yung tipong pupuntahan ko yung mga spots kung saan maganda ang forecast ng alon, just me or just a small group who share the same passion. Tsaka yung hindi kailangan mag compete, yung magsurf ka lang to your heart's content. Yung mga friends ko di gaano fan ng sport na to so mahirap magyaya ng kasama..

we'll be back in LU next month and I can't wait. It's my happy beach. nakaka-addict tlaga surfing, masakit lang sa katawan. but it's all worth it

hi kachich! it's actually a surfing event that happens during semestral break (october) when sports/activities are organized in san juan beach la union. there are surfing clinics, surfing competition, wall climbing, volleyball tournament, and beach parties at night. actually kaya sya tinawag na surfing break kasi tuwing semestral break sya, target crowd nya kasi ay yung mga students na nakabakasyon.

i think okay naman yung beach sa la union ngayon. kasi wala naman nabanggit yung surf instructor namin, nagsurf pa nga daw sila nung bagyo. we'll be there this weekend!

Uy! Thank you for the fast reply. sayang may pupuntahan na nako ng oct 29.. but I'l try to be there this weekend too. My friends are going but I still have work on friday so habol lang ako ng saturday. Until Saturday noon lang sila so, papaiwan ako para maka pag surf, sana maaga low tide para makapag surf ako. uwi din ako sa gabi e
