boybands!!! -- BSB, N Sync, Boyzone, 911, Take That, Ultra, Code Red -- dakilang taga subaybay talaga ako ng mga 'to. i even had magazines and posters nila, haha. i can't believe ginastusan ko ang addiction kong ito noon!

^ haha ako din sis, lahat ng pera ko sa magazines napupunta. mostly para sa pin-ups haha. everytime na may uuwi from the states, alam na nila na BOP magazine (na laging si JTT ang nasa cover haha) ang pasalubong sakin. one of my fondest memories is watching MTV all day, nung "music television" pa siya haha. kahit ilang beses pa palabas mv ng fave artists ko, di ako nagsasawa. ah, those were the days

i super love the 90's! Oh my gulay boybands and girlbands galore, MTV generation yun! i would watch MTV the whole day to catch the latest music videos.

I even remember purchasing yung mga tiger beat & teen beat mags dati, looking back now, kadiri pala haha!

^grabe hindi naman kadiri yung mga foreign mags ang mahal kaya nun at effort pa talaga ang pagbili ko nyan babyahe pa ako papunta ng kabihasnan magkaron lang ng Magazine na nasa cover ang HANSON.

90's was my transition from pop to alternative hehe.. everywhere you turn it's boybands, girlbands, boy-girl bands, boybands packaged as bands (e.g. hanson, moffats)! thanks to 99.5 rt and k-lite i found alternative music. alleluiah!

i definitely remember the local opm bands - especially eraserheads and rivermaya. my classmates and i usually sing to their songs especially during our breaktime and field trips. hayyy.. brings back memories...

Ang tawag pa dati, DISCO, hindi pa club.

Uso yung nireremix yung songs para sa disco. Sikat na sikat nun yung "set a drift on memory bliss" by pm dawn. Tsaka yung "zoom", "angelina", "i just wanna be close to you" by whigfield, "missing you" by meja, songs of ace of base, "tom's diner", "human", "til they take my heart away" by claire marlow, "boom shak a lak" by apache indian,, "short short man", "carolina" by shaggy, "elevate my mind" by stereo mc, "extacy, extano".... hay the list goes on and on and on.....

Alala nyo uso rin dati yung mga bass? May bass hour pa dati sa radio, lower frequency yun e. Tapos madalas ring magpatugtog ng mga songs dun na pang disco. Hahahaha! Disco talaga e 

Alala ko nung 1st year hs ako napressure ako memorize-in yung "stay " by lisa loeb kasi sikat na sikat nun. Nung tinugtog sa bus in one of our fieldtrips grabe lahat kumakanta e.

^^Me too. I miss the 90s so much, my favorite decade. Aside from the awesome music, back then everything seemed so simple and less complicated.

proud to say na lumaki ako sa 90's era. 

I still remember the songs like Close to You, I Swear, Dying Inside at Always (with matching choreo)

Sa boybands, I won't forget kung paano asarin nung mga guy classmates ko yung mga girl classmates dahil pinagtatalunan ng huli kung sino ang magaling at mga gwapo - backstreetboys vs Nsync at Moffats vs Hansons! 

My favorite bands that time are Introvoys (I had my first own CD tape) at The Corrs!

And oh, the FM stations that time are in friendly competition with each other. Walang siraan, walang double meaning at nagbibigay talaga ng relaxing sounds to my ear. Kahit saan ko ilipat na frequency halos magaganda ang tracks!

I think that the 90s is the greatest decade in music. The music is so diverse. I grew up listening to grunge bands, slow rock, opm bands, girl groups and boy bands. OPM was very alive back then unlike now puro revivals na lang halos.
Nung elementary ako usong uso yung Eraserheads.. meron ako nung Cutterpillow album tapos sobrang favorite ko yung Huling El Bimbo, kinakanta namin lagi nung childhood crush ko haha.
Tapos asar pa nga ako kasi nasira yung Overdrive track kasi tinry namin i-backmask lol.

Naalala ko pa adik din kami ng ate ko sa Introvoys tapos crush na crush namin si Paco haha.. nanood pa kami nung concert ng Introvoys at After Image sa Folk Arts.
Gosh those were the days..

Usong uso din yung mga countdown sa radio lalo sa LS, tumatawag pa kami ng ate ko para bumati tapos ibang pangalan ginagamit namin hahaha..
Grabe tapos idol na idol ng ate ko si Alanis, sobrang overplayed yung Jagged Little Pill sa amin.

Tapos yung mga artists nun sobrang big deal kapag may dumarating sa Pinas unlike now parang hindi na ganon ka-exciting.
Naalala ko pa nung nagpunta dito yung Bon Jovi, nanood yung pinsan ko tapos nagkastampede daw sa Rizal Memorial.

Gosh ang daming sumikat na bands nun lalo na grunge. Favorite kong pakinggan yung Nevermind album ng Nirvana, saka yung Contagion. Tapos uso din yung mga new wave songs.

I'm so happy na lumaki ako sa 90s music, it was such a privilege to experience that awesome era.
