Mga sis just saw your posts, I just opened my Travel Agency here in BF Resort Las Pinas. Pero nag train ako sa TLRC under kay Charlie Estacion. Regarding sa IATA tie up may module ang TLRC na may field trip na ipapakilala kayo sa mga IATA agencies kaya may supplier na kayo

Mga sis be careful sa mga nag ooffer ng franchise and trainings. Make sure na credible agencies yun kase kayo mapapahiya sa clients nyo in the future. Madami sa akin nag offer ng franchise ng travel agency pero nung niresearch ko lugi ako kase naka lock in ako sa rates nila. Eh syempre ang clients nag cacanvass yan sa mura.

Kung wala kayong capital muna I suggest start small muna at home, advertise with your friends or offer to help them find good rates for their travels. Don't be pressured na mag IATA kase pag nag IATA ka na dapat nasa P30M na capital nyo and super dami requirements. Wag muna din kayo ma pressure mag pakabit ng Abacus or Amadeus kase baka hindi pa kayanin ng volume ng clients nyo medyo mahal and monthly rate. Pero pag medyo madami na kayong clients may quota ang Abacus na free na kayo monthly

Pero if you have a good location with reasonable price of rent I suggest setting up an office. Madaming nag wawalk in at syempre yung iba they prefer to see an actual travel agency office for their transactions.

wanna pursue this na talaga, hahaha, hopefully before the year ends. gusto ko sana talaga home based...para hindi naman masyadong magastos ang start up, i already have a PC and internet connection.
 may prospect na akong agency na IATA member, yun nga lang di ko pa nakakausap (bleh)

Amadeus has an offer na upon subscription wala kang monthly fees for the 1st 4 months After the 4th month dun ka lang ichacharge kung hindi ka nakaka reach ng quota

Ang pinaka magandang ka tie up na IATA agency yung maasikaso kase kahit malaking IATA agencies minsan suplada mga reservation officers na assigned sayo so baka hindi ma service needs nyo Look thru the internet and you can see madami dyan. You can visit them personally to introduce yourself and your travel agency

pasensya na po di ako makakabackread masyado, so if ever may nakasagot na sa tanong ko pa-reply na lang po. ask ko kase sana kung san travel agency may promo ngayon for first time immigrant. preferably for august 11-31 na cheapest fare na non-stop sana. for my aunt kase to. tinutulungan ko lang humanap ng ticket. or any travel agency na marerefer kayo, pa-om na lang po, thanks!
