I had my credentials evaluated by WES, mabilis lang...UST na nag-send nung TOR ko sa kanila and I paid them thru their BPI acct...
Sa WES naman I just mailed my payment...

And it was WES who sent naman my evaluation sa school na papasukan ko....they will mail you a separate copy for your records.

Unfortunately I did only 3 semesters cos I got my work authorization already. I just went to school to keep myself busy because my kids were in school full-time already....

When I applied for a job, resume lang hiningi ng company...that's it...

I think it's only when you're applying for a working visa will they require an evaluation of your credentials... and if it's for school they want a comprehensive evaluation so the schools recommend WES...

Pwede ka magdrive. Although better check the state where you're in. Dito sa IL, allowed magdrive up to 90 days upon arrival. After that hindi na. It doesn't matter if Non-pro or Pro yung Phil. license mo.

depends on what state you're at.. here in NC, I can drive for 90days. I was even pulled over by a state trooper, I'm driving my car and hubby's driving his, akala ni state trooper we we're racing. I showed him my Phil driver license, and didn't asked any questions, nor gave us a ticket..

hello mga sis

nid nyo po muna mag take ng written exam dito sa DMV cali. kapag nakapasa kayo bigyan ka nila ng temporary license [textspeak!] for 60 days.
pwede ka na mag drive. so kung ready ka na mag take ng actual driving exam. kol ka sa kanila for appointment..

yung driver license mo kunggaling ka philippines at pumunta ka dito para dito na titira valid [textspeak!] po un up to 1 yr.. hindi mo na sya pwedeng gamitin. at di ka nila bibigyan ng extension sa temporary driver license...

Thanks First Timer & Vera. Yup L1 visa pero due to re-org, mukang wala rin kaming work na babalikan. Hirap talaga mag hanap ng work dito ngayon. Nag respond yung ibang inapplyan ng husband ko pero hindi willing mag sponsor.

hi...anyone could help me? gusto ko kasi bumalik ng us but im thinking if US immigration would still let me in pagtapak ko ng airport kasi permanent resident lang ako umuwi ako last July 2009 dito Pinas and more than 6 months n me dito sa Pinas ayoko naman bumili ng plane ticket tapos pababalikin lang ako pag andun na ako...Do u think pwde pa ako bumalik ng US?

Honestly, I don't know since I'm not yet allowed to work. (Under H4 visa) But I think it depends on what industry you're in as well as the place where you'll be living in. Pero since you're a US Citizen, you have more advantage to those living and working here under working visa. Nothing's gonna hurt if you try. Goodluck.
