we had a trial class with TU last month. ok naman sya but we went to the saturday class lang. it was really more of a playgroup than an actual class. the teachers were very approachable and they're very alert on what the kids are doing. they usually give detailed reports on the 3x a week class but for the 1x a week, you can chat up the teachers. they say that the teachers will be able to better track the kids' progress ofcourse when they see the kids more.

hi mga sis.  anyone here from mandaluyong?  my daughter is turning 3 this saturday.  she is so makulit na about going to school.  there is a preschool here in our condo but wont accept her anymore because they are strictly montessori daw.  so hindi pwede tipong saling pusa because they have actually lesson plans, exams and all that for nursery.

any recommendations pa mga sis?  ayaw ng husband ko ng mall based play school eh... masyado daw magiging magastos kaming mag ina. hehe

if they have exams and a lot of sit down paper and pencil tasks... thats a traditional school and not a montessori school. In Phil Montessori and Casa Montessori the two oldest and most authentic one in the country they only use paper and pencil tasks to supplement. There are also no rigid lesson plans bec montessori is individual based and they learn by manipulating motessori materials and work at their own pace

i'm checking out the preschool in parkwoods. parang ok din yung summer classes nila. atleast malapit lang sa amin. sana hindi super mahal. hehe

Have you guys heard of The Seed Montessori School? They sent me an email pertaining to my inquiry about their tuition fees. Here's their reply:

Casa: 41k; Grade school: 47k; HS: 52K... Please give some feedback re: this school.

Also how about NEST School of Tina Zamora?

i just enrolled my daughter this morning sa preschool inside our condo compound here in mandaluyong.  IMC - Integrated Montessori Center.

Last month, the teacher toured me around the classroom and explained what montessori teaching is.  ayun she showed me a lot of wooden materials and others that i never encountered in traditional school.  they even have a material to teach a child the value of concentration.  so she explained to me what happens in the 2.5hrs class per day.  ayun like 45 mins of it goes to a child working with montessori materials by herself and the teacher guiding her.

there will be 15 students in one class.  1 teacher and 1 teacher aide.

tapos my daughter had an oral evaluation with the teacher.  i saw more how they work with the montessori materials.

anyways, the tuition is 45K Annual.  Ok naman na diba mga sis?

i insisted sa husband ko dito nalang papasukin daughter namin eh.  the teachers are super pasensyosa, straight english and perfect grammar and super pleasant pa.  i googled their website and ok naman ang background and history ng founder ng school.  they even have branches in other cities.

share ko lang din, i saw sana a murang traditional preschool outside the condo.  tuwang tuwa ako upon finding out that the tuition is only 15K.  so i requested mag sit in ako the next day.  naloka ako sa teacher.  super taray!  eh ang activity ng kids, pinapa sulat yung full name nila sa pad paper, back to back.  as in pag mali yung kids she goes "diba paulit ulit na ko?  pag big letters, blue line to blue line!"  and then there was one kid na embrace ng embrace sa kanya.  she faced me and said "tignan mo to mommy, parang pusa oh!"  tapos the kids are getting magulo, ginamit pa kong props ni teacher tinakot yung kids, sabi "Si Maam, shes watching oh.  kung sinong magulo she will take and mag ride kayo sa police patrol car.  she will take you to the barangay station!"  super duper turned off talaga ako kaya sabi ko sa asawa ko, kahit na 3x yung tuition dito sa montessori, dito nalang tayo.

I just enrolled my daughter today at Gingerbread Haus of Learning  along Congressional Ave for the Toddler Summer class. Fee is P6500. Class would start on April 12- May 14, M-F 9-11am. The reception and waiting areas are situated on the ground floor. The play area, classroom, library and washroom are at the 2nd floor. It was funny because they have a common room for the wash area. The play area is colorful and padded. There was Little Tikes house, slide, cars and a lot of other toys! Seemed that my daughter liked the place! When we got home, she looked for her backpack and shoes and told me "Mommy, Janina will go to school!"

i would recommend [textspeak!] school ngaun ng kids ko: Child Learning Center along Reposo, Milagros St..
They  have parang "saling pusa" as PreNursery... for 3.5 Senior Nursey.
They have summer classes din, try to sit-in and inquire.
I so love the school kaya hindi ako ngdadalawang isip, i-enroll din ang 2nd child ko at i-recommend sa ibang parents... even the tuition fee are just right.

They have summer classes din, try to sit-in and inquire.
I so love the school kaya hindi ako ngdadalawang isip, i-enroll din ang 2nd child ko at i-recommend sa ibang parents... even the tuition fee are just right.
