new discovery for a good Burritos: Army Navy

Wow!!! The food here looks yummy, parang US style ang food nila based on the pictures posted. Saan ang exact location nito Sis?

i tried poquito mas at westgate last weekend. akala ko mahal pero reasonable naman pala.

they have buffet dinner for P199 only every friday and saturday. limited choices pero masarap!

it's a "splatino" restaurant - spanish, latino (includes mexican) and filipino.

mukhang ok nga yung army navy. open na ba sa g5?

sis xtina christmas ...yummy talaga sis ganda pa ng ambience kasi sa Tagaytay ito...pero madame na den soon to open na branches nila around Manila...pero mas gusto ko pa den kainin ito sa Tagaytay ang cool ng place para kana den nasa tate hehe...

sis clueless ...yes sis try mo compare talaga sa Mexicali way better sila, sana lang ok lang pag kakagawa nila sa open na branches...

Hi girls, I'm a biiiiig fan of Mexican food, and I just discovered a new Mexican restaurant (just opened this year): Jalapeño Cantina Mexicana. Super, super sarap ng food, it's my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Sayang nga lang malayo sa amin, it's in Ortigas Home Depot and I'm from the South. Still, I won't mind na dayuhin 'to, super sulit ng food, laki ng servings and reasonable ang prices.

ako naman sis,na try ko na din lunch buffet at poquito mas, sa paseo de sta rosa naman pero last june pa...for the price, cant remember eh parang 299 yata not 199 tagal na kase so di ko maalala, pwede na kase affordable naman though i did not enjoy the food, they had sansrival for dessert at that time and yun lang na-enjoy ko.

i love mexican foods too. love na love ko ang nachos at tacos (soft). san nga meron pang taco bell bukod sa cubao?

Tia Maria's, Agave, Mexicali are all so-so. I also agree that it's far from authentic. But then if you like Mexican food and have a sudden craving for one, those 3 are your best bets. Too bad we dont have a lot of choices in Manila.

I have a new favorite Mexican place, RISTRAS, in Wilson. Super sarap...a bit on the expensive side, but huge servings and authentic burritos talaga. Every time I visit the place, I always see celebrities. Yesterday, a PBA team pero di ko know coz I don't like basketball. It was just obvious na players sila coz they are giants. I also saw Alex whatever...basta he is a basketball player ren. haha...

Back to the food, must try yung burritos. I prefer beef with lots of guacamole and sauce. I also like whole wheat tortilla. Chimichanga is also good. My brother loves it.

^I agree with RISTRAS. 290 pesos for a burrito which is good for 2 people already.

As for me, FAIL ang guacamole ng Agave. The avocado taste is barely there. Or I'm just spoiled silly by Ristras' guacamole. (We ate there today. Whee)

a huge fan of mexican food. alas, i have never been to the US so my idea of mex is based on what they have in restos here like taco bell, mexicali, etc...

but i live in San Juan and i LOVE Ristras. A bit expensive yes, but oh so worth it. they're enchilada is good too, along with their burrito.

Just wondering though, having your burrito 'wet' ba makes a big difference? i find the 90 peso add-on for some sauce a bit too much.
Their hot sauce is awesome, too.
