isa to sa biz na gusto ko i put up noon wayback im starting on party biz palang..until now naman gusto ko pa rin kaya basa basa pa rin sa thread..

just like in party biz isip ko nun kung magki click since very much practical ang people nowadays and i dont think na mag splurge ang tao on fab parties.. but im wrong    ang pinoy mahilig sa events.. at mahilig sa memories.. laging tagline ang once in a lifetime lang to kya lets make the most of it.. 

and i believe sa travel biz ganyan din.. maraming gustong mag travel .. kahit ordinary na mammayan ngayon gusto rin mag tour .. kaya magkaron lang talaga ko ng bonggang time aatenan ko tong seminar sa trc.. meron daw sa june 9.. baka me gusto dito, sipagin akong umattend pag me kasabay

at balak ko na din i-give up yung share ko sa travel agency namin ng partner ko. wala naman problema. yun nga lang hindi ko na namomonitor because i am so busy with my other businesses, ayaw ko kase ng business na wala akong control or ni hindi ko man lang nasisilip ang book of accounts ..anyway, pag-iisipan ko pa ng mabuti. maganda naman kase ang income...so isip isip pa.

Gusto ko na mag-move on, gustong gusto ko na, kaso etong ex partner /ex cousin (pwede bang i-ex ang cousin? lol) ko hanggang sa mga ka-tie ups namin kung ano ano kasinungalingang sinasabi, kesyo hindi sya sa ken may utang kundi sa papa ko, e bruha pala sya may pinirmahan syang promissory note sa ken. Kainis! Pigil na pigil ako mag-spill sa kung bakit bigla hiwalay na kami yun pala sya tong tsismis ng tsismis. Sabi sa ken ni SMT/USSC (Btw, good job tong sila SMT ha, dinayo pa talaga ako dito sa Tuguegarao para mag-present ng bago nilang platform) kami daw ang humiwalay kaya sya bumalik na sa lungga nya, e sya nga tong nilayasan na lang basta tong main office. Crap talaga!

Haist anyways, nahiya ako, masyado ko ata sineryoso si Amadeus, 96% ang nakuha kong grade sa certification of distinction. Pero para saan, e sa magulang kong ex partner naka-install ang system. 

Mag-de-dedma mode na lang ako, at praying hard na sana tantanan na ako. Stop muna ako sa pakikipartner sa mga hindi ko talaga kilalang kamag-anak.

@ Sis Dolly. Just let it be. Kapag sinamahan kasi ang business ng bad vibes (such as bad mouthing others, panloloko etc.) bad karma lang kapalit nun at kahit gaano ka kasipag at gaano ka kagaling wala ring mangyayari. Be positive at positive karma din papasok sa iyo. Learned that the hard way too :-)

Ask ko lang if SMT/USSC is the same as VIA?

^ Yun na nga, yan na lang talaga iniisip ko. Kaya pinapakalma ko sarili ko, masaya naman ako kasi nakakabangon ako kahit papaano. Puro family ko clients ko e, saya-saya, kaso di ako maka-mark up ng malaki kasi sabit din ako sa mga trips nila kaya syempre libre na yung fare ko, parang yun na rin yung mark up ko hehe, not bad!

Sis, pm mo sa ken yung yahoo address mo, a-add kita sa contacts ko, madami ako inquiry ngayon e.

And yes, like VIA si SMT, magkalaban sila  Pero nacu-curious ako ke VIA, kaso may i-pa-franchise na rin akong isa pa, si VIA express naman, magkakalaban yang mga yan eh, possible naman na makuha mo sila lahat at magkaroon ng account sa bawat isa pwera lang kay via express, business center to eh kaya hindi lang sa ticketing nakatutok. At hindi ko sure kung magkalaban din sila ni VIA Philippines na binabanggit mo. Ang sure ko lang si SMT katulad ni VIA Express kaya magkalaban sila, and VIA Philippines, hindi ko kasi sure kung traveling lang talaga hawak nila unlike yung 2, business center din kasi sila.  Sorry gulo ko mag-explain.

I am using VIA and so far ok naman sya. Meron din syang loading systerm. Pero I am already an authorized dealer of Loadcentral so di ko sya masyado nagagamit. Interested ako dun sa bills payment ng SMT, me required deposit ba sila?

just like to share my experience in putting up a travel agency. i currently have one and we just turned 1 year old last June 15.  mahirap sya na masaya! like most of the girls here i have always dreamed of putting up one because of my love for travel.  so one day, i just attended the travel agency training offered by tlrc (apr 2011), after that i went full blast na with my plans.
hindi ko na tlaga inisip... plunged head first! feeling ko pag pinasok ko sya sigurado i will do everything to make it work! unless i make it my reality then wala lang... they remain as scribbles in my notebook!
i am very happy to share to everyone that it has been very fulfilling! talagang wala lang katumbas ang hard work... you need to market market market yourself! let people know what you offer! dahil sa pangungulit, on the first month of operations pa lang i was able to get a group tour to Europe!  Unang month palang ng travel agency ko, my transactions were already in the 700k.. earning a very comfortable commission from that sale. first month konti ang walk-in customers, mas madami ang kakilala na nagpapabook through fone and facebook.. after 2 months di na sila magkalayo! marami ng walk-in, madami na return customers..
travel agency business is a good business! it is a happy business kasi people who walk into your agency are really excited to travel! masaya silang pumapasok at gumagastos coz i think everybody loves a great but reasonable escapade... now yun ang trabaho natin sa agents... we have to make sure they return home happy and rested kasi that is the best marketing edge for new businesses!
basta lang pag pumasok sa negosyo na ito, make sure na you are ready to shed sweat, tears and sometimes nga pati blood na ata to do all the browbeating work! di po kasi kusang dadating ang san damakmak na customer ng di natin sila hinahanap!
we cannot stay in our comfortable little offices waiting for that customer to walk-in... you have to network!!!! give out flyers!! advertise online!! remind friends! constantly looking for possibilities kasi they are soooooo many people travelling these days... also when you finally get them to walk-in, make sure they walk out feeling na friends na kayo!
also, don't be overwhelmed with the details.  take it one at a time. kung ticketing muna ang iintindihin mo then make sure you understand it talaga.. for packages i started selling lang packages made by other agencies kasi accepted ko na di ko pa alam... wag muna kita ang tignan! pre-arranged packages are commissionable by only 10% pero sigurado ka na unlike the 20-30% you earn if you make your own! it is only when you have built enough confidence should you create your own kasi we never want to sacrifice the experience na makukuha ng customer natin.
that is just my two cents worth! hopefully we become friends in this industry soon! Tara na! =)

Hello mga ka-GT! Matagal na akong member dito kaya lang taga-basa lang ako lagi ng mga chikahan I badly need your help mga sissies since about travel agencies na rin ang topic dito I'm going to Germany this January 2013 and as part of the requirement for Schengen visa application I must provide round-trip plane ticket reservation. Sabi nila, through travel agencies lang daw yun pwede. Mga sis meron ba sa inyo na nagre-reserve ng tickets for international flights? Yung free sana. And gano katagal ba yung allowance na binibigay if ever I want to cancel it (for example, my visa application was denied). As per Germany embassy's policy, kelangan daw mag-apply ako ng visa 3 months before my departure so mga end of September or 1st week of October. Bale Manila to Frankfurt yung ruta tapos my preferred dates are Jan 4 or 5 to 19; or Jan 11 or 12 to 26. I hope merong makatulong sa'kin dito. Yun kasi ang una kong kelangang i-ayos para makapag-move on ako sa mga next requirements.

Hello mga sissies, i also want to start this type of business, my husband and i is eyeing for this business kase nga we travel a lot plus all of his friends were visiting philippines on a regular basis. My location na kami and capital... But the problem is i have a best friend for more than 20 yrs now na may ganitong business in quezon city she's into the business for more than 5 years na, when i mention to her na im we are also planning to put up this business, nagalit sya at sinabi nyang ang dami naman pwedeng maisipang business bat gaya gaya pa kayo... So im hesitant na magstart ng ganitong business although ito talaga un passion ng hubby ko ...magkalayo kami ng area, sa qc sya tapos sa paranaque naman ako pero syempre may mga common circle of friends kami she also forwarded all her travel packages to me nung magoffer ako na gawan sya ng website, pero that was the time na hindi naman ako interested for travel agency...so walang appeal...but still, that's her travel packages na inooffer, baka kasi sabihin nya, kokopyahin ko ideas nya. Ganyan kase naisip nya when one of her friends asked her about how to manage travel agency, sobrang nagalit sya when after six months, nagtayo yung friend nya ng agency which is from different area too... I dont know if i should just change my mind or is there a best solution na pwedeng gawin like makitie up ako sa kanya? Not sure naman kung IATA sya kase home based un business nya. ...... May commercial space na akong nakareserve for this business but im still hesitant as i dont want to ruin our friendship, eh si hubby ko ang sabi business is business at magkaiba naman daw kami ng area... Sorry mg sissies ang haba pero wala lang talaga akoatanungan, sa mga may travel agency na business sana masagot nyo ako.... Thanks a lot...im just really sad about this
