^ Santiago, you mean? Yap yap! Galeng nga eh. Only knew about it probably just a few years ago -- my fascination with their sound happened wayyyyy before I bothered to look into the members. Was already listening to 'em even before Nirvana exploded into the mainstream. Recently ko lang nalaman that Cobain had been sort of a Pixies fan, or at least he acknowledged them.

Yup! Cobain even mentioned before that "he was trying to rip off the pixies" when he made smells like teen spirit. But that Santiago dude is good! I believe he also did session works for the breeders when the pixies where on hiatus.

I like your choices, too, summersong. My gosh, I love Chris Cornell's voice. He recently had a concert where I live but it was on a weekday. Tsk. And Stone Temple Pilots are coming up with a new album, that should be good.

I'm going to see Staind, Chevelle and Halestorm next week! Yay!

Chris Cornell's cover of Elvis Costello's Peace Love Understanding is very good. I love his gravelly voice.

I'm currently revisiting Temple of the Dog songs. Oh, 90's rock is sooo transcendent. Eddie Vedder + Chris Cornell is just undeniably awesome.

Wow schiz, how was the concert?

If Vedder and Cornell are ever included in just one session/concert sometime in the near future, I'd be there kung san man gaganapin yun hehe. Kung andun pa Pixies, baka himatayin na ko haha. After that I'd be flashing a silly grin for at least a month, I think.

I always associate Jeff Buckley with Last Goodbye.

Animal Collective.. I've heard the name before though I've never had the chance to check out their songs. Yet. East Coast group nga ba?

^^Summersong, Halestorm was amazing-- the lead singer's vocals is topnotch. Chevelle was so-so. Pete Loeffler whispered his lyrics but at least he was cute. Staind was ammmmazing as always. I almost got caught in a growing mosh pit but hey, it's part of the rock concert experience, right?

I heard an unverified rumor that Soundgarden may be getting back together? I thought Chris Cornell said that was over ages ago.

i like rock music! i didn't know that most of the songs i like are rock pala.

I'm currently listening to hard rock artists like Slipknot and Disturbed. Sabi ng mga kapatid ko (all of them boys) bakit daw naging hard rocker na ko haha Well, I like the sound. Dati kasi I hate hard rocks pero when I listened to the beat of the song especially the guitar and the drums, nakaka-hooked pala.

Pasok din ba ang Weezer? cause I'm loving their album Pork and Beans. Pati Taking Back Sunday's newest album rocks.
