Before July 2006, I regretted marrying my husband. Financially, we were more than okay, but life was not good. Mahabang kwento. But if you are curious, or want a glimpse of how bad life can get -- go read the posts in the Support Group for Abused Women... something like that ... Given all those years, dyan ko napatunayan talaga na money isn't going to make you happy -- BUT not having enough will also make you unhappy. Now, we are more than we have been okay/happier than ever. But there are still times I regret -- coz I could have been so much more; I could have achieved so much more. But then, life lived in regret is stupid. So I snap out of it en punto.God bless.
oh yeah... sobrang regret talaga... LOL...after lang siguro a couple of months after marrying him, nagsisi na talaga ako. i was not sure when i married him and my friends were telling me not to pursue with the wedding kasi i was telling them na hindi nga ako sure. i married for wrong reasons. nakakalungkot lang pero yun ang totoo. i married him kasi i want to get out of our house kasi feeling ko at that time na pinagkakaisahan nila ako sa bahay. i was only 23 then...the problem is, he doesn't work and from the beginning, suportado na kami ng mommy ko, as in mommy ko ang nagbibigay ng allowance sa amin. we're both unemployed for more than a year. and then nung magkababy kami, binigyan ako ng mommy ko ng puhunan to start a business. so nagbusiness ako. si husband naman, inihanap ng mommy ko ng work sa company ng friend nya so nagwork sya dun for a couple of months pero nagresign din kasi mahirap daw. yung business ko naman, nag-prosper and medyo lumaki na sya and lahat ng gastos namin eh dun na kinukuha kasi nag-stop na rin ang mommy ko sa allowance.to make the long story short, he was never a good provider and ako pa yung gumagastos lahat-lahat sa amin. name it: food, his clothes, kids stuff, tuition fees, mga katulong, lahat ng bills, kids baon... everything....tapos ang yabang-yabang pa niya lagi and bossing pa dun sa business namin na pinaghirapan kong palakihin. alam nyo yun? yung wala ka naman ni singkong duling na nai-share pero mas mayabang ka pa? hay naku talaga naman...kayo ba hindi magsisisi kung ganito ang situation nyo? grabe talaga mga sis...
