Hi, I was browsing the forum for this thread and I cannot find it anymore.

Anyway, my daughter's itching to go to preschool already. I could call and call every school in the directory but nothing compares of course to first hand experiences from you, mommies.

So please, help!

I was able to contact Little Sandbox, mukhang ok their curriculum.

I'll schedule a trial class for her soon, will give feedback.

nikz, ayaw mo try I.S.Y.C.? It's just behind Blue Wave, Marquinton. Ok dun nikz. If you'll enroll Mia this June, she'll be in a toddler class. 2:10 teacher student ratio. I think 55k tuition. Not sure if it'll increase this schoolyear.

meron ba silang installment schemes? Mabigat din ang 55k pag cash kasi.  Yun kasi yung ok sa Sandbox, meron silang monthly, quarterly, cash, etc etc pero a bit far nga satin.

my problem with Sandbox lang talaga is the location, with ISYC naman yung payment scheme, I need to ask.

nakapasa baby ko sa interview sa hope christian high school.so, from mp1 magiging mp2 na cya kc advance daw brain ni baby ko.so far,na tour ko school nila.mukhang maganda naman.not only the school but yun mga materials na ginagamit nila.at mga cousins nya dyan nagaral.maganda naman yun montesorri nila.balita ko nasa 52k tuition for one year

   hi mommies. my son is throwing a long tantrums this past few days, as in marunong na syang magalit. and saying NO to everything we offer. hindi na sya madaling utuin. am alarmed with his acts. do you think makakatulong sa kanya if enroll ko siya sa preschool. my son is 2y4m. old.

one more thing pala, before mo siya pag enroll for the whole school year, try mo muna siya pag summer class. most of these preschools offer summer classes which usually lasts for 3weeks - 1month. dun mo rin kasi malalaman kung ready na mag aral ang anak mo at kung gusto niya sa school na yun.

starting next month pwede ka na mag inquire sa summer classes. ako kasi ganun muna ginawa ko pinag enroll ko muna anak ko ng summer and buti naman nagustuhan niya then yun tinuloy tuloy ko na.

Sis, anak ko nag aaral sa cambridge, yung toddler class nila nasa 65k ang tuition, nursery is around 70+k pa, then next nila is nursery 2. kasama na sa tuition yung snacks at mga field work.

yung daughter ko 5 yrs old at enrolled sya sa kinder ngayon.
overseas kami pero enrolled sya sa philippine school dito na accredited by DECS.
ang question ko lang, pinag aaralan na ba talaga yung addition sa kinder pa lang? nagulat ako, eh pano pa kaya pag nag grade six sya, baka di ko na makayanan yung mga pinag aaralan nila sa math etc...

i'm also looking for a pre-school for my kids. we went to Phil Montessori (White Plains)  last week and here are my comments:

- very nice classrooms. big, well-lit, airconditioned.
- practices "legit" montessori learning system. around 20 kids per teacher (medyo mataas yung ratio considering na mahal tuition fee)
- kids are very well-behaved (in the 2 classes that i've observed)
- very good teachers
- tuition - SUPER EXPENSIVE. It's now  at Php160k (80k per sem). You can either pay per sem or per year. No monthly payment scheme. Included na lahat pati snacks. Pagpapasok yung kid mo, they only need to bring extra clothes in case they get dirty.

I really like the school but we're still going to visit a few other schools para may comparison. We've scheduled a visit to Casa Montessori (Forbes, Makati) this week. We're also considering Explorations (Addition Hills, Mandaluyong, practices Progressive method) and Cambridge (BHS, progressive-electic method).

World of Wonder Preschool in Parañaque.  Good teachers and reasonable tuition fee. Value for money in other words.

how about MotherGoose Playskool? I'm having a hard time here. My son right now is enrolled in a playschool near our place. The only problem i have with this school is the long hours. 5hours sila school. Its a daycare/preschool. my hubby and I are planning to enroll him at ateneo. But I was told that 6yrs old ang accept nila for prep. so 2 more years pa pala bago makapag exam ang anak ko dun. Now im torn between enrolling him sa traditional school or sa progressive school. baka kasi naman ma pressure siya agad kapag traditional school na. My nieces and my friends kids transferred their kids to traditional school at age 5 pa. help naman po.

hello po mga sis.. im glad mayroon pong thread na katulad ng problem ko ngayon.. my daughter is turning 3 this april, at 2, she can already recite and recognize A-Z, count from 1-20 straight 21-40 mejo utal, can write some letters and shapes.. she is very active, loves writing, playing computer,performing, and very sweet.. napakadaldal at mahilig maglitanya, i dont know san nya kinukuha mga sinasagot nya.. gusto na din nya magschool, my problem po is nangjojombag.. if i enrolled her to school, baka makapanakit at magalit ang mga parents..

i need some advice..

plus gusto ko din malaman if she is considered gifted.. san po kaya ako pwede magtanong? thanks in advance..

hi sis, im very near blue wave kace, and my son is already 2.5 by june plan ko narin ciang i enroll kahit toddler class lang, would you know how old yung inaacept nila sa toddler class? TIA

ganun din son ko noon. naku, makakita lang ng bata hala inaatake na. [textspeak!] nanggigigil. parang ito siguro ang play sa kanya. but when he entered preschool nawala naman. almost 3 siya nang mag-preschool.

seems your daughter is showing giftedness. but the only way you'll really know is when she's enrolled and how she is faring with her peers.

compare mo siya dito sa gifted characteristics na ito:

yellowmasquerade: my daughter had a classmate like that before.  mismo ang mom nagulat din coz she didn't expect her daughter to be like that. sa house daw kasi ok naman and she also plays with some kids din. the teachers were very helpful naman. they're always on the lookout din kasi minsan may dadaan lang na classmate, sisipain or sampalin nya lang for no reason. the teachers would always ask her to be friends with her classmates and to use gentle hands lang. nagigigil ata ang bata. summer class yun. the 1st month, we accompanied the kids inside the classroom. sa 2nd month, we reenrolled for another class and only the kids were allowed na sa class nila. mukhang nagadjust na din yung bata. i suggest you just inform the teachers of this para at least mabantayan nila. sa mga preschools din naman kasi who are into progressive teachings, konti lang naman students per class so matutukan nila. and since your child is more advanced for her age, progressive teachings will also adjust to your child's abilities. sa traditional kasi whether delayed ka or advance, same lang turo sa kids based on their lesson plan. hindi sila masyado flexible.
