Hi! i'm new to this site... Just wanted to know if anyone knows Good kids  therapy center in pasay. I just wanted to ask sana some feedbacks whether they are good or not.

My advise is to research well on the therapy center, get a seasoned/experience OT.  Sometimes nagiging factory nalang ang mga therapy centers.  Dapat appropriate yung goals, mahal-mahal ng initial assessment tapos parang template form lang ang ibibigay.  Early intervention sana ang son ko but we wasted 8 months with OT.  2 OTs were assigned to him, they couldn't get him to focus and sit down.  Then we tried ABA, home-based...sa first session palang he was able to sit down (it was a 2-hour session) and follow the therapist.

Good news mga sis, yun co workers ko na ST, open na sila for homecare. Yun isa prefers Paranaque area, yun isa open areas nya QC and Pasig
Both are working for more than 3 years na.
Not advertising for myself ha, just want to make it clear. alam ko kasi madami talaga nghahanap ng ST, super hirap lang. just want to help Message me nalang.

^sis cocomarie: So sad naman May i ask saan center  yan? Ako yun kid na hinahandle ko, he also has ABA. Nung una, feedback nung yaya bakit daw sa ABA ngfofollow, bakit pag sa amin na OT medyo struggle. Then yun co-therapist ko did a home  visit to  observe ABA, nalaman namin kaya pala todo sumusunod, kasi every 2-3 minutes, may break, sige ok lang  mag roam, tapos very repetitive lang ng task, sa 2 hours session nakaka 15-20 tasks sila. For example, coin banking 5 chips. rest, give toy. then work ulit. coin banking. mamya naman some form of shooting chips. So what we did, yun strong points ng ABA nya, we incorporated it sa OT sessions namin. Ngayon, the kid sits longer na, works better, attends longer, focuses better. 
I am not saying ABA is ineffective, but iba iba din yun kids I am glad that ABA helped your kid

^sis rhumbafrapp, don't get me wrong, i have high regard still for OTs, what i'm saying is to do research and ask a lot of questions...observe, observe, observe.  i just followed the reco of our dev ped the first time, it's a center in ortigas area, i won't say na the name.  my son has OT right now 4 hours a week, and we're lucky this time, magaling yung ot, malayo dun sa dati niya.  and no, wala masiyadong breaks yung aba niya, hindi siya napa-pamper, yun lang maganda yung program niya.  i am able to witness the 2-hour session for 5 days a week, and they let me take a video pa if i'm not home.  so i could do it myself din and hindi lang siya sumusunod sa therapist niya.  dami niyang natutunan.  and i could see how each drill is a step to a more complex drill.  his ot naman helps him overcome his SIs.

Hi guys! I want to thank Mareng Google for I found this site! =)

I am a mother of three and my first born are twin boys. They are 3.5 y/o and they can't talk yet. Puro sila laro, nood tv and baby talk pa lang. I'm patient naman and in our family, we have history of late talkers. My father said nakapagsalita ako at 2, my husband was 3.5. I also have a cousin who managed to talk at 5! My aunt said wag ako mainip pero syempre, as a mom, we all want the best for our kids. Their pedia said they should be talking at least 100 words pero puro Daddy, Hindi, Broom Broom lang ang sinasabi nila. Lagi ko nman kinakausap pero nakatingin lang. Minsan nakangiti. Pag may gusto at hindi ko maintindihan, they make sounds at nagagalit sabay iyak. Hindi naman ako napu-frustrate pero I want them to have therapies.

I've read posts na kailangan na OT muna bago ST. I've read all of the posts in this thread and I did not read any comments regarding Childfind Assessment and Therapy Center. Since we live in Paranaque, I want to enroll the twins there. Fees for the assessment is Php 2,500 then 600 per session. Yung mga nababasa ko dito may 500. Yun pa rin ba ang current rate?

Also, anybody here have tried The Little Campus in Pase de Magallanes, Makati? Gusto ko sana yung malapit lang para makauwi agad as I have a one-year old kid.

Hello mga sis, bago lang po ako dito sa group.. Gusto ko lang po sana malaman kung meron po ditong may alam na occupational therapist na nag home care dito sa marikina.. Dysphagia management po kelangan ng baby ko.. He is 7th months old now.. Naoperahan po kase sya sa neck nung 1 month palang sya.. Naapektuhan ang sucking and swallowing nya.. 6th months na sya nag OT pero wala paring magandang result.. Nung first 2 months sa PCMC ok naman kase talaga OT registered ang teacher ni baby pero kinailangan ko syang ilipat ng TMC kase bawal sya ma expose pero hindi ako satisfied kase trainee ang nag OT sa baby ko.. Natatapos lang ang isang oras na session na walang nangyayari.. Kaya i'm looking for Occupational therapy na may dysphagia management experience.. Sana nag homecare din.. Sana din po not too expensive.. Thanks.. Sana po matulungan nyo ako..

Hi sis, can you pm kung may available na ST/OT na home. I cant pm you coz I'm not allowed to pm. I'm from Mindanao Ave. QC. We just came from a dev ped kanina and we found out that my son who is 15 months has a developmental delay (Social Skills). He recommended Canopy pero wala syang contact info. I called Therabilities pero ipipila raw kasi wala pang slot. Gusto ko sana kahit nag thetherapy na sya sa therapy center, gusto ko rin sana maghire ng home base na OT. TIA
