sis purpleish, i got these from my mom too. when she travels locally, lagi may baon from pastries, chocolates and big bottled water She avoids buying food sa airport [textspeak!] daw 2xx or 3xx ang prices.

There was a time na nag-boracay kme and my dad ordered cofee in one posh hotel. The waiter came back with a small cup with hot water and sachets of nescafe (the plain one which retail around P5 and coffee mate). When we asked for the bill, P120 pala yung order na yun. Parang lagnatin ang mom ko. Sabi nya " We've just been robbed!" LOL. I guess, yung pagiging matipid nya is beginning to rub on me.

I'll be flying to Boracay with PAL econo light this last week of May. Balak kong i-hand carry na lang lahat so that means I'm allowed of 7 kilos. All in, tingin ko di naman 7 kilos yung big duffel bag ko. But can I still bring other bags such as my small slr camera bag and a big (pero hindi naman oversized) shoulder bag? TIA!

be careful of buying mga duty-free items if you have to pass through another airport for your connecting flight. sometimes they are very strict about carry-on luggage.

may nakasabay ako sa dubai airport, yung mga binili nila na mga perfumes and alak na more than 100 ml sa duty-free, di pinayagan i-carry on kasi di daw papayag ang changi airport na i-carry-on yun. they had to check it in. who knows kung anong condition na ng mga yun after being checked-in.

they were going to brisbane via singapore while i was getting off in singapore.

better siguro if you just buy sa duty-free sa destination airport na.

^ pwede magdala ng formula milk sis. just not in huge quantities...not more than 3 oz. dapat. i-separate zip lock bag mo din. and you have to declare na meron kang dalang formula milk or breast milk. or baby food or kung [textspeak!] man yang pang infant. you might want to read this.

^ yung nabasa ko is for international flights. siguro naman for domestic flights mas maluwag sila...just tell them that it's for your baby. kaya yan kung 30 mins lang yung flight sis.

Pag GO Lite ka, no check-in bags allowed. Hanggang  handcarry bag ka lang up to 7kgs only.
As for LAGs (liquid, aerosol, gels) in your handcarry, allowed ka in containers not more than 100ml each and the containers should comfortably fit in one liter-sized bag.

sis ganyan den ginawa ng mom ko...pinag isa niya lang yung gamit nila ng dad ko sa iisang handcarry na bag...ang nangyari ng bayad tuloy sila ng mga P400 sa pag check in...ang sabi nung babae sa kanila na dapat bukod talaga yung 7 kilos

this might be too late...they're lenient naman with the water as long as they see that you're travelling with a baby. better siguro if you bring the water not placed in the baby bottle. it should be in an unopened mineral water bottle, with the seal still intact. when we went for an international flight last year, i brought with us 11 bottles of dr edwards. they asked me if para saan and when they saw that I'm travelling with a baby, they let us go.

nung last ng go lite namin, tig-2 handcarry bags kami ng kasama ko, pwede naman.
actually nung nagcheckin kami sa Mactan Airport, hinde na tinimbang yung dala namin, tiningnan lang nila, kinakabahan nga ako kasi sobrang puno yung mga bags namin. feeling ko eh tinamad lang yung mga nasa check in counter nung time na yun kaya tiningnan na lang nila sa mata. 

as for cologne and lotion, di ako sure dyan, nung flight namin going to Bora, tinanong kami may dala kaming lotion, sabi ko oo, ilang ml daw, eh hinde ko naman alam kung ilan ang exact so sabi ko na lang mga 10 ml siguro, tapos bigla na lang sinabi ok na daw yun. hinandcarry ko yung bag ko nun.

mga sis bsta pag go-lite as long na tig 7Kilo per bag walang problema...take note per person po ito ha...

hi, i will travel by air for the very first time through PAL.  First time din kasi ng kasama ko na mag-travel by air. Both of us are clueless on what to do upon arrival at the  NAIA Terminal 2, and we haven't been to NAIA Terminal 2 either. Please give me some tips on what to do at the airport. What should we expect there Thanks in advance.

^sis, naalala ko tuloy nun first time ko sumakay ng eroplano. mag isa lang ako at PAL din ang sasakyan ko noon tapos going to US pa ko so kamusta talaga. clueless ang beauty ko. buti na lang may mabait akong nasabayan dun.

sis di mo nasabi kung international ang flight mo or domestic. assume ko na international ha:

ganito bale:
1. be ready with your passport and ticket. pagdating mo sa Terminal 2, bago pumasok chinecheck ng guard yun passport at ticket mo pakita mo lang.

2. then pila ka para sa x-ray ng mga bagahe mo. habang nakapila may nagccheck din ng passport at ticket.

3. after ma x-ray ang mga bagahe mo, proceed ka na sa check in counter. tignan mo sa board kung anong counter ka dapat. then economy or business/first class tignan mo rin.

4. sa check in counter, bigay mo passport at tiket mo. kung may PAL mabuhay miles ka, ipresent mo rin para macredit yun miles mo. note mo na sa handcarry mo dapat walang liquid stuffs dun ha. bawal yun sa hand carry. ilagay mo lahat sa checked-in baggage mo para di ka mamroblema. pagkacheck in mo ng mga bagahe mo bibigyan ka ng boarding pass.

5. punta ka sa window kung saan yun bayaran ng terminal fee (750). present mo boarding pass mo at pambayad.

6. fill up ka nun embarkation/disembarkation card.

7. pila ka sa immigration counter. present mo yun ni fill up an mo saka boarding pass at passport. dito nila tatatakan ng departure date ang passport mo.

8. pasok ka na sa boarding area. may x-ray ulit dito. yun mga coins, cp, keys relo, belt, shoes nilalagay sa tray. kaya make sure yun mga coins, cp, keys, watch mo e nasa bag mo na lang para less hassle sa pagtatanggal. yun hand carry mo na bag if meron ix-ray din dito.

9. after ng x-ray, boarding area na yun. hanapin mo kung ano yun gate number mo. sinasabi rin ito sa check in counter pagkaabot sa iyo ng boarding pass. if hindi mo pinansin, check mo na lang ang boarding pass para sa boarding time at gate number.

10. pag nasa boarding gate ka na. upo ka na lang dun. hintay ka hanggang ready for boarding na yun eroplano. o kaya ikot ikot ka muna dun sa kahabaan..bili ng snacks (mahal nga lang) or pamasahe..andun ata sa bandang dulo. pag boarding time na, tatawagin yun according sa seat row number. hintayin mo lang yun turn mo.
