^ i just inquired at Fashion Institute QC branch last saturday.  their basci sewing class is 10k.  Teaching daw is 1-on-1, and you can go to the school any time you want M-Sat as long as it's within their open hours.  You need to complete 6 projects within 6 months.  Use of the machines is first come, first serve, so if you go there and all machines are taken, you'll need to wait for someone to finish

^it's at the 3/F of OctoArts building in Panay Avenue.  You can enroll anytime during their opening hours (M-Sat 930 am-6pm).  Yep, am planning to enroll in June :-)

I'm back to sewing. My bf bought me a Brother CS6000i sewing machine. Though I would prefer a simpler, manual machine, this one actually is pretty darn amazing! I've made a floor pillow so far or a pouf. My next project is to make a maxi skirt

Sa Carolina's ako bumili (top floor ng Glorietta V? Not sure if it's V, basta yung newest building nila). They have lots of colors. I rarely buy fabric from Divisoria---pag lang bulk ang kailangan ko, which doesn't happen often. Sobrang nakakapagod kasi pumunta dun.

also interested in sewing here, but with zero background. seriously thinking about taking up the basic sewing class in FIP, just to gain the knowledge. anyone here currently attending that class? or planning to sign up? o meron ba kayong marerecommend na mas cheaper but as intensive na sewing class? ang mahal kasi, 10K

for those wondering about where to buy telas - kung game kayo mastress ng konti, go to divi or taytay. kung gusto niyo ng convenience, go to the malls (mega, glorietta, market market)

im really disappointed right now. i called singer philippines.. wala yung mga gusto kong machine kainis. very limited lang yung choices. mukhang babagsqak ako sa singer talent 

nung tumawag ako sa singer ayaw sabihin price ng 3323 talent sa phone. kainis. punta na lang daw ako sa store sa abad santos. ano kaya yun? kaya nga tumawag para kapag punta doon alam kung magkano na. kakainis talaga

sino po dito may singer 3323 talent? how much po bili niyo?

Anybody who owns a serger? I want one so bad. My machine still rocks my world but a serger would give a nice touch/ finish to my projects.
