at times lalo na pag naaasar ako sa kanya. minsan naiisip ko kung nakinig lang ako sa parents ko, maaga kasi ako nag asawa at the age of 18. but then masaya naman ako, minsan lang talaga magulo utak ko lalo na pag naiinis ako sa kanya. honestly, naiisip ko mas na-enjoy ko siguro yung mga pagimik gimik with friends, medyo mahigpit kasi si hubby 11 yrs older siya sa kin saka seloso....

aside sa mga na enumerate mo na sis, i stopped din going to church because of him. lagi niya kasi akong sinasabihan before na "simba ka ng simba, wala namang naitutulong yan!"

Eto ang isa sa pinakamasakit in general. Ikaw na nga ang nag-e-establish ng personal relationship mo sa Diyos, gusto pa niyang sirain ang diskarte mo at i-insultuhin ka pa na parang siya ang Diyos na makakapanghusga sa iyo when in fact siya dapat as the head of the household ang provider niyo sa lahat ng aspects, including your spiritual well-being!

sis, why hindi mo iwan?

OO nga sis. You don't need this abuse. Lintek naman! Dapat siya ang provider. Hindi man lang ba nahihiya sa sarili niya yan?

pero, as per my mom advise it's part of marriage life....pero, till when ako magtitiis sa paging immatured niya. minsan parang i want to believe na late ang pagiging matured ng mga guys.....

Yes problems are part of marriage life but most importantly, part of marriage life as well, is the resolution of the problems too! Not to endure them and be a martyr for life! Naku don't wait until mauwi sa clinical depression ito. If you already spoke with your husband too many a times and parang baka siya pa ang mayabang or siya pa ang galit, you need the help of other people like a pastor or yung mature people. If abnormal pa rin ang behavior ng husband mo, then leave him. Ikaw ang masisira dito mentally and emotionally in the end. You don't let existing problems fester in your marriage. Pag may problema, normal, pero ayusin!

minsan. lalo na pag sinasabihan nya akong bobo. nasasabi ko sa sarili ko na sana hindi ko ipinilit dati. akala ko kasi dati it's all about my love for him. akala ko kasi kaya kong tiisin lahat ng dadating na problema at imperfections nya dahil mahal ko sya. akala ko kasi dati mahal niya ako ng sobra gaya ng sinasabi nya.

sinasabihan kang "bobo"? sis this is worse than physical abuse as far as the emotional toll it takes on you.

after giving birth yes.. but i don't know if it's part of my postpartum blues.. i wasn't ready to give up everything kasi. feeling ko nagbago yung buong buhay ko after giving birth and it made me think kung ganito din ba ang situation ko kung hindi ako kinasal sa kanya. but everyone has flaws.. i must admit na naging impossible din ako para sa kanya but he is very patient towards me (to think na my husband has a temper). now na medyo mas hindi na ako sinusumpong(at times meron pa din hehe) i'm really thankful to be with him.  :)

^naku sis, true yan. may effect talaga ang post partum. kung grabe ang sungit ko sa husband ko while pregnant, lalo na after giving birth.

it really takes a lot from a woman. ang part ng life that we give in order to build a family and keep it together is way a lot more than the guys do. imagine getting pregnant and giving birth pa lang. ang changes sa body and overall lifestyle. plus the fact that the society expects and dictates that women should always be ideal in order to build a good family.

kaya it is such a big pain when husbands don't do anything in return. that's when regret comes in. ako naman kasi, very transparent and i really express what i feel. so kung galit or hurt ako sasabihin ko talaga sa kanya specifically kung ano sa sinabi or ginawa nya ang nakasakit sa kin. i rant all my hate and sasabihin ko kung ano ang gusto kong sabihin as long as i know that i'm right. if not kasi, he will not have any idea how to make it right, i'll sulk and for sure regret mode ako.

pero syempre at the end of the day, kahit anong asar or galit pa yan, ang importante, we both know that we love each other. this is the main reason why we stay in the marriage. kasi kung walang love sa relationship and you got married, that is a thing to regret. if career, misunderstandings no matter how big it is, or any other issues, madali lang maayos. pero if love ang wala, kaya kang saktan at hindi ka din pakikinggan and you'll be stuck with someone who don't give a damn about you for the rest of your life.

yes, there was a point in my life when i felt that way. it's a scary feeling but i didn't regret feeling that way at all coz i was able to find myself again and rediscover myself. parang naging stronger person ako after kong nalampasan yung stage na yon.

siguro lahat naman tayo dumaraan sa ganoong trials.

Based on the reactions here, dapat na siguro palitan ang mga linya sa altar na...

"..for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, 'till death do us part"

Or tama [textspeak!] biro sa amin - na kapag pipirma kana sa altar - make sure na pencil ang gamit mo para pwede burahin yung pirma!

On a serious note, the stories here make one fear for married life. Is it really all that worth it?
