Japanese audience are really great! Kaya hindi sila nawawala sa listahan ng mga rock bands kapag nagto-tour na sila eh.

^^^ no sis, KOL went to Japan before (for the Fujirock Fest i think) but mukhang wala silang plans to go back anytime soon - at least wala sa tour list nila right now. maybe sa next album nila kasama na Asia? hehe wishful thinking lang

Nainggit ako sa officemate ko nung nag-UK tour ang KOL sakto kase vacation nya sa UK that time, never heard them before pero nung narinig ko galing!

^ i love their "Only By The Night" album, sis. i am also a Foo Fighter fan, their acoustic version of Times Like These is usually on repeat on my pod.

hmmm, Pink Floyd... for me, they're rock gods. my fave is their Final Cut album.

I love listening to him when I'm angry...
"the deepest blues are black" is one is my favorites when I'm venting anger... hahahaha

Myoooze!! Big fan and a strict follower of the band (virtually).
I'm pretty sure magkakaron ng Asian tour, hindi ko lang alam ang date. Last quarter of this year magsisimula ang European tour nila after supporting U2 at some US play dates. So baka mga mid to late 2010 ang Asian tour. *fingers cross*

^Friendly Fires atm is an indie band, a crossover of rock and disco. Somewhat similar to Franz Ferdinand. Try to listen to Paris and Photobooth. Epic tunes.

Sis, I have some fine tunes from Franz Ferdinand

They sound like bit of Fun Loving Criminals

I can also recommend some indie-rock bands from UK introduced to me by my Brit officemate...

The Fratellis (I think they go mainstream now, Chelsea Dagger and Ole Black n Blue Eyes are my fave)
Scouting for Girls (They are somewhat UK pop, She's So Lovely and It's not about you)
The Supernaturals (Stupid Love song)
The Kooks (Sofa Song and Seaside mejo mellow but sounds good)
The Libertines (Don't Look Back into Sun)
Kaiser Chief ( I Predict a Riot)
Fun Loving Criminals (rock, rap tunes)
Ash (too many to mention all their good songs)

yes they were but Ash had the Free All Angles albums in 2002 (all good tracks)... my friend told me this was the first band he saw live at the tender age of 17.

I like all their albums I think I have all of them including singles.

Libertines I have their Up the Brackets album release in 2003.

I forgot to include Gene this was also 90s and early 2000.

Ash live? not yet how I wish! I have friends here whose from the UK and they've been telling me stories whenever they see these bands live in concert. painggit ang mga bitoy!

good list sis aeon - I have most of these bands on my playlist someone's been patient enough to give me these fine tunes.

I love the fratellis, ocean colour scene, ash and the kooks.
Maximo Park, I still don't have any tracks from this band... I want to listen to them maganda daw sabe ng friend ko...
