Super late reply, Cambridge is for toddler is 65-70K, inclusive of everything na.  Nursery mas mahal ng 15%

I have a neighbor kasi who enrolled her son there last year, una super good feedbacks nya kasi she was able to sit in, maganda nga daw. tapos ngayon na nagppreshcool hunting na din ako...i asked her again about DML, pero nilipat nya na pala yung son nya..kasi na-trauma daw yung kid..may pagka-hyper kasi yung bata di pa sure kung may adhd..pero just to give you a picture..parang na-bigla sya sa school (DML)..to the point daw na umiiyak na sya at nagwawala kapag nakikita yung uniform.

That's why ive thought na baka traditional yung approach ng DML (not sure?)...kasi kung super hyper an bata siguro dapat sa progressive school diba? ngayon naka enroll daw sa KIdskul near Maxs Roces na maskonti yng students compare sa dml..so ichecheck ko din yun. But DML is also on my list..baka pwede naman kasi sa daughter ko na, id like to think na normal lang ang kakulitan

^ I'm not sure.  What I know is that nuns run the school so maybe, traditional nga ang approach.  Misnomer ang "Montessori" in the name, in that case.

My friend sent her daughters to DML for pre-school (despite living in faraway Antipolo) because she likes the fact that nuns run the school.  Her daughters are doing well in Assumption San Lo.

DML has been around for a long time.  Some of my classmates in grade school (and I attended grade school a decade ago) went to DML for nursery.  That may explain the method.  But check with the school na lang kung ano ang philosophy nila.

Update:  My friend said DML does not strictly adhere to the Montessori method.  It is actually geared towards getting kids accepted to big, traditional schools, most especially Xavier and ICA since the bulk of the students are of Chinese descent.

My daughter now goes to DML Montessori, and I am very happy with the school. Sis, it is very normal for kids to be makulit, pero I guess if may ADHD yung kid nung neighbor mo, better if the kid is placed in a school with a smaller number of kids, and those who really accept kids with the condition.

My daughter used to have a classmate na ganon as in I saw him the first few days of school kasi nagbantay ako sa daughter ko. After a few days yung parents na yata ang nag-voluntary withdrawal nung bata kasi talagang you would notice iba talaga yung likot niya. As in he never sat down, nung first day of class, siyempre bago lahat ng gamit ng bata so yung crayons sealed pa, he started opening them tapos sumusulat sa board. Tapos, since first day yon,  the board had a welcome signage with decorations. Hala, pinagpupunit na yung mga decorations sa board. One of the nuns (there are 2 in each class), hindi na nakakatulong sa pag-assist sa class coz she kept on running after the little boy.

Maawa ka dun sa bata when you think of it, kaya lang kasi paano naman yung other kids? As in very distracting kasi, tapos he kept on hurting the other children pa (for no reason at all, he choked this little girl, as in wala lang, lumapit lang siya dun sa bata then sinakal niya, tapos this same little girl, who's very very quiet, nakaupo lang, tapos lumapit na naman siya, tapos tinulak niya ng tinulak hanggang sa mahulog sa upuan).

DML is good, not only for those who want to make it to Xavier and Ica. Nakakapasa din ng Ateneo ang students from DML, and they are also one of the feeder schools for Miriam.

Your daughter is going to enjoy it there (and you will, too) kasi marami din silang school programs. The nuns are very nice (not the strict, scary type). Basta ako, I am really happy with DML. =)

Sabi ng mom ko kami ng twin sis ko is from DML nung maliit pa kami. Ok daw dun but my pedia said that they have many students sort of over-crowded. Can any of you mga sis verify this? I'm planning to send my 2.6yr old daughter to DML, Paref-Rosefield, Mother Goose Nursery, Kinderhaus, or The Learning Tree. Any comments/suggestions? TIA

^hey sis yellowbell, this June na ba start kid mo ng school? We have almost the same options for schools.. hmm.. kaso i dont have time to do occulars and further research. May i ask kelan ba usually ang enrollment? baka kasi ma-late na pala kami di ko pa alam. thanks!

Hi sis pinkcoyote....june halos lahat start ng classes. I'm planning to enroll my little girl sa summer class para daw masanay na siya sa school environment at hindi siya mabigla sa june.

I live in new manila area kasi sis so mga pinili kong school malapit sa QC area. I prefer PAREF on top of all. Ikaw sis?

May open house daw sa jan 28 sa kinderhaus pupunta kami ni hubby. I'll post mga observations ko after i visit the schools one by one hehe

hi mga sis.  anyone here from mandaluyong?  my daughter is turning 3 this saturday.  she is so makulit na about going to school.  there is a preschool here in our condo but wont accept her anymore because they are strictly montessori daw.  so hindi pwede tipong saling pusa because they have actually lesson plans, exams and all that for nursery.

any recommendations pa mga sis?  ayaw ng husband ko ng mall based play school eh... masyado daw magiging magastos kaming mag ina. hehe

^ Sis, try Explorations in San Juan.  It's a progressive school.  My friends send their kids there and they're happy about the school.

Sis, the Montessori method is structured in a way because of the prepared environment but the child is free to choose the activities based on his skills level.  The teacher is there to guide the child.  Hindi siya yung tipong traditional classroom na may iisang lesson for everyone.  The teacher plans a course of learning tailored to each child.
