who's into music of the 90's?

i like the oldschool hiphop music..

run dmc, house of pain, mc hammer, black machine, arrested devt.,

also the opm artists na sikat that time,

louie heredia, dingdong avanzado, manilyn reynes (star of the new decade) and rodel naval (do u know him?)

just post your fave music and artists evolved during the 90's

ahh the 90s...

Fell in love with Gun's N Roses, Bon Jovi, basically all bands in the 90s. I also loved Eric Clapton's unplugged.

this was a good decade for local bands too. (eheads, razorback, wolfgang)

And probably Rock and Roll's "second birth."

^oh yes! old school hip-hop music. i also love 90's rnb/soul songs (mariah carey, TLC, mary j. blige, etc.)

definitely the pinoy bands! eheads, yano, the wuds, wolfgang, grindept and a lot more! Yung mga song ng mga banda nung 90's were really far from great sa mga bands ngayon.

90's tanda ko  Britpop (Oasis, Blur, Suede, Radiohead, Pulp) and alternative/indie/grunge sa States (NIrvana, etc.).  Nauso yung alternative saten (those iampennylane mentioned) and folk rock and underground (or unsigned). They make songs about anything or about nothing hindi lang basta love or senti.
Sikat mga banda noon, tsaka talagang tinatangkilik. Kilala lahat ng members ng banda. AfterImage, Color it Red and Introvoys, True Faith, Side-A and the Dawn, are among the sikat those days. It was fun watching those bands on TV. Nowadays you get to see stars doing their version of US hits or mga artista na pinipilit kumanta.
I still have the tapes of those bands (take note, tapes). The first cd I ever bought in the late 90's was, of all bands???, Universal Motion Dancer's "Dancing with the Motion". Listening to it now, it's kinda fun.

wow sis, I totally remember rodel naval, right now, I'm currently downloading his songs. yung sister niya may mga uploaded videos ni rodel sa youtube, check niyo.

I really liked 90's songs kasi karamihan may meaning yung kanta di tulad ng ngayon.

Int'l: Take That [Robbie Williams! lol], Kavana, Edwin Mccain, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morisette, Boy/Girl bands [BSB,Spice Girls etc], MC Hammer, Grunge, Cher, Aerosmith, TLC, usually mga R&B singers sumikat ng 90's.

Local: karamihan sa mga banda na nabanggit ni sis badcover. Among my faves are True Faith, Side A, Eheads and the Dawn

i love the 90's!!! my favorite era in music. :D

halos lahat ng boybands, girlbands and brit artists gusto ko nun. lolz! in the local scene naman, eheads and side a are my faves.

gusto ko rin mga pinoy bands na sumikat nung 90s. yung yano, wolfgang, the youth hahaha pati the weeds ba yun? yung kumanta ng long hair pero one hit wonder lang hehe kaaliw ang local band scene nun. madalas pa ko manood ng music bureau para lang makita mga sikat na bands :D

I love 90s music. I mostly listened to rap back then, na-influence ng kapatid. Not a fan of rock music pa ko nun. I listened to 2pac, Notorious BIG, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg (I prefer his old music kesa ngayon), Wu Tang Clan, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, So So Def, Warren G, The Dove Shack, Death Row and Eazy E.
